Character Desc:

Marissa: Light brown hair, green eyes,freckles, average weight. Is nice to everyone until you piss her off.

Jacob: Black hair, brown eyes, freckles, average weight. Is humorous at sometimes, when he is, it fucking hilarious.

Cameren: Brown hair, Green eyes, average weight. Gets my form of humor, like seriously, only person who gets my jokes.

Jostlen: Dark brown hair, dark aqua eyes, REALLY tall. Is pretty much my Bff, I can tell her any secret, ya know.

Gage: Dark brown hair, blue eyes, average weight. Kinda sassy when you think about it..., but Cameren’s best friend.

Kellen: Light brown hair, brown eyes, average weight, smarter than you think. Hmm, definintly into cop and detective stuff.

I’m Marissa, it was just a regular day at middle school... until after lunch that is.

We usually just line up after lunch, we did today of course. Going back to class... A different story.

I heard a loud yell down the hallway, then a bunch of my peers running out of the school! As Kellen passed me he told me just to come quick. I said "Wait What?!?!?" as I ran twards the familiar scream. I even see my teacher from the navy running away! As I closed in on the area where the screech came from, to my surprise I came to see my friend Jacob on the ground beaten up and bruised. I looked across me and saw my other friend Cameren(Yes it is spelled like that).

Cameren said "We need to get him treated and to the nurses office!". "Okay" so I dragged Jacob, and Cameren helped me get him to the nurses office.

Me and Cameren walked around campus and checked even the high school, all we found was this creepy kid whispering something like "Stay away from the info tech teacher" over and over and over again.I just walked away from him slowly...

We went to go check in on Jacob again. We waited a couple of minutes, but he finally regained consiousness. "Wha-How did I get in the nurses office?" He said confused. So I explained what happened to him and he remembered something. He said that "All I remember is the info tech teacher having a weird power source, broken test tubes, and a bright light."

We saw a figure approaching the school in the snow... We hid in the nurses office until we knew who it was. Turns out it was Kellen. I walked over and slapped that boy accross the face because he was being a total nubcake by just running away like that. He explained that he was just startled by the bright light and boom that he heard and saw at that moment.

I was confused too, what DID exactly happen back there... We heard another loud noise in the hall. Me and Kellen ran to go check what it was but it was just some weird empty test tube on the ground...

I went over and picked it up and smelled what was inside... It smelled like chloroform(according to Kellen) He said "This chemical could easily knock someone out in seconds if inhaled." But why was it there? Did someone come tward here expecting to come knock us out but dropped the test tube?

Cameren said we should probably go into Mr.Duff’s room and think a while about what happend. When I stepped into the classroom I saw a friend sitting on the table. I screamed out with joy "Oh my god, Heeeeeeey Jostlen!" She said "I don’t know how I got here but its good to see ya anyways." "Jostlen, you should probably stay here, plus we need another person to help us." I said seriously.

So Jostlen decided to travel with us to figure out what was going on. Jostlen went over to get a drink from the drinking fountain in the hall while we talked about where we should go next in the classroom. I heard a scream from her and we all ran down the hall at top speed. She said that "A red liquid came out of the fountain... I-i think it was blood." Everyone gasped...

I felt someone touch my shoulder, I turned around and saw that creepy kid."What the-WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?!?!? I ended up punching him in the face but he still stayed around. He said his name is Keith "No need to tell me who you are." he said in a mysterious voice.

As we searched the halls we noticed the creepy kid left and we were all walking down the hall without any guildence. We found this loose brick in the wall and pulled it out. "They’re are 2 buttons one being a regular button and one being a shirt button and a sign that says "Press One" Jacob said. Kellen said calmly "What could go wrong?" as he pressed the shirt button. Surprisingly he was right a place in the wall opened. Jacob walked in first, he figured out that it was just a dead end and nothing out of the ordinary about the bricks either. As we turned around something weird happend...

Jacob stopped in place, fell on the ground, and was cringing in pain. I yelled "Jacob? Jacob are you ok?!" Then a light surrounded Jacob, it was blinding, but surprisingly beautiful. Out of nowhere he dissappeared! Jostlen said "Wh-where’d he go?!" We looked at the wall and there was red, blood-written letters on the wall they said "Come with me and you will see your friend once again." so from the clue, I got that we should go to the info tech class room.

When we entered the room, it wasn’t the computer filled room I knew... The room was glowing white and was WAY too steril for comfort. Cameren noticed a 5 year old boy in the middle of the floor and said "Why does that boy have over-sized clothes?" I said "We should probably take this boy back to the nurses office..."

So we all sat there and waited for the little boy to wake up. Jostlen whispered "Shhh he is waking up." The little boy just sat there and said "Did I pass out again?" Kellen questioned "What do you mean AGAIN? Who are you kid?" The little boy reacted like this " Did you guys get memory loss or something? It’s me Jacob, DUH." "Now listen kid I dont know what you’re trying to pull, but our friend dissappeared right before our eyes a while ago!" I said angrily. He said " Marissa you must’ve lost it. It IS ME Jacob!" Cameren got a good look at the boys face and realized something " Marissa look at this kids face, doesn’t it the slightest bit look like Jacob’s?!" I had a shock of realization "H-he accually does..."

"Why do you keep saying "boy" like I am younger than you guys?" Jacob said with hesitation "That’s because you are..." I grabbed a hand mirror and held it up to him as he looked in disbelief at his 5 year old self. Jacob yelled "What the fuck happend to me?!?!?!?!?!" Jostlen remembered the thing that started this "Remember that beam that hit you earlier? The one that hurt you? "Mhm, what about it?" Jacob questioned, not used to this voice. "Well maybe it only had effect now." said Jostlen feeling right...

"Don’t worry Jacob! We will get you back to normal, no matter what!" I said with fire in my eyes. Jacob said sadly "Oh really how... and when my parents see this they will have a heart attack, not to mention all of the test scientist will run on me to even see how this is physically possible!" Cameren said with the most serious look on his face "The thing is, I haven’t seen anyone around for miles..."

"It is hard to belief someone like Mr.Young would do this." said Kellen while staring off. "I know this isn’t time for it but he DID make Jacob physically younger, his name is Mr.YOUNG." I said not really wanting to make a pun, a very bad one at that. "Well we should probably look around the high school, maybe something about the test tubes might be in the lab." Jacob said with a spark of hope.

So we all walked over to the high school, we went into the lab to find a surprise, once again... "Huh what are you doing here?" I said as I stared at the creepy kid that accually doesn’t look so creepy anymore, oh yeah Keith was his name. "Well I am your guide, I came to help of course." he said confidently. "Umm, Ok" I said making it akward. Jacob said angrily "Lets just get on with the search!" It was kinda hard to take him seriously because of his small structure and high voice.

I picked Jacob up and put him on my shoulders "C’mon pint-size" I said slightly joking. He REALLY started getting mad "PUT ME THE FUCK DOWN!!!" he yelled. I put him down as I said "Fine if you don’t wanna free ride." I said while laughing.

We all looked around the lab for empty test tubes, there was all weird types of chemicals and elements gone. Jostlen also noticed something gone "Well I found the way they made chloroform..." she said looking down at all the chemicals used.

Kellen went around and accually noticed that they even had radioactive elements "I am not exactly sure if these are allowed at school..." "They’re not, god knows why they’re here." Jacob said a little worried. "Do you think..." I saw a formula on a messy table and I started mixing the chemicals on there. "Umm whatcha doing Marissa?" Cameren said a little confused. As I mixed the final chemicals I needed a human test subject...

"Who would like to be tested on?" I said looking around. Cameren raised his hand slowly not sure if he should do this. "Uh I guess I will." I had him sit on the table while I poured some of the substance on his head. "Marissa! STOP IT BURNS!!!" Cameren screamed as I stopped pouring.

We stood looking at Cameren shrink before our eyes. Kellen looked in disbelief at the 7 year old in front of him. " Whoa Cameren, are you okay?" Cameren said without worry "Yeah i’m fine just a little energized than usual though!" He slapped his mouth as soon as he heard his voice. "Wha-what happend to me?!" Cameren said in panic. "Cameren dont worry! We will get you back to normal as soon as we find an antidote!" I said with once again with fire in my eyes.

Jostlen noticed something off "Cameren is a 7 year old and Jacob is 5, did Mr.Young use a different amount or a more concentrated amount on Jacob?" "Probably both or something" Cameren said probably being right.

Keith said ignoring logic but may be right "Well maybe if we get all of the ingredients that are the oppisite of the ones in the youth compound or "potion" if you will." Jacob said finishing the rest "We can make a aging potion?" Keith had a puzzled look "Maybe. worth a try."

Jostlen and Kellen agreed to stay behind and mess around with the elements and mixing them.(Note: By the way, we are 6th graders, not just your average ones.)

"Well I have absolutely NO IDEA where to go next..." I said being honest. We walked around for hours getting little to none clues on what to do. "Marissa I’m tired, let’s go see how Kellen and Jostlen are doing." Jacob said like a true 5 year old. "Heh, atleast I am older than Jacob." Cameren said rubbing it in. "Shuddap!" Jacob said angrily.

We all walked back to the lab and saw our two friends in lab coats and safety goggles. "Weeeeeeeeee’re done!" Jostlen said with a melodious voice. I watched as Jostlen poured it on Jacob’s head and we watched him grow back to his normal self, he grew even further into a 21 year old! "Well I can tell you I feel better." Jacob said in of course a deep voice. Right away I grabbed some leftover youth compound and poured it on him. I watched him come down to normal size again.

"It feels better to fit in my clothes again!" Jacob said with relief. I hugged him tightly and whispered to him "Thank goodness", he blushed a lot after that. Now it was Cameren’s turn, this time we estimated an amount and we we’re right (as usual :P).

Note: Yes, I did just use an emoticon, if you have a problem with it then fine, see if I care, carry on with reading now.

"One problem... Mr.Young is still here." Keith said in an EXTREMELY serious tone. "Maybe we should walk into town, we might find something out there, Mr.Young couldn’t just be traveling in the school, right? Jostlen said sure of herself. "I guess, maybe we can also something to travel IN." Kellen said as he looked at the "too" convenient placed golfcart in the field.

"No way, that golfcart wasn’t there before, it might be a trap placed by Mr.Young." Jacob said, and I agreed. "Well it’s worth a try, hmm?" Cameren said not wanting to walk around the whole day. "Well I have a better idea" Keith said as he pulled out something that looked like a gun. "Oh no..." I said latching on to the nearest person, in my case Jacob.

"Now, I was sent by Mr.Young to shoot all of you with this, and to make sure you couldn’t make anymore potions." Keith said confidently. He shot Jacob, Cameren and Kellen, he was aiming for the males of the group. Jostlen was behind him with a broken part of a glass beaker, she stabbed him to death with it. "Uhhh It is harder to talk, dis isn’t good." Jacob said being about 3 or 4 years old. Cameren seemed to be 6, Kellen, he was about 5. "Great, we have to babysit..." I said with no hope at all. "Don’t worry Marissa, you can use the elements to make a compound and turn us back to normal, right?" Kellen said with an unsure smile.

"That is just the problem, we are out of the things we need, you can’t just GET liquid cobalt you know, or uranium, this is dangerous stuff to deal with." I said enraged. "Well this is really great, I’m stuck like this until we get some crap we can only get in an industrial lab." Jacob said while hanging his head, he didn’t even bother to move since he was shot. "Well I don’t know where to go for leads, well we should atleast head to the golfcart." Cameren said, not liking the sound of his voice. "Yeah, we need to head around town. Too bad Keith turnedout to be evil, he was kinda cute." Jostlen said lovestruck and dissapointed.

So we walked out to the golfcart to find someone sleeping in the back, Gage. "Wha- its Gage" Kellen said with disbelief of what his own eyes were seeing. "Wake UP!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. "Huh WHA, where am I?! Oh Hey Marissa, hey Jostlen." Gage said not knowing what to think. "Hey Gage, what are you doing here?" Jacob said inquizitively. "Huh, who are these three little guys?" Gage asked. "Well Gage, this one is Jacob, this is Cameren, this is Kellen..." Jostlen said knowing he wouldn’t believe it. Gage just stood there examining them for a while.

"You gotta be kidding, but they do look like em’ though." Gage said joking around. "Gage, I. AM. JACOB. To prove it... you told me and me only that you like Kylee." Jacob barked. "HOLY SHIT, you ARE Jacob, and I guess you’re not lying about the rest of em’." Gage said surprised, like all of us were when we knew.

"What happend to you guys?!" Gage said very confused, well of course. So we explained everthing to him, it was hard to believe, but we had proof. Well anyway, we didn’t really have much options, so we hopped in the golfcart. "I will drive, I am the tallest!" Jostlen said exitedly.

Note: Marissa(Me), Jostlen, Jacob, Cameren, Kellen, and Gage, not to mention Mr.Young are all real poeple, not Keith though, I might as well tell you. Oh yeah, and Jostlen is indeed taller than the rest of the group.

We went to take a break, we stopped at a Wal-Mart, yeah, a Wal-Mart. We needed to grab some stuff so we split into groups; Jacob and Me, Cameren and Gage, finally Jostlen and Kellen. Well I guess I should make a different paragraph for each groups converation, why the hell not?

"Hey Jacob, I wanted to tell you something." I said not sure if I should say. "Hmm?" Jacob hummed. "Well, um, if you never turn back... I just wanted you to know... I like you, I mean I like like you." I said as fast as possible. "I like you too Marissa... I didn’t know you liked me back, well it’s not like I can date you in this body though." Jacob said, once again blushing. I fell to my knees, I thought to myself "What if he never turns back?". "Marissa, what’s wrong?" Jacob said worried. I grabbed him and held him as tightly as I can, I cried onto his shoulder, all he did was hug back...

"Well, Kellen, what do you think we need?" Jostlen said without a care in the world. "I made a list, always good to stay prepared." Kellen said back. "Wow, you’re too prepared, just go with the flow, you don’t NEED the list." Jostlen said still sounding care-free. "Ugh, whatever." Kellen didn’t really pay attention to Jostlen. Well, this is all for their paragraph, they don’t talk about any importaint stuff as you can see...

"Cameren, I notice this just now but, that youth compound... Isn’t it the key to immortality?" Gage said realizing it is much more than it seems. "Well, yeah, I never thought of it that way, but I am sure as hell NOT gunna relive being this age, I just wanna live a normal life, y’know?" Cameren said. Well, after we went searching for all this stuff, we found most of it of course, but we were also out of gas...

We all met up at the front of the Wal-Mart, I pulled up 3 bikes all with big baskets on the front. I explained that in our groups we can split up and put the little ones in the baskets. Everyone agreed accept for Jacob, who didn’t want to feel that small, well too bad for him.

"Jacob... Get. In. The. Basket." I said angrily. "Nooooooooo!" Jacob howled. "Ugh, I will have to put you in myself." I said as I grabbed him and put him in the basket.

Note: Now we will go into Jacob’s point of view, I was just going to state this so no one gets confused or anything.

"Man, being little sucks, especially when you have a maniac running on the loose...." I thought to myself as Marissa rode down the road. "Marissa, I’m tired we should all meet up and find a place to sleep for the night." I said slightly yawning. "Oh, sure, lets just go find the others." Marissa said turning around.

We found everyone then we agreed to meet up at my house. We set up some places to sleep... I was REALLY tired too, I usually have more energy than this... I hope I get turned back soon... G’night.

Now back to my point of view.

We woke up in the morning, the sun shining bright, melting all the snow, it left the grass shimmering with dew. "Good morning everyone!" Jostlen said as she streched out. Kellen yawned as he peered out the window to see something weird.... Mr.Young.

"Wh-wh-WHAT THE FUCK!?!?!" Kellen yelled as he ran down the stairs, we were on the second floor. We were terrified, I scooped Jacob off the ground then ran as fast as I could. My heart pounded as we looked for a hiding place, well there was a small walk-in closet, so we all packed in there. It was pitch-black, like if you blinked, it wouldn’t make a difference.

I whispered to everyone "Guys, who is sitting on my lap?" "Sorry Marissa." Kellen said as he scooted over onto Jostlen, or I think it was Jostlen. "Jacob, you here?" I whispered. "Over here," He said "Oh I’m on Cameren... Awkward." Jacob said as he scooted over to me. "Wait where’s Gage?" Cameren whispered. "Over here Cam." Gage whispered in response.

We heard someone walking around in the house, we were paralyzed, I held Jacob tightly. "M-marissa, I’m kinda soffocating..." Jacob whispered. I released him. We sat there for a half hour or so. "I think he is gone..." Jostlen whispered in relief. I peeked outside the closed and no one was out there so we all stepped out.

Jacob had fallen asleep on my lap... It was kinda adorable in a way, a little boy in an over-sized shirt, just sleeping soundly. All of a sudden some weird noise just stopped time, we all stopped in place... Jacob also woke up.

The door flew open... It was him... I felt I was done for... Is this my last breath and thoughts... Everything turned hazy like my vision was blurred... Goodbye...

"Marissa! Marissa wake up please!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, I think she passed out. "Is she okay? Should we go put her up in a bed?" Jostlen asked me. "Probably a good idea... I wonder why she passed out..." Kellen said thinking.

Cameren picked her up and carried her upstairs into my bed (the nearest one). "Hmm, she is warm... More like blazing..." Cameren said as he set her down. I walked up and felt her forehead, she felt like fire... "I will go soak a rag with cold water." Gage said walking out the door of the room. He came back with the rag and set it on her forehead.

I hope she is alright...

Huh where am I? Is this a dream? Jacob? Cameren? Jostlen? Gage? Kellen? Anyone? This has to be a dream, definintly. Lemme see, I summon an icecream cone. Hmm, it appeared... I summon Jacob, he appeared infront of me at his rightful age.

Everything went hazy, Oh no, am I gunna pass out too... I struggled to keep my eyes open, I feel like I’m going to be sick.

Huh, where am I, is that Marissa...?

"Jacob you okay?" I said aloud. "Oh you talked." Jacob said. "Wait... Are you the REAL Jacob?" I said sounding like an idiot. "Well yeah, are you the real Marissa?" he said back. "Of course this is MY dream." I said. "Well I thought this was my dream..., You did pass out in the real world though, and I think I might’ve too." He said as I was confused.

"Do you think we are sharing a dream? I mean it seems as if we are, if we both say it is our dream." I said using the only logic I had to go off of. "Well I don’t know..." He said as always. "Oh yeah I have a joke to tell you now that we don’t have to be serious, What do a screen door and a blonde chick have in common?" He asked. "I have no idea accually..." I said making it awkward. "They get looser everytime you bang em’’’

"Is he okay? I mean I think he passed out too..." Jostlen said while picking him up and setting him next to me on the bed. "Hmm, he doesn’t seem to have a fever though, he will be fine." Kellen said sure of himself. "Lets just hope that phycopathic teacher doesn’t show up again... Why does he want us anyway, it’s not like there is anyone else around, we can’t really call 911 either." Cameren said deep in thought. "Well, I don’t know... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm." Gage said being super annoying.

All of a sudden me and Jacob sprung up from our "nap". "Whoa, how long were we out?" I said rubbing my eyes. "About 1-1 and a half hours" Kellen said checking his watch.

Okay people, let me know if you want a part 2 to this story, this is my first accual story, so I hope everyone liked it. I just need some inspiration for part 2, maybe it will come from Jacob himself, who knows?
