Chapter Description: Many of us wish to go back to a simpler time, but do we accept the possible sacrifices that come with it? Do you?

Do you?

Do you still remember seeing the world through the eyes of a child? Do you? Are you truly sure that you wish to return to such a time, to give up what you have now in order to go back to believing in everything and knowing nothing at all? To going back to innocence?

Do you?

Do you see a stranger looking back at you when you look in the mirror, do you wonder where your heart has gone? Is the sun no longer warm on your back?

So many questions, I know, but does any of that ring a bell with you? Does your heart yearn to return to a simpler time where adult responsibilities were of no concern and time seemed to pass by slowly as the days were ones filled with play and exploration? If you were lucky to have such days anyway the first time round.

Do you?

Do you even remember what was before what you live now? Did you even live a life before now that was a happy one?

These are all questions that have to be asked because what you seek comes with it’s own price that is far more than money. You wish to give up everything for something that may be little more than hazy recollections lost in the mists of becoming an adult and the haze of the years that lead to who you are now.

I ask them because I need people to be truly sure about what they are asking for, sacrifices have to be made and you have to ask yourself if you are willing to make those sacrifices. Once it is done you will have to grow up again, it can’t be reversed beyond that.

So are you sure about this? Do you understand what you will lose?

Many of us have to make sacrifices in life to achieve our goals, some resorting to harming others in order to have what they deem as their right. Doing this does have it’s own potential harm to others, how would they react to you going back to who you were and who you are now no longer existing?

You have to ask yourself that, this is not a snap decision to make lightly.

I can do it easily, yes, but you have to be sure if it’s what you really want and won’t regret it. Because if you are sure then I can and will do it now, but please be sure if this is truly what you want and need.
