Chapter 9

As they got in the car to go home they stopped at target.

“Why did we stop here?” Drew asked

“Well we need to get some things for when you get younger” Sarah said

“Well how young am I going to get?” Drew asked

“You heard the doctor. You will become two years old.” Sarah said

“How long will I be that age?” Drew asked

“Fifteen years” Sarah answered

“FIFTEEN YEARS” Drew shouted in anger

“Yes and there is nothing you can do about it. So please try to be happy. Your getting a once in a lifetime opportunity here.” Sarah said

“Fine” Drew said

As they got into the store Sarah told Drew to go and look at some toys as she went to get some other things. Drew went and started to look at some toy cars. Something he loved as a child, and he was ashamed to admit it but he still loved them. While Sarah was on the other side of the store picking something out that she knew that Drew wouldn’t love. Diapers. She knew that he would continue to wet his bed and he soon would wet in the day. It was still a week before he would need the diapers for 24/7 but she was still going to get them today. She got a pack of goodnites, some pull-ups and a few packs of diapers. She then went to the pre-order counter and bought some new furniture to go in his new room.

When she was done she went to go and find Drew. She found him still looking at the toy cars. She stood back for a little bit and watched him look at the cars in pure happiness. She knew that she finally had the baby she always wanted. After a while she went up behind him and asked

“Having fun?” Drew just shot around and blushed

“Don’t worry; it’s what little boys do. Would you like me to buy one?” Sarah asked

Drew just blushed and said “That one”

She smiled picked up the pack of cars, and went to the checkout line. Sarah told Drew to look at the candy for a few minutes so he wouldn’t start a scene about the diapers she had picked up.
