Chapter 1
Introduction

Chapter Description: The life of Jeremy Parker and Stacey Brass as told by me.

Jeremy is a 17 year old high school student that has had a pretty hard life. Both of his parents are deceased, leaving him with his grandmother. His Grandfather passed away, but that old man was never a good example for him. He did drugs and alcohol. When he would come to the house on late nights, he drank more than his weight in alcohol, he would mercilessly beat Jeremy until he passed out due to sheer dizzyness.

But that was when Jeremy was younger, now he has a whole new set of problems to deal with. But the one golden highlight of his life is Stacey Brass, a beautiful 16 year old girl with long straight blonde hair. The love was mutual they had been in love since they were kids, with plans to get married right out of highschool.

Jeremy was never good about letting others get close to him but with Stacey something just brought out the good in him. He never really opened up to anyone. Tragic events in his life gave him maturity far beyond his years.

His parents were good to him. He used to be a happy little boy but on his 9th birthday while driving to pick him up a present a drunk group of teens smashed right into his parents killing the parents instantly. He sat there at his birthday party alone and scared, no one showed up. He recieved a call from the cheif of police about the accedent. And that night Jeremy the boy died and Jeremy the cold, emotionally shut in man was born.

The DA found his closest relatives which were his grandparents. He was sent to live with his grandparents. One night when he was 10 his grandfather beat him especially bad and he ran away. With his grandfather being the way he was he really didn’t care. He found himself collapsed on the street a couple of blocks away from his grandparents’ house. A young girl with long blonde hair found him and with all of her strength she dragged him in. When he came too his wounds were fixed up and the little girl brought him some warm tea. He said "Where am I?" The little girl said" Your in my house silly, I saw you all beat up on the street so I took you in."

"Where are your parents?" He said. She said "Mommy and Daddy are gone alot. But they tought me well." He said "Never ever let your mom or dad leave your side cuz when they do" His face almost started to tear up and he cut off his sentence. She said "My name’s Stacey nice to meet you"

"You know somthing that always makes me feel better?"

Reading "Scars of the Soul" (A book about the trials and tribulations of the 18th century) He said "That book must be way to hard for you." (Not knowing that she was actually very smart) "Not at all, my daddy gave it to me when I was six and he stayed up with me teaching me how to read." Jeremy was never good at letting people in but with her it just all poored out. He bursted into tears and that was the first and last time he would ever cry. She said "You lost your mommy and daddy too?" He stopped crying immediatley and said "You told me... (She wrapped her arms around him and said "everything will be okay.") very warm and soothing almost like a mother. Truth is she had been getting taken care of by a neighbor, who paid their bills. But that was not to last very long.

2 years later that old bastard grandfather passed away.

Stacey and Jeremy attended the funeral along with his grandmother and a few friends of the family. Stacey’s neighbor moved and told her that he couldn’t help her anymore. Just like that she was out of a place to live. Jeremy talked his grandmother into letting Stacey stay with them.

Once Junior High rolled around, akward puberty and periods aside, they fell in love. He Never had any friends and Stacey would get many a look from other boys but good ol’ Jeremy made damn sure that they wouldn’t look again. Stacey was the image of the perfect girl even at age 13 she had a nice figure. She had brains too. Jeremy Knew how lucky he was, he never wanted to let her go.

One day Stacey came across a couple of questionable guys and Jeremy was watching, well one of the guys slapped Stacey’s butt, saying "Hey sweetcheeks, you wanna see a real man work?" Stacey just kept walking but then he grabbed her arm. She said "let me go!" Jeremy walked over to the guy and whispered to him "If you want to leave this building alive you’ll get ya damn hands off her now you stupid sadistic prick!" The guy said "Who do you think you’re talkin’ too punk?" He tried to push Jeremy but he backed up and the guy fell on his face. The guy got up and said "You think that’s funny!" He took a swing and Jeremy grabbed his hand and twisted it behind his arm. The punk said "I give, I give." Jeremy wasn’t done. He said "I warned you, do it again and I’ll make sure you can find your own teeth."

High School came and well Jeremy was the badass of the school. Nobody messed with Stacey or him. They knew better. His Sophomore year he ran into a group of guys selling pot outside the side entrance. They asked him if he wanted a puff, he said "nahh, I’d rather not become a dipshit thanks though." They didn’t think it was too funny. The guy said "Don’t be a bitch, c’mon tha only one’s stoppin’ ya is yaself’. He said "nahh’ i’m good, Really!"

But as he was walking away he heard one of em say " Isn’t that the crazy kid with that blonde bitch, ya know tha one everyne says is a skank." Jeremy turned around and said "What!??" The guy said "Ya you’re the one with that bitch." Jeremy pulled out a pocket knife and they all were carrying so they couldn’t afford to draw attention. He said "Take that back you peace of shit!" Holding the pocket knife up towards him. The guy said "Guess you are crazy. Jeremy Would’nt have stabbed him but he came damn near close.

Jeremy is not one to mess with. He loves Stacey and nothing could take that away from him.

For now.
