Chapter 6
Swimming contest?

Chapter Description: How in the world did this story become about swimming?

"NO NO NO!" Jeremy said. "Whats wrong?" said Stacey? "What are we gunna do about school?" He said. In all the commotion, they both forgot completely about school. "We can’t have some kindergardener going to Highschool." He said. "Do I really look that small she thought. Well what do you suppose we do?" "Oh I know! We can say your Stacey’s little siss..t.er, no? Ok how about... no, uhh, crap! Wait I got it, we could just tell them what happened, well okay we don’t know what happened but we could lie." He kept rambling on. "Or I could just skip school today at least until we find a better solution." She said. "Uhh that could work too." He said.

Jeremy went off to school. Stacey was, for the first time, mind numbingly bored. She turned on the TV and started watching the news. There was a coverage story of a group of people in a black van ubducting teenagers and young adults. She turned up the volume. She said "That’s them. The ones who..." "The ones who what sweetie?" Grandmah said. "Oh nothing." Stacey said. "How bout we go out and do something Stacey dear." Being as bored as she was a little time out of the house would probably do Stacey some good.

They left the house and went to the swimming pool. Stacey didn’t have a swimsuit that fit her anymore, so, she had to go buy one. Later they arived at the pool. Stacey had bought a one peice, not too childish, blue and black swimsuit. As they were swimming one of the lifeguards noticed how well Stacey could swim. Stacey was on the school swim team for Freshmen and Sophomore year. She was the lead swimmer. "Your Granddaughter seems to be an excellent little swimmer." said the beautiful busty probably around 24 or 25 year old female lifeguard.

"Well shes not my... uhh yes she is quite the little prodigy." Said Grandmah. "Have you thought of enrolling her in our Children’s Charity Race. It’s for a really good cause." Said the lifeguard. "Well I would have to ask her about it." Said Grandmah. The the life guard hopped into the pool and stopped Stacey asking if she wanted to be in the race. "Well I’m going to have to decline your request miss uhh what was your name?" The life guard staring in shock as if being talked to by a peer said "Well it would benefit charity and a girl... no, young lady as smart as yourself could see that the more people that come to see the race, the more money the Children’s Charity earns." "Stacey said "Fine, when is this race?" "This Friday, now I’m going to need a parent’s signature on this fill-out form." Stacey responded. "I don’t have any parents."

"Then who takes care of you." Said the Lifeguard. Stacey replied "My boyfrien... uhh my brother Jeremy and my grandmother over there." "Well I’ll just ask your grandmother if she will fill out this form then." She then rand her hand through Stacey’s hair and patted her head. A common tradition from adults to children but to Stacey it was almost insulting. She minded her tounge though and didn’t say a word. She just let out a very fake little childish giggle.

Grandmah signed it and then they changed and left the pool. "Where do you feel like going Stacey, we still have a few hours left before Jeremy gets back." "Well, we could grab a bite to eat." Said Stacey.

Later that afternoon after they had come back home. Jeremy was already at the house. "So where you 2 been?" "The pool." Said Stacey. "What were you doing a pool? Okay dumb question, why were you at a pool?" Said Jeremy. "Well we got to spend time together." Said Grandmah. "Stacey I wanted to talk to you about your cuts healing overnight. Do you think this has something to do with you becoming smaller?" Said Jeremy. "I’m not sure, but it does concern me. I thought about the fact this this physical retrogression may not just be a one time thing. I may still be getting younger. It’s just a theory." Said Stacey. "Well you seem pretty relaxed about it." Said Jeremy. "Well what am I going to do about it. I can’t remeber in full detail the events that conspired that day and I’ve already got alot on my mind."

"Well we need to find who ever did this to you and make those bastards pay."

Suddenly there was a knock on the door and It was the lifeguard. "Mind if I come in?"
