Detention

Lilith is a witch who teaches at a local community college. Her students are lazy but magic is a taboo, so she must come up with her own solutions.

Chapter 1
An unexpected solution to the problem

Chapter Description: Kevin is a student in Lilith's class. He is very intelligent, but does not wish to put forth any effort and happens to be one of Lilith's worst problems.

“Lilith, you have got to do something about your class. Your students are failing and there have been many complaints about your teaching methods.” Eric told her. Lilith was a college professor for a physics class at a local community college. Everyone knew that the students were slackers, but it was up to the professors there to find the link to get their students excited about the curriculum. The problem with Lilith’s classes was that she couldn’t seem to appeal to any of her students.

Lilith was pissed. All her students were failing her class, which wasn’t even the worst of it. Her more manipulative students who knew how to work the system were filing complaints about her teaching procedures. Even though she had represented herself well at every board she had, her reputation as a professor was dwindling and even the other staff started to look down on her. She understood full well that this was typical college student behavior, but if it continued on for too long it would cost her the job, as they would eventually find someone ’more qualified’ than she.

“Eric, I’ve told you before, none of them are putting forth any effort to learn, hell, this might as well be another high school class. You may sit in on my lectures if you think you can give me suggestions on what I could be doing to get them all more motivated, but I swear that’s what student counseling is for.” Lilith snapped back. As her reputation dwindled she was losing friends and allies and it seemed as though more and more of the staff were having doubts about her abilities, even though many of them have sat in on her lectures without leaving any words of advice, other than to find a way to appeal to the students’ intrigue for the subject.

“Lilith, the problem is that you are unable to connect with the student body and you are losing their attention and respect for that. Even most of our colleagues don’t see eye to eye with you anymore.” Eric replied. It seemed as though she was losing Eric’s vote of confidence as well. The most frustrating aspect of this job was the politics. None of the students wanted to cooperate and the only professors the college kept were the ones whose students passed the classes. For most of the instructors this meant giving them good grades, not for Lilith though. Her students had to work for the results.

“Eric, we are talking about college, not high school.” Lilith responded “These bums don’t spend any time reviewing the material and their grades suffer as a result.” Lilith continued, “My reputation as an instructor here means a lot to me, but having my recommendations for these students meaning shit outside this institution would be very insulting to me.”

“Whatever, professor, just make sure at least a few of your students pass this time. You could get laid off if you can’t turn out good results. Well, I guess I’m done here.” Eric walked off. Lilith bit her tongue as she slowly headed towards her next class. She hated losing her allies like this, but her love of knowledge greatly outweighed her desire to keep this job, which had been a pain to find.

Lilith was six feet tall and in good shape. She had the appearance of being 30 years of age. She went running whenever she had the time for it. Her hair was long and jet-black. All of her physical features would tell any passersby that she was a witch, that is, if they bothered to pay attention. The truth is that she really was a witch. Due to an oath her coven made centuries back, she kept it concealed. As technology progressed it was becoming harder and harder to maintain secrecy and spells were forbidden. If anyone blew their cover then there would be witch hunts all over again. Again, technology posed a more serious threat than it did a few hundred years ago. The last known execution of a coven was held in Salem, for which Lilith was grateful to have not been present. In spite of the vow, witches would use magic in secret in dire circumstances. They had all covenanted that they would live as ordinary humans for the rest of their lives and that if they got news of one of their sisters using magic, then the whole coven would execute the caster since public exposure meant severe consequences. Lilith knew that if any witch got caught using magic by her coven, then she would receive a swift execution by said group. Since witches do not age beyond thirty, she constantly had to relocate and get a new job after a few years of dwelling in one location. She had only cast a couple spells over the last sixty years to help her out of a few tight spots, but she thought that was really pushing her luck as it was. Her classes were really pushing her to her limit though and if something didn‘t change soon she would either have to resort to the use of magic again or start looking for a new job, and with the politics at her college she didn‘t have time for that.

Two weeks later, during a slightly chilly day in the month of October, Lilith found herself jogging. She contemplated what she should do with regards to her class. As she pondered possible solutions during her run, her thoughts were interrupted by one of her students, Kevin. Kevin was by far the worst of her students, he was easily smart enough to do very well in the class without trying very hard at all, but the problem was that he didn’t try at all, in fact, Lilith was under the impression that Kevin wanted her classes to fail since he was extremely disruptive during class. The worst of it was that he happened to be the most manipulative student she had. Her reputation outweighed his in the school, but just barely… everyone knew Kevin to be a smart guy who could talk himself out of any situation and he seemed to be making friends with everyone, everyone but teachers who failed him, that is. Those professors tended to not last very long at the college after he joined their respective classes.

"Hey, Lilith, what are we going to learn today?" Kevin probed. He had a syllabus which accounted for every day of the class, but he insisted on picking her brain during her break anyway. Lilith did not want to talk to Kevin even during class, having her respite interrupted by him while she was on break was sheer torture.

"Kevin, your syllabus has the lesson plan for today. I suggest you read it. You are also weeks behind on your homework assignments, which you should be grateful that I am still willing to accept. Now please, for the love of God, I am on break right now!" With this she sped off, surprising Kevin, who was on the track team and considered to be one of the fastest sprinters.

"YOU’RE TEACHING SUCKS AND I CAN’T DO THE HOMEWORK BASED ON POOR TEACHING METHODS!" Kevin called after her.

Lilith had no idea what she was supposed to do about the class. They figured that if they all looked like they were struggling then they would be able to make the higher ups force her into giving easier tests and assignments, which as a teacher she could not bring herself to do. The idea was for the students to push the boundaries of knowledge beyond high school and into the real world, not to recite what some of them had learned back in eighth grade. She sighed as she finished up her three mile jog and headed toward the gym, where she would shower before class.

***

Today class was terrible. Lilith was trying to explain the different properties of light, and she still had a lot of students who were confusing reflection with refraction. Kevin and his merry band of pals weren’t helping out the situation either, calling out wrong answers to the questions before she could respond. She desperately wanted to kick Kevin out of the class, but knew that he would find a way to retaliate. He was by far ten times worse than his cronies.

At the end of the class Kevin insisted on staying behind for a little extra ’help’. Lilith didn’t know what that guy was plotting, but she didn’t like where this was going, as it would just be the two of them left in the room. As the last of the students left the room, Lilith realized she had probably better think of a way out before this got ugly.

"What kind of name is Lilith?" Kevin snickered. Lilith had kept her name just because she figured it would make her less approachable so she could avoid trouble like the situation she was currently in, not that Kevin needed to know that. She had changed her last name several times over the last few centuries, but her name Lilith was her original name and it was precious to her.

"My parents were hippies and got a little creative when choosing my name," she replied. She hoped he’d just drop it and possibly ask her something that would give aid to the performance of the entire class, even though the odds weren’t exactly stacked in her favor. She really dreaded the thought of having to use magic and risk exposure. ‘Cleanup’, as she called it, was very tough work. She had to erase any evidence of her spell-casting, which was not an easy task. Lesser witches who failed to realize the importance of this had already met their end a few years back, when video cameras were widely distributed. She was even called upon to perform a few of the executions herself. She didn’t know how many witches were left in the states, but she knew if anyone witnessed any traces of this spell she felt she was going to have to cast, she would probably be the next to go.

"Lilith is an evil name, in fact it sounds like a witch name to me." Kevin said. The guy was beginning to sound like he was getting somewhat horny. Lilith knew she had to get out of there, but her reputation would decrease even more if her bosses heard she’d left a student during a tutoring session, which would be the word Kevin would spread, if he couldn‘t come up with anything worse to say about her.

"Well, I guess if I were a witch, you had best not step on my toes," Lilith responded, she hoped that by being somewhat silly about the situation she’d not end up giving herself away. "I could turn you into a toad." She knew this situation was going too far. She had no idea how she was going to get herself out of this mess since this particular class was an evening class and most of the faculty and students had already left the building, in fact, by this time in the evening there were usually less than ten people left in the building. If this was intended to intimidate her about his grades, it was definitely not going to work.

Kevin moved in closer. "Well, let’s see you try," he said. This guy sounded more and more horny. Lilith got up to leave, saying “Good luck with the material. I have to go home and start grading stuff.”

Kevin threw one of the glass lenses that Lilith had used as part of her demonstration right in front of her toes. It shattered at her feet. This startled her. Even though she had access to magic, it would be far too risky to cast a spell. If Kevin witnessed it, he would surely tell everyone about it, which would endanger her coven. The punishment for that was far worse than death itself.

"I don’t recall you having any papers to grade," Kevin laughed, "nobody in this class does any work, or in any of the other classes. You don’t HAVE anything to grade," he continued, as he moved in closer. At this point Lilith knew security would probably have to be her best bet, but Kevin dashed for the door and shut it, leaving her trapped inside. She trembled as he stood guard over the door, crossing his arms.

"Kevin, you are really acting out of line. I’m supposed to report this kind of behavior, but if you let me out then I can forget this whole thing ever-" he cut her off by throwing another glass lens at her feet. As the glass shattered she flinched. Lilith was getting very frightened. Her last cleanup had almost failed, but she would not walk out of this battle unscathed if she couldn’t do something more than hold her ground as she was currently doing.

"Shut up, bitch. I’m calling the shots tonight," Kevin declared as he ripped off his shirt. Kevin was completely ripped, and even though Lilith was in fairly good shape herself, Kevin would definitely win if they started wrestling. Lilith really wished she had a way to contact someone. She always left her cell phone in her car since she wanted to try the ‘good example’ trick, but in this case it really came back to haunt her. The only option she had left, other than getting raped, stripping her of her dignity, pride, and what was left of her reputation was to use magic. She knew that if anyone from the coven got wind of it at all, she’d definitely get killed. No one was willing to risk anything for exposure these days, not even for the sake of another sister. She made up her mind. She would break the taboo in order to remove herself from this mess.

“I CHALLENGE NATURE TO CONJURE MY WITCH’S SOUL!!!” With that there was a blinding flash of white light. Kevin would not remember this moment since magic was too complex for mere mortals to perceive, so his senses were temporarily disabled. Lilith used this opportunity to cast her spell. As the light receded, Kevin’s senses returned to him. Lilith didn’t look so frightened anymore, in fact, it looked to Kevin as though Lilith was getting horny too.

"Oh, Kevin, that’s not how you treat a woman, now is it?" asked Lilith, sounding very seductive. "I can tell my big, strong man has had the hots for me for a very long time now, I suppose I have kept him waiting long enough." Kevin stared at Lilith in disbelief. Yes, he was going to rape her, and yes, he was enjoying himself, but now he felt very intrigued. He supposed at this point he might as well use this opportunity to have some fun then he would use the dirt on her after he altered the footage on the video camera. Studying was for losers and he was going to pass this class no matter what.

"Alright, well, professor, I suggest you instruct me on how to treat a woman." Kevin replied, moving closer. Lilith tore off her shirt as he was moving in.

"Well, first my big, strong man needs his milk! Men don’t get big and strong without their milk!" Lilith told him. Kevin was really turned on by this and thought that perhaps it was her way of getting into it. He figured he’d go along with it. Lilith grasped his head in her hands and guided it towards her boobs. "Start sucking, big boy." Kevin felt a little ridiculous, but there’s always a first time for everything and he might actually enjoy this.

Kevin never had such an experience in all his life! No drunken stupor or high he’d ever had compared to this. He closed his eyes and savored her sweet nectar for the next few minutes. After a few minutes something didn’t feel right, but he didn’t care. This was, by far, the beginnings of the best sex he had ever experienced. He wasn’t going to let anything ruin it for him. Twenty minutes after he started suckling, Lilith told him, "Alright, all done, sweetie. Time to switch sides."

Kevin opened his eyes. Something was terribly wrong. He wasn’t standing at all. He was being held in the crook of Lilith‘s arm as she knelt on the floor. She had somehow tricked him! Even worse was that he barely even noticed the transition from standing to where Lilith scooped him up. He noticed he still had his mind and could probably talk if he’d tried. To his dismay, he realized his vocal cords were not developed enough for him to speak. He was too young. All he could do was stare at Lilith in horror.

Lilith set Kevin down on one of the desks. During his moments of confusion at how this had happened, Lilith turned his backpack into a diaper bag, complete with every baby accessory she’d need for him to last her throughout the week and had conjured up a car seat. As she unfolded a diaper for him she raised his legs and spoke to him. “Kevin, you didn’t quite hit the nail on the head. I am a witch, but it is a severe taboo to use magic outside of a coven gathering. The only way in which a witch gets by with using magic is to erase all traces of the spell she cast, which in this case, I will have to come up with a story for why Kevin disappeared and why I happened to adopt a newborn baby. If any of my sisters find out about you I will then have to explain why I am raising a mortal child. I don’t even get to start on all that until I make sure there were no witnesses and modify the footage on the video cameras. You have put me in a very tough spot.”

Kevin started whimpering. He had always been able to talk his way in or out of any situation and now he couldn’t even do that anymore. He wanted to somehow put this right by calling in someone and convincing them that Lilith was a danger to them all. Lilith taped him and raised him to her other nipple.

“Kevin, the spell I cast caused me to lactate and gave the breast you just drank from the ability to cause physical regression. This one causes mental regression.” Kevin started crying as he started suckling and his identity slowly slipped away. Now justice would never come to this bitch and passing her class was now the least of his worries.

***

Lilith had to act fast. Soon the school would close for the night and if anyone saw the video footage then she was doomed unless she could discover who had witnessed and could erase their memory of the incident, which would cost casting another spell. She made her way to the security office, where she was met by Frank, the security officer, who, thankfully, was just returning from one of his many recent smoke breaks.

“Frank, that really wreaks,” Lilith told him. She had her school bag over one shoulder, the diaper bag over the other, and was carrying the handle of baby Kevin’s car seat in her arms. “Smoking will kill you someday.”

“I didn’t see you walk in with a baby, Lilith. Whose kid is that?” Frank asked. He hated it when people got on to him about his smoking habits.

“My sister dropped him off. I don’t have time for this, honestly. I love little Kevin here though, so I guess it’s alright.” Lilith needed to hurry. There was so much she had to do before she could even think about adjusting to her life as a mother. She could set Kevin up for adoption, but the paperwork for that was too intense for it to ever fit her schedule, but on the other hand she had no idea how she would adjust either.

“Oh, ok, but what brings you here? Your car is on the other side of the building.” Frank asked. Lilith had to find a way to get in there and alter the tapes, preferably without Frank’s presence.

“One of my students complained that his wallet was missing. Since I think I know who it was I just wanted to check the tapes and see if I can be of help to him since everyone’s telling me how I need to do a better job of ‘connecting with the students’.”

“Oh, well, I suppose I could let you in for that. Just close the door when you’re done. I’m locking up for the night.” Frank left to go close up for the night.

Lilith checked all the tapes and found the footage she was looking for. Nobody she saw on the tapes had noticed the light, so all she had to do was edit the unwanted footage. “I CHALLENGE NATURE TO CONJURE MY WITCH’S SOUL!!!” With that, Lilith altered the footage. She had no guarantee of knowing there were absolutely no witnesses, but this was the best she could do. She grabbed the sleeping baby Kevin and everything else, then she started to head out. She ran into Frank on her way out and thanked him for his assistance. The student she was inquiring about had just misplaced his wallet was the story she came up with.

Lilith carried baby Kevin out to her car. She strapped Kevin in in the back seat. She was going to go buy a crib for the little tyke she‘d acquired before she went home.

***

Four weeks after Kevin’s incident, Lilith’s life turned out to be a lot better. Her students were finally starting to show interest in the material and some had even pulled up their grades to passing. Since students were allowed to bring their kids to class, Lilith was able to convince her bosses to allow her to bring Kevin to class, since he was too young for daycare. She figured that if Kevin were to be exposed to education from an early enough age, he might care about it more in later years. In five to seven years she’d probably have to cast another spell so that Kevin would perceive that she was aging, but she didn’t want to worry about that right now. She had taken care of cleaning up the evidence of her spell and hopefully nobody from the coven would learn of her spell casting. She hoped that her spell she cast would not come back to haunt her. She didn’t really like what she had to do to Kevin, but he definitely deserved the detention.
