The Revenge of a Geek

Chapter 1
Sam

Sam Williams was about 5’6 and weighed in about 115, he had brown hair, and green eyes. He loved learning, literature, art, and magic. He was always humiliated by this one jock Carl Dupree. Sam’s greatest wish was to return the fun one day.

It was a Monday, as Sam and his girlfriend Lisa were walking down from Dan’s Ice Cream Parlor, and they were getting serious with their relationship. Nothing sexual, just more romantic. Lisa needs to be explained since she will play an important role in the third chapter.

Sam always hoped that Lisa would do more than kiss him. Yet everytime he kissed her he felt different somehow. Like he was a different Sam. It seemed to help learn faster in school. Today seemed a little differnet, Sam began to kiss her as she did that he saw a blinding light surround them.

"What was that light," asked Sam a little scared.

"Sam, I need to tell you something. It’s the reason why I haven’t done anything further with you. I am a light elf," Lisa said hoping Sam wouldn’t freak out.

"You mean those creatures from Norse Mythology," asked Sam with interest.

"Yes, like those creatures, but my kisses having been changing your DNA structure as well," said Lisa carefully," You see Sam you are now able to learn magic. I knew once you saw the blinding light that you no longer would be blinded by the veils that separate mortals from reality.

"The reason why you were doing as well as I was doing as I was teaching you the magic of knowledge and wisdom. The next form of magic will now come to you slowly, but surely. Until eventually you will no longer want to stay on Earth. Then you can live with me on Alfheim. "

Sam looked stun, shocked might have been a better word. That made more sense as to why he could understand science better than ever before, why he could logically argue against many theories without being put into a stump as he once had.

"Why me," was the only thing Sam could think of as he spoke, and spoke quietly.

"Sam you always treated me like a lady, despite your yearnings. I know you always wondered why I never wanted Carl. Carl needs to be taken down, but I am not allowed to under the laws of elves to fight in any manner. You could, but that is only because you are a half-ling now."

"Well this should be fun," thanks Lisa.

Sam began to form a plan to get back at Carl. Then the idea of taking the prides of Carl away from him.
