Terry Preston (6/2031): “I’ve been a fan of roller coasters all my life. There wasn’t a one that I wouldn’t ride and I loved the experience. Coming out of the virus experience as small as I am, returning to the parks for the first time at 46” gave me one real disappointment: I can’t ride the big, fancy rides any more. I’m just too small for the safety features to work. There have been all kinds of workarounds developed to help AR-Adults in much of life, but there’s still no way to trump the fundamental laws of physics. I’m stuck riding much smaller coasters these days, but the bright spot is that a lot of them are still a thrill to ride just because I am so small. They still give a great adrenaline rush and physical experience, just scaled to fit me. I’ve also found that riding with real kids is totally great because I can share the sheer excitement and joy they have in a new experience. That said, I’d still absolutely love to ride all the big coasters again!”
