Chapter 2
Trouble Brews, Again

Chapter Description: Jaden and Syrus wait for Cumley with no luck. They notice that they seem to be alone on this island.

*********************************Part 2*********************************

Jaden and Syrus waited at the cafiteria for Chumley to arrive until it closed at 8 at night. By now, They were getting worried.

“Do you think something happened to Chumley?” Syrus asked, worried.

“Maybe,” Jaden answered, his optimism not as high as it usually is. “It’s not like Chumley to miss Grilled Cheese Night.”

“Maybe Alexis knows something about this.” Syrus said, pulling out his PDA.

“I’ll ask Bastion.” Jaden said, whipping out his PDA.

Niether Jaden nor Syrus has any luck reaching their friends, another fact that worried them. Baston was excussable, he might be drafting up new dueling therums, but Alexis was always ready for a friendly chat from Jaden or Syrus.

“This is bad, Jay, niether of them are answering.”

“No kidding, lets go do some poking around!” The pair ran out of the cafiteria and went to different parts of the school.

As Jaden approached the forest, a thick fog began to engulf him.

“Huh, this is weird, there was nothing about a fog in the news this morning.” As he wandered aimlessly in the fog, he found himself in a clearing. Before Jaden had a chance to move, a woman appeared from the shadows and declared in an erie, unfeminie voice, “It’s time to duel!”

Syrus rushed to the Duel Academy Card Shack, looking for anyone, even that snob teacher Dr. Crowler.

“Hello, is anyone here?” Syrus asked to thin air. Suddenly, an explosion caught Syrus off guard and he fell to the ground. Awestruck, since Jaden was the only one Syrus knew to be around with him, he got up and ran off into the direction of the expolsion.

“I just hope I’m not too late!”
