Jay South (8/2012): “When I went back to the doctors for my first-month checkup, I couldn’t help but realize how small I’d become.  I’d been a skinny little guy back in the day, as I was now, but having grown to a healthy 240 at 6’3”, it felt odd to take up so little of the table.  The best part was the asthma that had given me lots of trouble before didn’t return.  It was going to be great to live without gasping for breath so much of the time.  That was to be a new—and welcome--experience.”
