Chapter Description: Why did you give me this box?
"Well hey there." Said the life guard while looking at Stacey. "What do you need?" Said Jeremy. "Oh you must be her older brother." Said the Lifeguard. "Older brother, huh?" Said Jeremy. Stacey then dashed up to hug Jeremy’s legs. "Yea big brother this is that nice lifeguard I was telling you about." Jeremy then said "Oh excuse me. Uhh miss..." "Lillian. My names Lillian Grey. Nice to meet you." "Well what brings you here?" Said Jeremy. "Well I needed information about Stacey’s physical condition. Any Illness or anything I should be worried about?" Said Lillian. "Why did she get hurt or anything?" Said Jeremy. "No there is going to be a race this Friday and I needed to make sure." Said Lillian. "Race?" Said Jeremy. "The race remember big brother." Said Stacey. "The race? Oh the race! Yea the one with the swimming and such. Yea." "No she has no medical condition or problems."Said Jeremy.
"Thats good to hear. I also came to discuss rules and guidelines. You see if she moves out of her lane, she will be disqualified. Also if she gets into a fight with another child, she will be disqualified." "Don’t worry about any of that. Stacey will be alright." Said Jeremy. "Thats good to hear. Alright take care." Said Lillian as she was walking out the door. "Okay that was creepy. How did she know where we lived?" Said Jeremy. They didn’t think much about it at the time.
Stacey saw that Jeremy didn’t have anything to eat so she went to cook him up something. She really was a good cook. She was good at a lot of things. She began cooking fish. "Oh that smells good." Said Jeremy. They began eating and then flipped on the TV. They turned it to the news and they were still talking about the people in white coats. Jeremy said "Were these people the ones that did this to you?!" Stacey said "I’ve been remembering more and more each day about them. But it’s still hazey. I don’t think the police have any leads so there’s not much we could do right now." Said Stacey. Leave it up to Stacey to rationalize things. Jeremy still was unsure about this whole situation. "Why don’t we go to te police station and tell them what happened." Said Jeremy. "I’m not sure that would be such a good Idea considering we have no proof. I could just be another smart child or something." Said Stacey.
Jeremy was doing his homework when the doorbell rang. He got up to go answer the door. When he arived at the door he saw a girl in a black dress. About 16 or 17 years old. Ask if Stacey was there. "How do you know Stacey?" "We go to school together." Said the girl. "What class?" Asked Jeremy. "Well if you see her could you give her this for me." She handed him a box with a note attached to it. He figured it was about something or other she had been dealing with. "Hey Stacey I got a package for you." Said Jeremy as he was walking into the room. "STACEY he yelled as he saw her sweating terribly on the bed." She had a fever and he put her in the bathtub with cold water. She begon going into convulsions and Jeremy remembered the strange girl and the box she gave him.
He opened the box and there was a surrenge with green fluid in it. He remembered her "Birthmark" on her neck and he stuck it in there. The convulsions stopped. Stacey mumbled something. He took her out of the bathtub. Her clothes were soaked. He desided not to change her clothes, so he just threw a few towels on the bed and layed her down. She remained unconscious for a while. Later he heard screaming from the room. Stacey was gripping her chest. As Jeremy watched, Stacey tossed and turned around in her bed. Her frame began to expand. Her body was maturing at an excellerated rate. In about 10 minutes she was her normal 16 year old self.
She shot up out of bed the next day. She tried to stand up. Too dizzy, she fell back down. Her clothes were horrendiously outstretched. She said "Jeremy what’s going on!?" "You’re uhh... big again." Said Jeremy. Jeremy read the note on the box. "Use if necessary."
