Cal Porter (12/2034): “The first time I rode the city bus by myself after I bounced was a really strange feeling.  I was the only ‘kid’ on the bus and got more than a few “Why aren’t you in school?” looks.  Thank goodness no one actually asked.  My wife made me call her and keep the phone live for the whole ride.  I don’t think anyone noticed that—they probably thought I was watching some video.  It seemed like the ride took forever—who knew that Nashville was so big!  Actually, it was only about 20 minutes.”
