VERY short tale. Written from scratch in 20 minutes on a dare. Still kinda cute. Halloween themed.

Chapter 1
Old Enough

"Old Enough"

by Dark Oni

Christine loved halloween. It wasn’t the ’trick or treating’ though. She was fifteen after all and much too old for such childish things. She just loved scaring the heck out of the little kids in the neighborhood. It was pretty easy and a lot of fun jumping out from behind trees and fences to terrify her tiny victims. Sometimes she even got a free bag of dropped candy to boot.

The timing was everything. Of course the black and purple wicked queen outfit she wore didn’t hurt either.

It was getting late and she was about to call it a night when she saw a little girl of about eight or nine, dressed like a witch and walking with her mother. Setting herself up just right and leaping at the last second Christine yelled ’Boo!’ and relished the high pitched scream that came from the child.

The girl’s mother didn’t look very happy however. "Aren’t you a little old to be scaring children?" she admonished.

Christine shrugged off the comment and replied "Old enough not to have to listen to you grandma."

The woman simply smiled and said "Oh, my mistake, you really aren’t that old after all. In fact, you couldn’t be more than twelve."

Christine felt a sudden chill run through her body and she could feel her costume loosen on her. When she looked down she could see her just blossoming breasts flatten into her chest as the ground suddenly seemed much closer. She found her thoughts to be a bit clouded but she remembered the scare she’d given the little girl and the insult she’d recieved from the mother.

In response she said "I’m not scared of you lady. I had fun scaring your brat and I’d do it again."

The woman simply sighed and said "I thought you were old enough to apologize but it seems I was mistaken. You’re really just a child like my Vanessa here."

Again Christine felt the chill and her costume now seemed huge on her. She still felt confused and looked straight into the eyes of the girl she’d scared. The blonde was giggling at her, as if what she’d done had been funny.

Chrissy didn’t like that, not one bit. She got laughed at enough at school for how little she was. She liked it even less coming from someone she’d tried to scare.

Lunging forward she pushed the girl and yelled "Stop laughing at me!" What Christine couldn’t see was how stupid she now looked in her oversized costume. It was that the girl had been laughing at.

The woman grabbed Chrissy by the shoulder and pulled her away from her daughter. She swiftly recieved a kick in the shin for her trouble.

"Ow!" she exclaimed, then said angrily "I thought you were old enough to behave but it looks like I was wrong there too. I suppose from the beginning you were acting like the two year old you really are."

The struggling Chrissy suddenly felt very cold. The world around her grew as did the people in front of her. Somewhere in the back of her mind she knew something was very wrong. She wasn’t little, she was big. At least her costume didn’t get any bigger but instead shrank to match her new size.

She was soon very scared since she had no idea where her mommy was. She saw a big girl in front of her and was very confused. That girl had been smaller than her, hadn’t she? Without warning the big girl bent over and yelled, "Boo!" An already frightened little Chrissy was scared out of her wits and began to cry, her diaper suddenly feeling very warm.

"Vanessa! You shouldn’t scare little children like that, it isn’t nice. Now apologize.", the woman said.

"Yes mommy." replied the little witch. "I’m sorry I scared you. What’s your name?"

"I’m Kwissy." the toddler mumbled around her thumb.

"Chrissy. What a pretty name." the mother said. "And what are you dressed as?"

"I’m a pwincess." Chrissy said.

"Oh course you are honey. Now, do you know where you live?"

Chrissy nodded in response and the woman picked up the dark haired toddler and held her in her arms. The wicked queen costume had turned into a frilly little pink dress with the crown shrinking accordingly. The woman smiled upon feeling the child’s diaper, admiring her own skill. Clothing morphs could be difficult after all.

She knew Chrissy would wake up the next day remembering everything that had happened in her fifteen year life but having lost all acquired knowledge. Selective spells could be so effective. Maybe the next time Chrissy grew up she wouldn’t get such a thrill out of scaring those smaller than her.

Finally the woman said "I’ll get you home then. You really aren’t old enough to be out here on your own."

The End.
