Millie is a girl who believes in fairies, and is offered a gift that will let her make the world more to her liking by her own fairy godmother! What could go wrong?
Chapter Description: Our tale begins with a moment of rage...
“I NEVER GET WHAT I WANT!” screams a young female voice followed by a loud *SLAM!*
A man in his mid-thirties sighs, sipping from a mug as he resumed reading the newspaper in his other hand.
“What was she asking for this time?” Asks the 15 year old boy entering the room from the kitchen carrying a steaming pot.
“Your sister was insisting that we need to go out into the woods tonight, apparently she had heard that fairies are supposed to be out and about tonight only” the older man said, setting his paper on the nearby table.
“So she asked if we could make the 30 minute drive out of the city towards the nearest forest to go look for some while the time is right, huh?” he asked, chuckling to himself a little.
“Personally I think it’s great that she still believes in stuff like this at her age. Helps her show off that wild imagination of hers,” said a girl of the same age as she also exited the kitchen, brining in a second pot of food, “besides, it’s kinda cute that she still believes in witches and werewolves at 11 years old”
The older man leaned forward, wincing and rubbing his back.
“Maybe so, and the last thing I want to do is stifle that imagination, but I also have to set some boundaries. Tonight especially I can’t go out looking for fairies. Thanks again for coming over to help with dinner, Katie“
“It’s no problem, Mr. Loute. Though I’d prefer if you called me Katlin, not Katie. But rest assured, I couldn’t leave you 3 at the mercy of Alex’s cereal burning hands” she said, giggling and pushing her dirty blonde hair out of her dark skinned face.
“That was one time!”
The three of them continued their conversation as they waited for the food to cool, as upstairs a fit of rage had turned to soft tears as 11 year old Millie Loute sobbed into her lavender pillowcase.
*Sniff* “I-It’s not *Sniff* fair! Th-This *Sniff* is the last night of the *Sniff* year I c-could find one!” She whined, looking longingly out of her second floor window. She wiped the tears from her eyes, and thought she saw some faint green light coming from the windowsill. She got up, still sniffling and wiping away tears, to investigate. Nothing on the windowsill, nothing on the side of the house, nothing below, nothing at all.
“Of course. *Sniff* Why would any magic creature come through my window? *Sniff*” She said, her sight falling to the floorboards in disappointment.
“Why indeed?” An unfamiliar and whimsical high pitched voice asked as a green light appeared in the room. Millie raised her gaze to see what must have been a fantastical creature: A woman with large transparent butterfly wings, clad in a green dress and adorned in fae jewelry emanating that same faint green light from before.
“A-a... a fairy?! Why are you so big? Are you real?!” The girl ricocheted from depression to mania almost immediately at the sight of the magical being.
“As real as the floor beneath you, Millie” the fairy woman said with a gentle smile, poorly hiding her offense at the height comment, “Think of me as a sort of fairy godmother, I’m here to help dissolve your sorrows”
“Really?”
“Yes, really. I heard you plight and felt compelled to come and give you a gift that should save you from your sad situation. And one that will help you make your dreams come true!” She added with a wink
“Really? Wow!” Millie was visibly excited at this point. It was almost too easy.
“Wow indeed” The Fairy Godmother said as she pulled a plastic pink toy wand from her sleeve, “This will be the catalyst for your new, happier life” she did her best to give an earnest smile as she offered the wand to the child.
“This cheap toy is going to make my dreams come true? Is it like a practice wand?” She said picking it up and immediately starting to wave it around.
Her hand was caught mid swing by the Fairy Godmother, “It’s not the container that determines the magic. That wand may look fake, but it is all too real. With it in your hands you now hold the power to make a far more fair reality. But this power comes with some rules”
Millie’s excitement visibly dropped “Rules? My magic wand comes with rules?!”
“Only the fundamental rules of magic, most of which you don’t need to worry about since you could not break them. I have done everything I can to make the wand prevent anything that would make you break any of these rules. Think of it like protection against things you would do that you can’t control. Is that a familiar concept?” The Fairy Godmother asked, as Millie half embarrassed looked to a corner of her room. The Fairy followed her gaze to a plastic box atop of her dresser, ripped open at a corner on the top with a pink and purple plastic object poking out of the opening.
“Ah, I see. Yes, it’s like those protective garments. And much like those, there is no shame in them!” She said as she put a hand on Millie’s shoulder “it is outside of your control, and not your fault”
Though the hand on her shoulder had a weird quality to it that she couldn’t quite place, she found the Fairy Godmother to be a reassuring presence. She went for a hug and wrapped her arms around the woman.
She felt the Fairy move something and heard some rustling around the Fairy’s back, but she thought nothing of it. “Now, before I make my leave for now, what do you say to me giving you a makeover before giving you my goodbyes?”
—————-
“The food’s just about cooled down enough, I should go and get her” Mr Loute said as he stood, wincing as he raised from the table.
“Dad, let me tell her. You should stay sitting as much as possible until your back stops acting up”
“I’ll be fine, Alex. I can grab my walking stick while I’m up there, save some time”
“Then I’ll stop by your room and grab it while I’m up there, while you rest and don’t stress your back! I’ll-”
“Uh, guys?” Katlin interrupted, pointing towards the hallway leading to the stairwell. Currently standing in the doorway was Millie, though instead of the clothes she was wearing before she was dressed in a frilly purple princess dress and the jeans she was wearing earlier underneath. She stood posed in the doorway with her hands on her hips, one clutching the wand, and a proud expression on her face.
“You guys never want to play with me and do the things I want, I’m always having to do what you guys want to do! Well no more!”
“Millie, what is this?” Her father said, getting up from his chair and approaching her, “I know you’re upset that we didn’t go out into the woods today, but we can go the next time they’re out in the woods!”
“No need!” She said with a smug scoff, “One visited me and gave me this wand! With its power, you three will have to play with me and listen to me!”
There was a moment of silence, broken by Alex starting to lightly chuckle from his seat as Katlin fought to avoid running over and pinching her cheeks. Her father, meanwhile, gave a light sigh and paused to get his thoughts in order. In this brief moment, Millie had an idea. She ran towards the table, putting herself between the three of them, and raised the wand up and waved it around.
“You’re all too old to understand! I need to make you guys more like me and my age!” She shouted as she waved the wand around and the plastic gem at the top glowed green. One swing, two swings, three swings, and a flash of green light blinded all four of them.
———————
It was only a few moments, but when their vision returned the world seemed drastically different for the two teenagers. Where previously they were seated at the table, they now found themselves standing by it near Millie. Instinctively they looked to each-other, and noticed that they were both quite different now. They were both shorter than Millie, and younger, seeming to be no older than 6 years old. Then they both noticed that Alex was now a girl, with shoulder length brown hair instead of its previously shorter length. Following that, they noticed their change in clothing. Both were wearing only a simple white shirt, with 2 buttons undone at the collar and slightly too big for them. Just short enough to make the last change they had noticed easy for any outside observer to spot: Their diapers. The padding between their legs prevented either of them from fully closing their legs, and would likely make walking difficult, but that was far from either of their minds. Currently Alex was busy blushing at both her current attire, and Katie’s fawning over her while sucking on her index finger.
“I’m... a g-girl?” Alex stammered.
“Yea, an’a pwetty cute one!” Katie said amidst her fingers.
The father, meanwhile, had barely moved from his original position. Though he still found himself shorter, female, and wearing only the shirt and diaper. Though his dark black hair, in addition to getting longer, was now tied behind his head with a red ribbon. Or, her head rather.
“Millie, what did you do?” Her father asked while lifting up the front of her shirt to see the plain white diaper she now had wrapped around her waist. Millie, meanwhile, was stunned at the results of her wish’s completion. Now surrounded by her family and Katie, all reduced to young children clad in toddler attire, she questioned why the wand had interpreted her wish this way.
“O-okay Millie, I think it’s time you turned us back now...” Alex half requested and half mumbled through her immense blushing
“I dunno, I fink you look cuter like dis” Katie lisped, still leaning closer to Alex and teasing her.
“Alright, but only if you promise to be nicer and play the games I want to play!”
“Deal”
Millie rose the wand once again, waving it around three times, but on the third swing the light flashed only to bounce around the room for a moment before flying out the window towards the road. While most of the eyes were trailing the green ball of magic bouncing around, after its leave the two noticed that Millie seemed to have been struck in the head by the wand during the misfire, as she held a pose recoiling with her head arched back.
Katie moved closer to Millie to put her hand on the (now older than her) child’s shoulder to comfort her, and as she did she heard a soft *Pssshh*. Katie was able to put two and two together.
“Aw Miwwie, it okay dat you wetted youself. Don cwy” she lisped as she started to stroke Millie’s back.
“I’m fine, getting bonked on the head hurt a little but I’m good. The Fairy Godmother warmed me about this...” Millie looked down as she unbuttoned her jeans and let them fall to the ground, revealing the now soaked pull-up between her legs.
“Oh, so you’s in daipoos too. Dat’s smart!”
“They’re pull-ups! It shows I’m still a big kid, and the Fairy Godmother said that after I cast more spells I should be able to cast them without wetting myself. She said something about ‘straining my body’ so I just need to do it more until it’s easier!”
“Are you s-sure she didn’t say training your body?” Alex questioned.
“Maybe. I just have to train in magic, like a wizard!” Millie said, already lost in her imagination. That is, until a nasty smell pulled her out of it and caused all three of them to plug their noses.
“Ewwwww, Awex! Did you have a poopy accident?” Katie asked, more to tease Alex than to accuse.
“N-no! I’m still clean! I’m not just gonna use my diaper like some baby!” Alex was almost immediately flustered.
Millie’s attention, and both of the teen’s after this round of teasing, turned to the previous Mr.Loute, who had never left the crouched position he was in and was now softly grunting and scrunching her face with effort. Due to the length of their shirts, and the fact that she was holding her shirt up before this had started, the slowly dropping seat of her diaper was clearly visible to all 3 of the other girls in the room. No comments were made, just quiet awestruck and confused observation as they all observed the girl who not five minutes ago was wincing from back pain was now filling her diaper like an overgrown toddler. After about three minutes and rising volumes of stressed grunts, it seemed that she was done messing as she slowly relaxed towards the floor and put her thumb in her mouth, tears in her eyes. All three of the other girls looked to each other in shock, moving closer to the girl who was now laying on her back, kicking her Mary-Jane covered feet in the air.

Two women were walking down the sidewalk, heading home hand in hand while talking and carrying grocery bags.
“What happened with Alan, again?” Asked the woman wearing a blue cardigan and green skirt.
“I believe they said he threw out his back at work” replied the woman wearing a long beige coat.
“I’d believe it, he’s constant putting in how many hours at the plant, helping out at the greenhouse, carrying things..”
“Helping us when we need things moved, shoveling us out when we were stuck in the driveway...”
“Hey, I’m just saying he works hard and a lot, makes sense something’s gonna give if he doesn’t give his body time to recover”
“Just be glad that this is a relatively easy way to pay him back for how much he’s helped us over the years we’ve been living together next door, Emmy”
“Claire! You know I hate that nickname!”
“I do. I also know that’s what makes it fun to use when you’re being a brat”
Emilia was about to retort, before sounds of distant rattling gave way to a ball of green energy flying out of a nearby window and into her, passing through her and stopping at Claire. She felt odd for a moment, but brushed it off as odd weather and continued on. As they continued walking, she found she was tripping on her leather boots. She knew they were tight on her legs when she left the house, the belts on the side of the made sure of that, but they were loose on her now and threatening to take her down to the ground with each step.
“I know that clothes that don’t fit is a fashion craze right now, especially with people your age, but maybe we should get you some shoes that fit? That way you aren’t teetering around like you’re on a runway?” Claire giggled at her own joke as Emilia scoffed.
“Whatever, mom. You just don’t get my fashion sense” Emilia was immediately annoyed, she had enough going on without her mom tagging on her about her fashion choices. Like this weird feeling she had, like something was very off. Was her mother always so tall?
“Emmy, honey, I know you want to help by carrying some bags but you have to look where you’re going! If you trip and fall, the groceries will go everywhere!” Claire said, causing Emilia to notice that she was quite a few feet away from Claire.
“Mommy, I told you to stop calling me ‘Emmy’. It makes me sound like a baby!” She said with a huff as she caught up to Claire.
“Okay, Emilia. I haven’t forgotten what a big girl you’ve been lately” she said, slowing down as she set her tote bags on the ground and turned to Emilia, “Speaking of which, let’s have a quick check, shall we?”
As Claire knelt to a bit below eye level with Emilia and lifted up her denim skirt to reveal her pull-up, Emilia was wracked with questions. “Wasn’t I just complaining about leather boots? Or my car? Maybe my toy car? I have a lot of those...maybe I can play with that once we get back home!” Emmy quickly lost her train of thought as the transformation continued, the padding between her legs thickening as she went from pull-ups to child-sized diapers and squatted with a grunt and a huff.
“Looks like I was right, that mall food went right through you” she said, lightly patting Emmy on the head.
“I’m, hhrrrmmmh, s-sorry mo-uugh-mommy! I tried t-to guuhhh! h-hold it, and be a big girl, b-but...”
Claire moved to hug Emilia. “You’re fine, honey. You’re just developing at your own pace. You didn’t choose to have these potty problems, and you’ll grow out of it eventually”
Emmy sniffed. “T-thanks, mommy. I think I’m done, now” she said, looking at her exposed, drooping diaper. She moved to stand up, but Claire put her hands on her shoulders and held her still. “I’m just going to change you here, so stay there while I lay the mat out” she said, rummaging through the back of a stroller that Emmy could swear wasn’t there a minute ago.
“Change me here? Out in the open?! Can’t we just wait until we get home?” She pleaded, heavily blushing.
“So you can blow out this diaper and have me clean your stroller for the third time this month? No thanks. Besides, I change you in public all the time, why the theatrics now?” She said, putting her hands on her hips while holding both a clean diaper and wipes.
“I...fine, just be quick!” Emmy said, flopping onto her back on the changing pad.
