The Video Game Addict – Part 3

Dear Anne,

It was such a wonderful surprise to see you at my book signing today! Thank you so much for coming, I really enjoyed meeting you in person. My life has changed completely since I signed that seven figure book deal. The grand house by the lake, flying first class around the world, recognition by top critics, a movie contract in the works – it’s like a dream come true!

But the best part of it all is my beloved Nicky, the light of my life. Wasn’t he simply adorable in that Breton sailor outfit with the captain’s hat? I’ve bought an entire wardrobe of clothes for my little angel, and can’t get enough of dressing him up & tousling his gorgeous golden curls.

His elementary school teacher keeps telling me how sweet and obedient he is in class, and I couldn’t agree more. Just last week, he surprised me with an exquisitely folded paper rose with “Werlds Best Mommie” scrawled on the side. And with his newfound passion for cooking, we now regularly bake chocolate chip cookies together and share them with lots of cuddles, hugs and kisses. The only things he seems terrified of are video games and TV sets, which is just fine with me.

I’m working on a memoir about the joys and wonders of motherhood, which I plan on calling “Raising Nicky”. I’ll be sure to send you an advance copy, and thank you again for everything you’ve done.
