Chapter 15
The Deal

Two Hours Earlier

Wrapping my legs around the chair to stop the brutes dragging me away I tried one last gambit to save my mind. With good options fresh out, it was time put my morals aside for a moment and look after number one. “Elly fucked up Klerk. She’s not trustworthy at all. I can do the same thing as she can, but I can do it better!” I yelled, fighting to stay in the office.

Klerk looked up and though he didn’t look convinced, he did at least look thoughtful. I saw a slim chance and seized it. “Did you know she’s keeping two adult baby boys of her own?”

Klerk’s eyes widened and I knew this was news to him. I had him now. “That’s right Klerk, she’s been keeping some of them from you, maybe even doing her own freelance work on the side, cutting out the middle man so to speak. Is that all cool with you?”

Klerk waved his hand at Jamie and the other brute. “Hold on, let him sit down again,” he ordered.

They released me reluctantly. It was tough to negotiate while naked but I had no other choice. “She didn’t tell you about her own boys did she?” I asked pointedly.

Klerk stamped out his cigarette and leaned back in his seat. “You know I can find out if you’re lying. And if you are…”

“Go ahead and check! I want you to, honestly. She can’t hide those boys if you just show up for a spot check. In fact I’m sure other people know about it, so you can just question them. There’s a policewoman she works with for example. Try her.”

“Even if that’s true, it doesn’t change the fact that she’s our most effective supplier. One error in dozens is regrettable but not fatal… metaphorically speaking of course.”

“But I know her methods mate. I know exactly how she does it so well and I can do it for a quarter of the price.”

“So if you know her methods what is stopping me from say, extracting that info from you and then, how did you put it, cutting out the middle man?” Klerk asked threateningly.

“The same reason you haven’t done that to Elly. I have the links to the AB community that you need. In fact I’m much better connected to it than her. People know me and trust me more than some stranger new to the scene.”

Klerk sniggered. “The same can be said of any of the young men currently creeping naked around that nursery, squirting their stickies on their tummies for all to see and doing their poos in their nappies or the potty chairs if they’re lucky. Why would you be any better than some other AB?”

“Because I’m not like them. I get off on regression and I actually prefer to be the one doing the regressing more than the other way around. That’s why Elly’s treatment didn’t fully work on me, why a little piece of me survived and came back with a vengeance. She picked the wrong guy this time. But for you, I’m just the right guy.”

“For quarter price you say?”

I had a bite. “To start with at least. But I’d never ask for what you’re giving Elly. I’m no fool. I’d work for you, take what I could get and be happy with that.”

I could see Klerk thinking this over, running the numbers in his head. Of course I had no idea what he was paying Elly and he knew that. He could invent whatever sum he wanted and I’d have to take it. I was not in any position to negotiate and that was what made him feel safe in making a deal. Cut costs, replace a disloyal employee with someone terrified to step out of line, it was at least worth considering. And unless I was reading things wrong there was history here I didn’t know. Klerk had jumped at the news of Elly’s disloyalty and I had to assume there was bad blood between them, working in my favour.

“Okay,” Klerk finally replied. “How about this, I’ll give you a little test. If you claim you can really do what Elly does then prove it. You get one shot at this, understand?”

I nodded, knowing it was all I could hope for.

“I have two guests in the middle of their intake session. It usually takes at least a week, sometimes two to get them fully adjusted. I’ll give you two hours. Either they are giggling, playful, naked little toddlers by that time, or you will be.”

I swallowed hard, knowing that was a tall order. There was only one way I could see that working. “Okay, but I’ll need access to a computer and a smartphone,” I told him.

He shook his head. “Computer I can do, but no phones out here, no reception.”

I frowned. “Maybe a TV then, some way I can show them a recorded video.”

“Oh, that’s no issue, we have a projector in the room.”

“Perfect. Oh and get me some clothes please.”

I opened up my phone data on the cloud server and found the latest file uploaded to it. It was nothing I recognised and had to have been uploaded by Elly. I had the feeling that Elly was capable of regressing men much faster than she did. She intentionally drew it out, savouring their slow reductions in mental abilities. I suspected it because I’d do the same thing if it were me. But there was no time for savouring it now, I had a deadline that couldn’t be missed.

With that ready and finally changed into a t-shirt and shorts with normal underwear I was finally prepared to make my move. There was only one more issue to deal with and luckily Klerk had a solution for that as well. I just had to hope I could pull it off.

**

Klerk surveyed the scene with a look of supreme satisfaction. Steven’s onesie was abandoned on the floor beside John’s now. Both young men were squatting naked on the floor, side by side, exploring each other’s toes with wide eyed awe. If their eagerness to get naked wasn’t proof enough, their relaxed faces and bright curious eyes as they pulled at one another’s toes confirmed my success. I had passed his test, now I could only hope he held up his end of the bargain. I dropped down before the two men and said, “Okay boys, time to go to the nursery. Doesn’t that sound fun?!”

Two huge smiles beamed back at me. “Go nus-wee!” Steven echoed, standing up for me.

“I got feets,” Johnny announced as he stood, pointing down at them in case I didn’t know where they were.

“I know, they are amazing eh? Okay, let Jamie take your hands and you get to meet lots of new friends.”

I watched them accept and walk from the room, pale bottoms bouncing along as they toddled. Soon they’d be as tanned as their arms and legs. But I couldn’t think about that now, I had other worries. Klerk was still studying me carefully. I assumed he’d never thought I could actually do it and now that I had, he wasn’t sure how to proceed.

“That was quite amazing Mr La Fleur,” Klerk finally admitted. “I have to say, you surprised me.”

I noted the use of my surname. Feeling a bit safer I began to carefully remove the contacts Klerk had given me. They’d made everything look red, including the all the colours on the screen. All I’d seen was a red blur, not the hypnotic combination of colours that entranced John and Steven. Taking them out finally restored the colours of the world.

“And I have to admit I was surprised your contacts actually worked,” I told him. I’d actually been pretty sure they were a ruse and he was just using them to trick me into watching the special programming once again. It had been a very pleasant surprise when I looked into the screen and felt nothing.

“We’ve used a similar type of programme in the past, though obviously not nearly as effective as yours. In any case we needed our employees to be able to enter a room during programming without falling into a trance themselves.”

“I understand. But can I ask, are all your employees partially regressed? I noticed even that monstrously large man who helped Jamie yank me out of my seat earlier was in his bare feet. I didn’t hear him speak much but I did wonder.”

Klerk nodded. “Yes, all the employees here have been subjected to partial programming, though it can always be reversed when they leave. I like to put them at a ten to twelve year old level. Bare feet reinforces their status as children, helps keep them in the right mind-set. If they ever start to forget who is in charge they only need to look at my big manly boots and then at their bare little toes and they quickly remember their place.”

“But that’s just for the carers here?” I asked nervously.

Another nod. “Not to worry Mr La Fleur, we’re not going to be subjecting you to any more programming. We have business to talk about now.”

“Excellent,” I said with some relief. “Now, as for business, money isn’t really that important to me,” I explained. Seeing the look of surprise on his face I elaborated. “Regressing those men just now was the most exciting experience of my life. You talked about giving people their ultimate fantasy. Well for me, that was it. I’m happy to continue on for you.”

Klerk nodded in understanding. He knew quite well what I was talking about even if he didn’t get the same thrill from it I did. “So then we don’t have much to discuss?” he checked.

“Not exactly.” I paused and thought hard about what I was about to say. Finally I looked Klerk in the eye and said, “I’m happy to work for you, but first there is one thing you need to do for me.”
