Chapter 15
Chapter 15 (Vacations and Happy Memories)

Chapter Description: The vacation day has arrived. Though I slept through the trip to the airport, I can still experience the joy of being a toddler of a plane! I can’t wait to get to Myrtle Beach!

Date: Saturday 18-Dec-21 14:19 (Saturday, December 18, 2021, 2:19 PM)
Location: Lambert International Airport, St. Louis, Missouri, United States of America
I yawn and rub my eyes as a gentle wind ruffles my purple T-shirt. I squirm and my Pampers Cruisers diaper crinkles as I scan the vast white tiled area sporting rows of seats on the right and tall white stations with airline names I remember from my old world – Delta Airlines, United Airlines – on the left.
Seconds later, I realize that I’m being pushed through this area as the creak of turning wheels reach my ears. I dart my eyes across the purple cloth material surrounding me and glance down to see my white tennis shoes covering my feet, “Brian?”
Brian smiles as he stops at Terminal 7 and pushes the stroller toward the window seats, “Good afternoon, Sleepyhead. I was wondering if you were going to sleep through the plane ride too.” Brian kneels in front of the stroller and ruffles my hair, “I guess your stroller is super comfy huh?”
I smile toward Brian, “So that’s what this is?” I swing my legs and giggle as my Pampers crinkle, “So where’s the plane? When do we board?”
Brian unbuckles me from the stroller and pulls my diaper bag from the back, “We should be boarding soon.”
I yawn as Brian lifts me into his arms and rests me on his hip as he pushes the stroller toward a giant corral of them resting on the left-hand side of the terminal, “So it’s a rental?”
Brian nods and before he can speak, a female’s voice echoes across the terminal…
“Now boarding Flight 777 for Myrtle Beach.”
Brian strolls toward the gated door leading to the plane and stops behind other parents and big siblings with their sons, daughters, and little siblings respectively, “And we’re one step closer to Myrtle Beach.”
I dart my eyes around the gray wall as Brian carries me down the blue carpeted hall, “I’m so excited. I haven’t been on a plane in a long time. Now…now I get to be on one with you as a toddler.” My eyes widen when the hallway gives way to a single aisle with rows of three seat sections on the left and right.
At the end of this vast space rest two doors on the left and right along with a door reading: EMPLOYEES ONLY. “This is a plane!” I squirm in Brian’s arms, “Let me down, I wanna see! I wanna see!” I continue to squirm despite Brian’s sigh, and once I’m on my feet I’m waddling toward Aisle G – Seats 1-3 so I can stand in the window seat, “WOW!” My eyes widen at the wing stretching out from the plane, “SO COOL!”
Two other moms passing by giggle at my cuteness and their comments, “He’s adorable.”  “I bet it’s his first flight.”, grace my ears.
Brian scans his tickets and chuckles, “Well I guess G2 and G3 are the seats for us.” He sits down in his seat and sets my diaper bag at his feet. He turns and pats my diapered bottom, “Sit down, Silly. We’re gonna be taking off soon.”
Right as Brian says this a flight attendant passes by and waves at us, “Hello sir, could you please get your little one buckled up? We’re about to take off.”
Brian nods and turns back to me, “See?”
I giggle and sit down with a crinkle, “Sowwy. I’m just excited.”
The flight attendant smiles, “I know, sweetie. It’s just for your safety. Do you need help getting buckled in?”
I scan the seat and notice that I’m sitting in a booster seat that’s strapped to the plane seat. “When? How? Was it always here?”
Brian chuckles as he buckles himself in and ruffles my hair, “You were just super excited.”
I giggle and swing my legs while smiling at the flight attendant, “Can you help me pwease?”
The flight attendant nods and pulls the three-point harness strap from the top of the seat toward the buckle at the bottom of the seat resting between my swinging legs. She makes short work of snapping the buckle and ruffles my hair, “Have a nice flight.”
Once the flight attendant leaves and buckles herself in, I glance out the window. “Brian! The plane is moving!”
Brian ruffles my hair as the vibrations of the plane being slowly moved toward the straight line of the runway echo across his body, “Yep. We’re almost ready for takeoff.”
I smile as I watch the runway slowly pass us by and stop moments later. “Why did it stop?” My ears flicker and pick up roaring outside the plane. What’s that? That must be the airplane engine…it’s really loud. My stomach rises to my throat as the plane speeds along the runway and slowly lifts into the air. I turn to my right and smile at Brian, “THIS IS SO COOL!”
Brian pokes my nose as the plane continues to rise, “I know, just keep your voice down.”
I giggle as I watch the plane level off and smile when I hear the pilot’s voice echoing across the plane about seat belt signs being off and “free to move about the cabin.” I smile as I press my booster’s seat buckle button and stand up in my seat to scan the ground below, “Wow! It’s like the ground is moving slow…and everything looks like giant squares.”
Brian chuckles and ruffles my hair, “I know, it’s an amazing experience. Glad you and I could do this.”
I turn to Brian and smile, “I’m glad too.”

Location: Myrtle Beach International Airport, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, United States of America
Brian smiles as he carries me through the airport terminal whilst resting his left hand under my bottom and pulling our suitcase with his right hand, “We’re here, Stacey. You fell asleep during the flight.”
I yawn and rub my eyes, “Wha…” I dart my eyes around and notice the terminal passing us by. I yawn and blink twice at the dark sky greeting our eyes, “Where we, Brian?”
Brian stops at the terminal exit and waves at the Uber driver pulling up in a green Honda Civic, “We’re at Myrtle Beach. We’re gonna head to our hotel now.”
I yawn again as Brian sets me on my feet and puts the suitcase in the trunk. I yawn and rub my eyes as I watch Brian set my diaper bag on the floor of the right-hand seat. “Brian?”
Brian turns and lifts me into his arms, “Yeah?” and sits down in the right-hand seat. He buckles me into the car seat behind the driver and ruffles my hair, “What’s on your mind?”
I smile and swing my legs as the Uber driver heads toward the hotel, “Well, it’s dark now. We can’t really do much exploring.” My belly growls and I giggle as hissing echoes around me, carrying the bottles I had during the last couple hours of our flight out of my body. “I’m hungry.”
Brian ruffles my hair, “We can do more exploring first thing in the morning. And we’ll get some food from RipTydz after we’re settled in the hotel. Promise.”
“YAY!” I giggle and blow a kiss toward Brian, “Love you, Brian!”
Brian ruffles my hair, “I love you too, Baby Brother.”
……
Date: Saturday 18-Dec-21 19:19 (Saturday, December 18, 2021, 7:19 PM)
Location: Holiday Inn at the Pavilion, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, United States of America
I smile when the Uber pulls into the roundabout where the hotel entrance rests to our right, “Yay!” I train my eyes toward my left and spot the pillars rising toward the ceiling of the covered roundabout, “I’m so excited!”
Brian hops out the right passenger’s seat with my diaper bag over his shoulder and walks over to the left-hand side to unbuckle me from the car seat, “Yeppers, now we can go get some food…after we get to our room.” Brian sets me on my feet with a loving pat to my diapered bottom and grabs the suitcase from the trunk, “Ready?”
I waddle over to Brian and smile toward him as I grab his free left hand, “Yeppers!” I waddle alongside Brian through the front door and stop at the concierge desk to our left. I turn to my right and spot the vast expanse of bright pink walls and floors. Down the hallway on the right rests two elevators while to the left down the hallway rests a walkway toward the darkened beach. “So cool!”
Brian takes the key to room 125 and ruffles my hair, “Ready?”
I turn around with a nod and wrap my arms around Brian’s waist, “Yeppies! Hee…” I break free of the hug and waddle toward the elevators. Upon reaching the first of two elevators, I press the up button and turn to Brian with a smile, “Come on!”
Brian chuckles as he reaches me right as the elevator opens, “I’m right here, Stacinator.”
I giggle and waddle into the elevator with Brian. I dart my eyes around the pink interior and smile toward Brian whilst the elevator door opens to reveal rooms spanning the left side of the hallway. I dart my eyes across the room numbers and turn to my right, “Come on, Brian.”
Brian smiles as he follows me and counts the numbers off: 110, 112, 114, 116, 118… He smiles when I stop at 125 on the right side of the hall and he ruffles my hair, “Here we are.” Brian opens the door with the key card and reveals our hotel room. He smiles at the closet to the left of the door, the bathroom to the right of the closet, and a vast space of twenty feet before reaching the twin beds and living room area.
I smile as I waddle past the beds and turn to the TV across from the beds, “So cool!” I turn from the TV and yawn as I scan the sliding door leading to the balcony which sports lawn chairs and a table, “Neato.” I turn from the balcony and my belly growls, “Can we go eat now?”
I giggle when I spot Brian laying out the suitcase and labeling the closet doors with BRIAN and STACEY sticky notes. “Whatcha doin’?” I waddle over to Brian as he opens the suitcase and places my clothes on the two shelves behind the STACEY labeled door.
Brian turns to me after setting the last of my jeans inside, “Just putting up our clothes so it’ll be easier to pick stuff in the morning.”
“Want me to help?” I squirm when I sit on my padded bottom and hissing echoes around me, carrying the bottle I had during our trip over out of my body. “I can.” I giggle whilst oblivious to my Pampers wetness indicator shifting from green to yellow-green.
Brian folds his shirts and sets them in his closet side, “It’s alright. I can handle it, why don’tcha watch TV or explore the room.”
“Heee…” My belly growls and I waddle around the hotel room, “Otay. I still hungwy.” I giggle as I waddle around the vast hotel room. I never realized how big these rooms are.
……
My eyes widen when I spot a mini fridge behind a door under the TV, “BRIAN! LOOKIT!”
Brian closes his closet door, and his eyes widen when I reach for the mini fridge door, “WAIT!” He rushes over to me and lifts me away from the fridge before I can open it, “Those cost extra and they’re way overpriced.”
I nod as Brian places me on my feet in the center of the living room section of the hotel room, “Sowwy.” I bow my head and press my index fingers together, “I’m hungwy.” I train my pleading eyes on Brian and my belly growls, “Pwease?”
Brian lifts me into his arms and kisses my forehead, “Alright.” He sets me on my bed atop my purple blanket he laid out earlier and kneels in front of my bed to grab my diaper bag. He slides the diaper bag over his shoulder and lifts me into his arms, “Come on, let’s head to RipTydz.”
I lick my lips and smile as Brian carries me out of the hotel room and to the elevator. I giggle and wrap my arms around Brian’s neck while my belly growls. I kiss Brian’s cheek as he carries me through the front door of the hotel and turns to his right. “We’re almost there. It’s just next door.”
Brian nods as he heads down the sidewalk. He chuckles when the logo of the restaurant appears in front of him seconds later…
……
Date: Saturday 18-Dec-21 19:30 (Saturday, December 18, 2021, 7:30 PM)
Location: RipTydz Oceanfront Grille & Rooftop Bar, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, United States of America
“We’re here. Wow…” Brian’s eyes widen at the dual floored open space to his left containing tables and chairs populated with happy toddlers, big siblings, and parents enjoying their food. He turns toward the front of the restaurant and heads through the front door. “So, what do you want?”
I giggle as Brian is guided to a table amongst the plethora of tables scattered to our right. My eyes travel around the restaurant and spot the bar resting to our left, “I want the fried pickles, shrimp, and…that’s all. Their fried pickles and shrimp are the bestest!”
Brian nods as he sets me in the highchair to the right of the table he requested and ruffles my hair, “I think I’ll have the same.”
I glance to the highchair tray and swing my legs, “Why the highchair?”
Brian chuckles and kisses my forehead, “Cause you’re cute and you can eat without having to stand in the chair.”
The server returns and smiles at the both of us, “Ready to order?”
I lick my lips and smile, “Fried Pickles and Shrimp with French Fries please?”
The server writes my order and turns to Brian, “And for you?”
Brian smiles, “I’ll have the same. Water to drink though.”
The server nods as she writes and turns to me, “And for you little one?”
I giggle and swing my legs allowing my Pampers to crinkle, “Lemonade with my food pwease?”
The server smiles and heads off to make our order. Within minutes she’s returning with our food and drinks and wishing us a good meal.
I smile as I savor the fried pickles, “BESTEST EVER!” I turn to Brian and giggle whilst my eyes widen, “Well? Well?”
Brian smiles as the sweet and tangy fried pickle combined with the fried shrimp caresses his taste buds, “It’s amazing.” Brian grabs an empty baby bottle from my diaper bag and fills it with the lemonade from the glass the server gave me. “Glad you suggested it, Stacinator.”
……
I giggle and begin devouring my second plate of fried pickles. When my second plate of pickles has followed the same fate as my first plate of shrimp and pickles, I begin draining my second baby bottle down to half whilst oblivious to the hissing carrying my first bottle and half of my dinner out of my body. I smile toward Brian, but when I squirm and feel a squish my smile fades. “Brian?”
Brian averts his eyes from the ocean and ruffles my hair, “What’s up?”
“I went potty. I need changies.” I bow my head and reach toward my diaper bag sitting in the chair next to me. I squirm in the highchair and smile when I find the right-hand latch holding me in. I unhook the latch and raise the tray, which allows me to slide out of the highchair onto the cool tile floor.
I waddle over to my diaper bag and grab a fresh Pampers Cruisers diaper. I hug it close to my chest and waddle over to Brian as he rises from his seat, “Changies?”
Brian ruffles my hair and leaves the payment of $50 with the check, “Let’s get you back to the hotel.”
I yawn and rub my eyes as I watch Brian close my diaper bag so he can swing it over his shoulders. “Brian?”
Brian ruffles my hair and offers his free right hand, “Come on, Baby Bro.”
I grab Brian’s hand and swing his arm whilst holding onto the fresh diaper with my free right hand. “I wanted some dessert too.”
……
Date: Saturday 18-Dec-21 20:11 (Saturday, December 18, 2021, 8:11 PM)
Location: Holiday Inn at the Pavilion, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, United States of America
Brian exits the elevator with me swinging his arm as he heads toward our hotel room, “It’s alright. We’ve got all week to have desserts. And I think you’re sleepy too.”
I shake my head as Brian lifts me into the air and lays me down on my blanket, “Who says?”
Brian takes my fresh diaper from my hand and lightly taps my forehead with it, “I can tell, Stacinator.” He sets the diaper down to my left and grabs the Pampers Complete Baby Wipes and Johnson and Johnson’s Baby Powder from my diaper bag to set down next to the fresh diaper. “Today started out nice huh?”
I nod as I turn toward the balcony door while Brian unfastens my soaked diaper and lifts my legs to slide it away, “Uh huh. Tomorrow will be lots better.” I yawn and rub my eyes as Brian works on getting me dry whilst tossing the used wipes into my old diaper resting outside range of my kicking feet, “We can do lots more, we couldn’t today cause we didn’t get here early enough.”
“True.” Brian lowers my legs so he can roll my old diaper into a ball and tape it shut. “We’ll be able to get more done tomorrow.” Brian lifts my legs with his left hand and powders my uplifted bottom with his right hand, “Any ideas?”
I rub my chin as the sweet-smelling talc tickles my nose, “Maybe the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum and...and…the…the…Sky Wheel and the Ripley’s Haunted House!” I giggle when I feel the soft diaper and glance down to the green circle decorative shell being brought up to my belly, “Thankies for the changies, Brian.”
Brian smiles down at me as he tapes the fresh diaper snug around my waist, “You’re welcome, Stacey.” He pats my fresh diaper and kisses my forehead, “All dry, Crinklebutt.”
I giggle and sit up in my bed, “Heee…” I jump off my bed and shake my freshly diapered bottom allowing my Pampers to crinkle, “Fresh diapeys is the bestest.” I yawn and waddle over to the shut bathroom door, “Bwian?”
Brian exits the bathroom and lifts me high into the air, “Yes, Baby Brother?” Brian smiles as he tosses me into the air and my squeals of joy echo across the room when he catches me.
I smile toward Brian and kiss his cheek, “Love yoos.”
Brian pulls me close for a loving hug and gently walks around the hotel room whilst patting my freshly diapered bottom, “I love you too, Stacinator. This is going to be a great vacation. I just know it.”
I smile as I rest my head over Brian’s shoulder and my eyes droop, “Yeppers! Bestest vacation…ever. I…I’m…so happy…”
Brian smiles when he hears my light snoring and walks over to my bed, “I should have gotten a crib in here.” He turns to his own bed and upturns the covers. “This can work for now though…I can hug him close and keep him safe from falling and from nightmares.” Brian slides into bed and lays me down on his chest. He rubs my back while pulling the covers up to my neck and soon he’s following me into a peaceful sleep.
