Chapter 14
Chapter 14 (Plans and Happy Toddlers)

Chapter Description: After a good race in Forza Horizon 4, I smell food. Time to eat and ask Brian what we’re going do for the upcoming days.

Date: Sunday 12-Dec-21 08:00 (Sunday, December 12, 2021, 8:00 AM)
Location: Brian’s Residence, Skyward Villas Apartments, Kirkwood, Missouri, United States of America
Brian hums as he walks toward the bedrooms whilst his green sweater flutters and his blue jeans hug his lower body. He peeks into my bedroom and smiles as he watches me race my Honda Civic Type R 2015 through the Horizon Sprint Race. He chuckles as he watches me jump to my feet allowing my purple T-shirt to flutter and reveal the Pampers Baby Dry diaper hugging my waist. “He’s such a happy little tot. I’m glad he became my little brother. Stacey’s a lot happier and cuter like this.”
Brian inches over to me as I slide onto my padded bottom and kneels to pull the back of my diaper out, “He’s a little wet, but his diaper will hold out. Pampers Baby Dry and Pampers Cruisers are two of the best brands when it comes to Stacey and his long gaming sessions.” Brian hums as he releases my diaper’s waistband and inches out of my bedroom to begin cooking breakfast.

“YES!” I jump to my feet and giggle as my car speeds through the end race screen. I smile and giggle as my character dances in front of the other podium finishers, “I love Forza Horizon 4. And my gaming PC is awesome!” I giggle as I dart my eyes across my Acer Nitro 5 to my left on my computer desk paired with the 19.5-inch Acer 1600x900 monitor to the right of the laptop and my Logitech Z200 Speakers. The left speaker rests on the left side of the laptop and the right speaker rests behind the monitor. “This is the best setup I ever had. It’s been with me since I came here and it’s AWESOME! I wonder if…”
My words fade when the scent of breakfast fills my nose, “I wonder what Brian’s cooking.” I waddle out of my bedroom whilst my Pampers crinkle and I giggle, “I love that I’m a toddler now. I don’t have to worry about work, I don’t have to worry about responsibilities…” I stop a few feet away from the kitchen entrance and glance down to the Pampers Baby Dry diaper hugging my waist.
I smile as I run my finger along the yellow wetness indicator, “And I don’t ever gotta stop gaming to potty anymore, and…” I giggle as I run my hands along my smooth face, “No more facial hair. I hated having facial hair as an adult. SO GLAD that’s never gonna happen again!” I blink twice when I see Brian standing in the kitchen entrance, “BRIAN!” I waddle-run toward him when he kneels with open arms, “BRIAN! BRIAN! BRIAN!”
Brian chuckles when I hug him and he returns my hug whilst patting my padded bottom, “Good morning, Stacey. Are you having fun racing?”
I smile toward Brian when we break free of the hug, “Uh huh! I smelled food. What are you cooking?” I waddle toward the middle of the kitchen and sniff twice, “Smells really good.”
Brian rises and walks over to the skillet, “Just some chicken fajita rice. I thought we could have something different for breakfast instead of sausage and waffles and such.”
“So…” I tilt my head from side to side as I ponder Brian’s decision, “It’s brunch then?”
Brian turns the skillet to low and nods, “Yep, that’s right Little Brother.”
I lick my lips as I watch Brian walk across the kitchen to the cabinets resting to the right above the sink. I bounce up and down as he grabs two small bowls and heads toward the drawers to the right of the fridge to grab a giant blue spoon, “I’m so hungry.” My belly growls as Brian sets the bowls on the counter, and scoops some of the chicken fajita rice into the right-hand bowl.
Brian chuckles as he walks over to the dining room table to set the bowl in front of my booster seat, “Now all you need is a bottle, Stace.” Brian walks over to me and ruffles my hair, “What you want to drink?”
I lick my lips and giggle as Brian opens the fridge. Straightaway my eyes focus on the second shelf of baby bottles. “Yummy!” I pull a baby bottle of lemon lime sparkling water out and waddle-run toward the dining room table. I set my bottle next to my plate and lick my lips as I turn back to the kitchen entrance, “Come on, Brian!”
Brian fills his own bowl and grabs two forks, “I’m coming, Stacey. Keep your diaper on, Silly Baby.” Brian walks into the dining room and sets a fork inside my bowl, “I almost forgot this.”
I smile toward Brian as he sits down to my left, “Thankies, Brian.” I crawl into my booster seat and drive some of the delicious food toward my mouth. “HOT! HOT!” I blow on the rice and chicken inside my mouth as it stings my tongue. I sigh once the food travels down my throat, and I drive my bottle toward my lips to suck down the delicious water which soothes my tongue.
I pop the slightly drained bottle from my mouth and whimper, “It’s hot.”
Brian ruffles my hair, “Slow down next time, Stace. Blow on it first and then eat.” He hums as he slowly resumes eating his food and drinking his water.
“Okay.” I blow on my next forkful of chicken fajita rice and drive it toward my mouth, “Yum…” I giggle and swing my legs whilst my Pampers crinkle as I devour five more servings. Right as I pull a sixth serving, I turn to Brian, “Brian?”
Brian pauses as he drains some of his water, “Yeah?”
“I was wondering…” I drain some of my bottle and smile around it as I scan Brian.
Brian ruffles my hair as he watches me drain my bottle until it’s empty, “What, Little Bro?”
I pop my bottle from my mouth and hop out of my booster seat, “I was wondering what you wanted to do today?” I waddle toward the kitchen and toss my baby bottle into the sink. I waddle over to the fridge and pull at the door, “UUUMPH! UUUUMPH!” I wobble when I accidentally let go of the door and crash-land on my padded bottom, “Darn it!”
Brian walks into the kitchen and kneels in front of me, “You okay, Stace?”
I smile toward Brian, “Uh huh.” and rise to my feet. I waddle over to the fridge and tug at the door, “I can’t open it.”
Brian walks over to the fridge and ruffles my hair, “I got it.” He opens the fridge and boops my nose, “Sometimes you have to put more force into it.”
“I see.” I scan the shelf and take a baby bottle of kiwi strawberry sparkling water, “Yes!” I drive the bottle toward my mouth and turn to Brian as he shuts the fridge behind me, “So-what-are-we-gonna-do-today?”
Brian tilts his head, “What?” and boops my nose.
I pop my quarter drained bottle from my lips and giggle, “Whatcha wanna do today?”
“Well…” Brian rubs his chin and walks toward the balcony door to find snow lightly falling and collecting on the balcony porch, “It’s starting to snow and it’s getting colder. I think hot cocoa and a story on the couch would be a good start.”
I waddle over to the balcony and my eyes widen at the snow. I smile around my bottle as I drain it whilst watching the snow fall. This is so cool! The first time I’ve seen snow since I became a toddler and…and I don’t have shovel it or…or walk to school in it or…or…walk across a parking lot to get to class in it.
Tears of joy swim in my eyes as I finish off my bottle and it drops from my hands onto the floor in front of me, “This…this is…” I sniff and smile despite the tears inching down my face.
Brian notices my tears and kneels to wipe them with his gentle thumb, “What’s the matter, Stacey?”
I shake my head and train my smile on Brian as my tears abate, “I’m not sad, I’m happy. I’m happy cause I’m with you and…and…I’ll never have those adult thoughts or worries anymore.” I wrap my arms around Brian’s neck and giggle when he returns my hug, “I love you, Brian!”
Brian pats my bottom as he rises me with me held close in his warm hug, “I love you too, Stacey.” Brian kisses my cheek as he walks toward the couch and sits down with me in his lap, “Any other ideas you have, Stacey?”
“I wanted to go to the beach.” I scan the hardwood floor of the apartment and swing my legs allowing my Pampers to crinkle. I squirm in Brian’s lap as he turns on the TV to Rugrats. I giggle as I watch Tommy and his toddler friends struggle through the summer heat and I smile toward Brian, “I love that we’re together. Together forever.”
Brian smiles down at me and boops my nose, “I am too, Stacey.” Brian lifts me off his lap and sets me on the couch seat to his left so he can head toward the bathroom.
I cross my arms and pout, “Aww…” I grab the remote and pause the TV while I await Brian’s return. When he returns a few minutes later, I jump off the couch and hug his waist, “I love you, Brian. You’re the bestest!”
Brian smiles down at me and ruffles my hair, “I try.”
I giggle as I enjoy Brian’s gentle hair ruffles, “And you succeed as the bestest big brother ever!”

I giggle as the credits for Rugrats begin showing on the screen, “I love that show lots.” I turn from my spot on the couch and don’t see Brian, “Where did he go? He always manages to sneak away when I get absorbed in my cartoons.” I slide off the couch and waddle toward his bedroom. I smile when see his door open slightly.
“Brian?” I peek inside and spot him at his computer, “Brian, whatcha doing?” I waddle over to him and rest my hands on his leg whilst smiling toward him. I giggle at Brian, oblivious to the hissing echoing around me as the bottles I had for brunch earlier are leaving my body and changing my Pampers’ wetness indicator from yellow to yellow-green.
Brian averts his eyes from Expedia.com and ruffles my hair, “Just doing some trip planning.”
“Trip planning?” I bounce up and down and giggle, “Can I see?”
“Sure.” Brian lifts me into his lap and giggles when I stand in his lap to scan the monitor with him. “Such a silly tot.”
I dart my eyes across the screen and see the starting point: St. Louis International Airport, St. Louis, MO. I dart my eyes downward to the destination: Myrtle Beach International Airport, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. “Okay…I get it. We go from St. Louis directly to Myrtle Beach. But…but what about your van?” I train my concerned eyes on Brian.
Brian ruffles my hair, “Mom’s gonna drive us to the airport and keep the van. When we get to the airport in Myrtle Beach, we’ll take an Uber to the hotel since Ubers will be cheaper than having a rental car.”
“Okay, that makes sense.” I turn back to the site and scroll down to the Hotels section and smile wide at the name: Holiday Inn at the Pavilion, “I REMEMBER THAT HOTEL!”
Brian winces at my shout, “Not so loud, Little Bro.”
I bow my head and press my index fingers together, “Sowwy. I got excited. I…I get to experience that place again. I…I get to go on vacation as a toddler for the first time and have fun. I..it’s just…” I sniffle and train my teary eyes on Brian, “I’m so happy!”
Brian hugs me close and pats my padded bottom, “I know. Now…um…can you sit down so Big Bro can finish booking the trip?”
“Sowwy.” I break free of the hug and turn to the screen so I can scroll down, “It’s the big blue BOOK IT button right, Brian?”
Brian ruffles my hair, “Yep. Glad you could help me, Stace.”
I click the BOOK IT button and turn to the printer resting to the left of Brian’s DELL XPS 15 laptop. I smile as the itinerary prints out, “YAY!”
Brian turns toward his printer and inserts the itinerary into the copier/feeder at the top. He hums as the printer’s scanner function saves the itinerary to a file on his computer, “Now we’ve got multiple copies. We just leave it at the printer and grab it before we leave.”
I jump out of Brian’s lap and waddle toward his door, “So…” I waddle back over to Brian seconds after he rises from his chair, “When are we going on vacation?”
Brian chuckles and kneels to boop my nose, “Silly, it said on the itinerary.”
“Oh…” I rub the back of my head and giggle, “I think it was from Saturday, December 18th to Sunday, December 26th.”
Brian rises to check the itinerary file and nods as he kneels to scoop me into his loving hold, “Yeppers.”
I smile as I rest my head over Brian’s shoulder as he slowly walks out of his bedroom and across the apartment. I yawn and snuggle close to Brian, “This is so awesome. I’m a toddler, I’ve got my bestest friend in the whole wide world as my big brother, and…and…we’re gonna go to my favorite vacation spot for the first time as brothers.”
Brian nods as he heads toward my bedroom, “Yep, but until then…” and lays me down on my changing table, “we can have a nap together.”
I squirm on the changing table as I watch Brian grab a fresh Pampers Baby Dry diaper and lightly tap my head with it, “What time is it?”
Brian glances toward the clock above my doorway,
……

“It’s 12:30, nap time.” Brian unfastens my soaked diaper and lifts my legs to slide it away.
I giggle as the cold wipes contact my skin and I kick my legs while Brian works on getting me dry, “Well I did watch lots of Rugrats.”
Brian nods as he tosses the last wipe into my old diaper and lowers my legs so he can tape my old diaper into a ball, “And I was searching for the best prices for a while, then you helped me at the last minute with confirming everything.”
I giggle and nod while Brian powders my uplifted bottom, “Yeah. Glad I could help, Brian.” I yawn seconds later and rub my eyes as Brian flicks a fresh Pampers Baby Dry diaper unfolded. I smile toward Brian as he lowers me onto the fresh diaper and brings the green circle decorated shell up to my belly. “I’m happy.”
Brian smiles down at me as he secures the new diaper snug around my waist, “I’m glad.” He lifts me into his arms and pats my freshly diapered bottom as he heads toward the bathroom, “All dry, Stacinator.”
I giggle when Brian sets me on my feet in the center of the bathroom and walks over to the sink to wash his hands. I giggle as I shake my freshly diapered bottom and my Pampers crinkle, “Hee…” I smile as I waddle over to Brian right as he finishes drying his hands, “I love you, Brian!”
Brian lifts me into his arms and kisses my forehead, “I love you too, Stacinator.” He cradles me and walks toward the kitchen to grab a baby bottle of ice-cold chocolate milk. He flies the bottle around my head as he slowly walks toward the couch to sit down. Once he’s comfy, he flies the bottle toward my mouth.
I smile around the bottle as I begin suckling down the delicious, sweet treat all while my Favorites playlist echoes low across the apartment. I swing my legs and my Pampers crinkle while I continue drinking and my eyes droop. A trip planned, brunch eaten, cartoons watched, all culminating with Brian bottle-feeding me from his lap. Being a toddler is the best thing that could have ever…ever… My thoughts fade as my eyes droop closed while I continue suckling the now empty bottle.
Brian chuckles as he rests me over his shoulder and pats my upper back, “Yeah, this is the life for sure. Wouldn’t trade being Stacey’s big brother for anything.” Brian smiles when my belch graces his ears and he yawns. Brian holds me close as he lies down on the couch and rubs my back. Another yawn as he watches me nap on his chest while the slow rise and fall of my chest lulls him into slumber.
