I know this is way overdue and it is not completely done but I think it is time we move to the new software and at least be able to have discussions, send messages and add new stories. You will need to migrate your old account by clicking the login button and then select migrate my account. The first ones of you to do this will be the guinea pigs because I have not been able to test it. If it works and no one else has already commented that it works in this thread, please leave a comment so I know it is ok. If it doesn't work, use the contact form to let me know what happened and if it gave you an error message. As you use the site, if you see any errors or issues, please post them in this thread or use the contact form to let me know. Next up is to migrate all of the images from the old site to the new one after that enable people to add new images here. Once that is done, I think the next thing will be a new feature called Marketplace where people will be able to advertise projects, patreons or availability for commissions. Thank you for all of your patience and I hope you get to enjoy the new AR Archive.

I have to say that you really took me for a ride Heid when I meandered onto ARarchive on a whim, on April Fool's Day no less, to see the new site up and running. I know I've usually haven't been quite a cheerleader throughout this whole process of upgrading the site and I've probably ranted about the doom and gloom of the ARarchive a great many times over the years. However, I do recall saying I would congratulate you once you actually got the site up and running - and while you yourself say it the work isn't done - technically it still fits the bill. So congratulations on bringing this thing through as far as you have! I am more orl ess humbled by all of this. I'm so dumbstruck that I can actually post what I've written since the old site stopped new stories from being posted that I don't even know where to start.

Thank you for this Heidegger. I have migrated over, but so far cannot add stories. When this is made available I will upload as many as I can.

Well it was saying 404, but now its working~ So I will post a debut story here tonight and then load some more.

Please email the URL that gives you the 404 and I will work with you to get this resolved. The email is my username (heidegger) and the rest of the address is @ararchive.com. I phrase it that way so spammers don't pick up the email address.

Thanks for helping me with the account! A request regarding one of my stories: "Jumper" was never listed as mine, maybe due to a mishap of mine or the old archive. Can you add it to my account here? Alternatively delete it, so I can repost it. You can see me having published a never version on Deviantart. I'm very happy with this site and will try to add some stories I already published on Deviantart here.

My account seems to have transferred but I'm having trouble posting. I hope it's not like the last site where I couldn't save drafts and the site would automatically log me out every couple minutes.

Neat. It's going to take some time adjusting. Obviously, there's no need to post "fan art," but what I will miss is the Comics/ Manga/ etc. sections from the image gallery. A place to find AR from "official" sources. Well, maybe I'll finally write another AR story.

So, I get a 503 page when I try to remove tags from a story. Hope this can be fixed, I mistagged my story. Oh, and great job on the site! Happy to see new life in this place.

I am unable to see comments made on my stories. Any time I click on the comments icon, nothing happens. Anyone else having this issue?

From the front page and the story summary pages, the comments icon is only going to show the count and not act as a link. If you go to a chapter view of a story, the comments icon will jump you to the comments section at the end.

A few things i have noticed so far... 1) Replies to msgs in this thread show twice. It shows them as a reply and then as a new post as well 2)The "all my discussions" button on the home page gives a 404. It links to https://ararchive.com/my/discussions 3) If you click comment in a discussion thread without any text in the comment box the system doesn't fail gracefully. It returns a 500 error

And now empty comments just revert back to the discussion page without error.
