Chapter Description: David plays a mean game of chess, even today. He's just closer to the board now.

David Chemiski (4/2047) was a rising chess Master, expected to achieve GrandMaster status, when the virus struck him in 2075.  At age 28, he had competed in tournaments since the age of ten.  Being left at the age of four, he found himself in a totally different situation when it came to matches.  There were some who actually refused to play him, not wanting to appear in a match with such a small child—whether for fear of losing to him or appearing to take advantage of him.
