Chapter 30
Chapter 30 (Winter Fun)

Chapter Description: Chapter 30: My first snow as a toddler in this parallel world. I know what I wanna do. BUILD A SNOWMAN!

Date: Friday 04-Feb-22 07:15 (Friday, February 4, 2022, 7:15 AM)

Location: Brian’s Residence, Skyward Villas Apartments, Kirkwood, Missouri, United States of America

I jump up from my computer while Need for Speed Underground 2 fades to reveal my Windows desktop. I giggle as I bounce on each foot whilst my purple T-shirt flutters and my Pampers Cruisers diaper crinkles. I glance down and giggle at the green circles and yellow wetness indicator while my toes wiggle. “I love being a toddler.”

I raise my eyes toward my toy chest and waddle over to my changing table to open the second drawer. I smile when I spot the black furred Winter socks and pull a pair out. I slide onto my padded bottom and bring the socks over my feet and up past my knees. “Ahhh...so warm.”

I jump to my feet and waddle into the kitchen. I lick my lips as I scan the fridge, “I wonder what I can munch on.” I turn toward the sink and spot my stepladder. I waddle over to the ladder and pull it across the hardwood kitchen floor toward the fridge. “Okay…” I climb the ladder and smile at the boxes of Frosted Flakes, Cheerios Oat Crunch with Almond Slices, and Honey Bunches of Oats.

I reach for the Cheerios Oat Crunch with Almond Slices and pull the box to my chest. I wobble as I step down from my ladder and waddle over to the counter beneath the bowl and plates cabinet. I turn back to my stepladder and sigh, “Darn it…”

…...

Brian opens his door and sighs as his breathing returns to normal whilst his green sweater and blue jeans hug his body. Really glad I bought that Oculus Rift. I can get all my exercise in without needing to go out in the snow. I wonder if Stacey’s seen it yet. Brian sets his Oculus Rift inside the case on his bedside table and plugs it up to charge. “There we go.” He turns toward his doorway and leaves his bedroom, “Let’s see..” Brian heads toward my bedroom and finds the door open. When he peeks inside, my bedroom is empty, “Hmmm…”

…...

Brian hums as he walks down the hallway and passes the kitchen. When Brian reaches the balcony, he pulls the curtains open and smiles at the snow-covered landscape, “Stacey’s going to love this. Now I just need to find him.” Brian shuts the curtains and turns to the empty living room area, “AHA! That’s where I haven’t checked.”

Brian heads toward the kitchen and smiles when he sees me pushing my stepladder toward the counter beneath the cupboard, “Staaaaacey.”

I stop in the middle of ascending my first step and turn to Brian with a smile, “BRIAN!” I waddle-run toward him and wrap my arms around his right leg, “Hee…” I train my smile toward him, “I was just about to get me some cereal, you want some?”

Brian lifts me into his arms and boops my nose as he holds me close, “I might, I did want to show you something though.” Brian walks toward the balcony and pulls the curtains back to reveal a snowy landscape before us, “See?” Brian steps back a few feet, “It snowed.”

“AWESOME!” I squirm in Brian’s hold and giggle when he sets me on my feet, “I wanna build a snowman!” I waddle-run toward the door and smile as I scan the snow covering the vast balcony along with the roads and sidewalks below, “THIS IS AMAZING!” I turn to Brian with a wide smile, “Can we? Can we build a snowman?”

Brian ruffles my hair, “Of course.” and lifts me back into his arms. He hums as he walks back into the kitchen and sets me in my booster seat at the dining room table, “After breakfast. You said you were going to have some cereal right?”

I nod and crawl out of my booster seat, “Yeah.” I waddle into the kitchen entrance and watch as Brian pours me a bowl of Cheerios Oat Crunch, “What are you going to eat?”

Brian walks over to me with my bowl having a spoon inside and kneels to offer my breakfast, “I’ve got my protein bars, Silly. I don’t feel like cooking anyways.”

“Okay.” I take my bowl and waddle toward the dining room table. I set my bowl on the table in front of my booster seat and crawl onto it. I giggle as I squirm in my seat to get comfy and smile as I drive the spoon into the bowl. I munch on the cereal whilst my smile never fades.

Seconds into my devouring the bowl, Brian places a baby bottle of fruit punch next to my bowl. I smile toward him despite the cereal crumbs decorating my mouth, “Thankies, Brian.”

Brian ruffles my hair as he watches me drain some of my bottle, “You’re welcome.” He sits down to my left and alternates between munching his chocolate oats protein bar and drinking his bottled water.

I giggle while pushing my empty bowl and five baby bottles toward the center of the dining room table, “That was good!” I jump down from my chair and don’t see Brian sitting next to me, “Brian?” I waddle into the kitchen and smile when I spot him putting his bowl in the sink. “Brian?” I waddle over and wrap my arms around his right leg, “Can we make a snowman now?”

Brian ruffles my hair and lifts me into his arms, “Hold on, I still gotta put up the other dishes, Baby Brother.” He walks into the dining room and sets me on my feet, “I’ll be ready in a minute.”

I smile as I watch Brian pick up my bottles and carry them to the kitchen sink. I grab my bowl and waddle after him, “I can help.” I stop to his right as he sets the bottles inside.

Brian turns and smiles as he takes the bowl, “Thanks, Stacey.” He kneels and boops my nose, “Ready to build your snowman?”

“YAY!” I giggle as I waddle-run toward the balcony door and turn to see Brian walking over with black boots covering his once bare feet. I wiggle my toes within my comfy wool socks and smile toward him as he stops at the door, “Open it, Brian!”

Brian smiles as he unlocks the door and opens it to reveal the frigid 10°F that’s thankfully repelled by his strong sweater, “Yeah, it’s cold out, Stacey.” He glances down and finds me rubbing my arms. Brian kneels, “Need a sweater, Crinklebutt?” and delivers a playful pat to my diapered bottom.

I stop rubbing my arms and nod, “Yush pwease?” I waddle back into the apartment and whimper as I waddle-run toward my bedroom to grab the gray sweater hanging over the bars at the foot of my crib. “Yes!” I slide the sweater over my head and thread my arms through the sleeves.

I waddle back to the balcony door and glance to my hands, “I don’t got gloves.” I train my eyes on Brian and giggle when he tosses me a pair of black gloves, “Thankies, Brian!” I slide the gloves over my hands and flex my fingers, “Yes!”

Brian smiles as he slides his own gloves on and begins moving snow around to make a giant bottom ball, “Alrighty here’s the bottom part.”

…...

I giggle and smile as I dart my eyes around the vast balcony full of snow, “This is so cool!” I waddle toward the far-right side of the balcony and grab my small shovel so I can push more snow toward the body of the snowman. I smile as I begin rolling the snow into a ball and lift it high above my head.

Brian chuckles as he watches me wobble and slam the ball of snow atop the bottom part of the body. “Nice work, Stacey. My baby brother is really strong.”

I smile toward Brian whilst arcing my arms at a right angle taut with my cheeks, “Hee...thankies, Brian!” I waddle into the apartment and hum as I search through the fridge.

Brian tilts his head as he enters the house and shuts the door behind him, “What are you looking for?”

I smile as I waddle over to Brian with a carrot and two grapefruits, “Nose and eyes.”

Brian ruffles my hair, “Alright. I hadn’t eaten them in a while, so they were gonna be thrown out anyway.” He smiles as he follows me back into the snowy wonderland.

I giggle as I scan the snowman, “He’s awesome, Brian!” I stand to the left of the snowman and smile toward Brian, “Take a picture! Take a picture!”

Brian pulls his phone from his pocket and pokes his fingers through the removable holes on his right-hand glove, “Alrighty, keep your shirt on, Silly.” He adjusts the phone sideways and smiles as he snaps a couple pictures. “Alright, I got them.” Brian opens the door and turns to me, “Come on back inside.”

“Aww…” I waddle into the apartment and slide out of my Winter clothes, revealing my purple T-shirt and Pampers Cruisers diaper. I giggle as I dump the clothes in front of the balcony door and smile at the snowman sitting a few feet away. “This was lots of fun, Brian!”

Brian ruffles my hair and kneels to pick up my discarded clothes, “I agree, Stacinator.” He walks toward my bedroom and tosses the clothes in my hamper.

I waddle toward my bedroom doorway right as Brian steps through, “Brian?”

Brian kneels and boops my nose, “What?”

I smile wide and wrap my arms around his neck, “I love you, Brian! You’re the bestest brother in the whole world.”

Brian lifts me into the air and spins me around, “I think I have the best baby brother in the world, Stacey.”

“WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!” I giggle as Brian’s joyous spin carries me through the air. When he stops moments later, I’m giggling and smiling down at him while his loving smile radiates back at me. This is truly the best day ever. My first snow as a toddler and Brian as my big brother. I love this world so much. I’m glad I’m here and nowhere else. This is so much fun!
