A couple regresses a college student ona family trip home for Christmas

Chapter 1
invites

Chapter Description: A family friend invites a girl on a family vacation after she experiences a tragedy in her own family.

It had been almost 7 months since Andrea had lost her parents in a terrible car accident. She was 20 years old and felt like an orphan. Christmas was only a few days away & she was hardly in any mood to celebrate. Her plans were to just stay inside , maybe watch a few movies or even do some homework so she could be ahead when college break was over. Anything to keep her mind over what she had lost & who she was missing this holiday season. As she sat in her room thinking about things when the cell started ringing.

“Hello?”

Andrea’s mother’s good friend Stephanie was on the phone.

“Hi hun, how are you?”

They talked for awhile about a variety of things and then the final subject came up, Stephanie wanted to know what she was doing for Christmas. Of course Andrea thought up a quick answer as fast as she could to throw off the subject.

“I’m spending it with my friends from dorm, the ones who can’t afford to go home to be with their families for Christmas.”

Stephanie saw right through it and told Andrea that she wasn’t about to spend the holiday by herself. She would be thrilled to have her come spend it with Stephanie & her husband Hunter.

“I’m not taking no for an answer!”

There really wasn’t a way of getting around it so Andrea resigned and agreed. Stephanie was thrilled & told her that they would be by to pick her up bright and early in the morning.

“Sleep well, we have an 11 hour drive ahead of us!”

After hanging up the phone, Stephanie turned to Hunter & smiled.

“Get the stuff ready.”
