Chapter 11
Triumphs

Chapter Description: from Book Two: Submission

monday 25 september – 8:30 AM

A pall had fallen over the town of Maker’s Point. A relentlessly offensive miscarriage of justice had been perpetrated. Fears that Sheriff Brynner’s recall might have been premature assuaged over the populace like a tepid, stale wave. They’d been screwed. Duped. Doomed.

The environment was no less suffocating in the halls of Thomas Tupper High. Steve “Babydick” Benjamin had suddenly developed the flu; the nurse receiving his call of absence had replied with an “I understand,” a wink in her voice.

Local newspapers, which somehow still exist, didn’t even put a blurb into the neighborhood crime beat. The release of the infamous Tigers had been front-page material. Below the fold, true, but since 2017 wasn’t an election year, they worked with what they had.

Facebook groups had been made that were already hundreds of harassed students and concerned parents strong. Massive online petitions had been assembled, some with over 200,000 signatures, to press burglary charges against the Tigers while legalizing marijuana.

Now, Maker’s Point would hardly be the first town on your list of hotspots of civil unrest. That’s why it had been blanketed in an equally toxic mire of rhetoric and hyperbole. In a manner of speaking, the three boys of the Tigers riled up the town less before their arrests.

Through it all, the truth -- and the future extent -- of the situation were known only to Sheriff Brynner and Assistant Principal Benes, and for several reasons of necessity. The fact remained that three children, however vile, however revolting, had been deliberately poisoned by two of highest-ranking authority figures in the community. Lost jobs would be the least of their concerns... there could be probes, slashed budgets, and corruption charges-- let alone those of attempted manslaughter. This reality didn’t serve to improve their moods, either.

And then there were the Tigers, marching through the halls of the high school in an imperfect echelon formation and they were smiling and laughing, clanking and clanging, grabbing their massive cocks through their jeans and hitting on women who had long ago tired of their strut.

Ahh, another fine week in high school. But the Tigers were in for one fuck of a month.
