Chapter 6
Or Not

Chapter Description: Seth goes about his relatively short day in theis relatively short chaper.

Seth spent the next few hours playing video games. Rodger called up and told him he shouldn’t swim without a partner and the computers were down. Seth didn’t mind, he was having too much fun anyway. It was odd, but it seemed the more he played, the more into the games he became. He hadn’t played games this much since his senior year of high school. At almost five o’clock, the intercom declare it to be dinner time, and Seth grudgingly left the games. It was pizza again tonight, but Seth didn’t mind. He found himself craving it for some reason. Maybe because of the video games. As he was wrapping up with his dinner, the screen bleeped on again and told Seth he had another visit to the doctor today. Seth didn’t mind, it wasn’t like he needed shots or anything . .

When Seth got to the nurse’s office, he thought it must have been visiting time. The room was filled with males of almost all ages. There were young boys of about four, teens of about eighteen, and every a small toddler playing with his toes in the corner. The four-year olds were busy playing with blocks while the teen was reading about car insurance. Nothing seemed wrong or out of place to Seth.

“First, please,” The woman called. Seth looked down to see he was seated in seat one.

“Thats me!” Seth said cheerfully, as he got up, all of the other boys stopped what they were doing. They all looked up at him, but no one said anything. Except for the toddler in the back. He resumed playing with his feet, and said in his high-pitched baby voice something that sent shivers down Seth’s spine.

“Bye, bye!”
