Clarification about the follwing chapters!

Chapter Description: A short clarification about the chapters to come and how the order came to be.

Hello dear readers,

a little explanation how the „Arrivals in the Maternity Ward” story will continue, especially to those reading it the first time and not knowing of its previous release on Deviantart.

With its main part having ended in (I hope!) a grappling cliffhanger, I admit I was torn between four different ways to finish it. Not wanting to miss the fun of creativity, I decided to write all four “Endings”! They are different but given it all centers around the decision(s) about Stan/Dylan’s future, some might share an opening. Still, I tried to bring a different perspective into each, or sum up a lengthy scene … don’t worry, they still perfectly work as “Endings” of their own, but you might have more fun reading them in order of their release.

Problem solved? Well, I then found they had endings so distinct that they deserve a chapter of their own to shine. So I decided to write a “Bonusending” for each of the “Endings”, hoping to give each scenario the space it deserves. The results have different lengths and at least one a bit of a different style.

To make it a bit of fun and get your opinions – a writer’s greatest reward aside from a ton of money – I made a poll on Deviantart about which “Ending” you liked best. The “Bonusendings” were then released according to their vote count. Ties in alphabetical order. All of them were/will be released though, meaning less tension than releasing only the winner, but still more choice than Dylan … Stan got over the majority of the story! 😉

I decided to honor this poll and those 27 having voted in it here by releasing the Endings followed by their Bonusendings and not as originally first all the Endings and then all the Bonusendings. Less confusion for sure! Just don’t be surprised if an earlier Ending is released first.
