Amylissan’s world was one of cold and light and pain. On a certain level she knew she was screaming though she could hear no sound.

Her memories were muddled. Flashes more than cognizant thought. The Throne had crumbled. Her Throne, so she’d believed. Bhaal’s Throne truly. The Bhaalspawn’s now as well.

She had lost. The powers of a god had been hers. The powers of a goddess, blown to the astral wind. She’d been beaten. That much she could stitch together. The Bhaalspawn. That wretched Paladin Tobyn and his party.

Her mind screamed in anguish, both at what had been taken, but also from the incessant tearing and burning that clawed at her very soul. The soul she had melded Bhaal’s power to. A god’s power. Her god once.

High priestess and Deathstalker of the Lord of Murder Bhaal she’d been. THE High Priestess. So favored above all others that her lord had lain with her, had entrusted her with his plan to escape a prophecy of death.

Bhaal had spread his seed, his very essence far and wide, tainting wombs in every species in the realms. The power would survive his death, but his offspring would not escape it’s cold touch either. Being mortal they would die and the essence would return to the abyss, to the Throne of Bhaal, his very own pocket of hell.

The plan was simple. The plan was exquisite. The plan however was flawed. Amylissan’s mind cackled at the thought, recoiling immediately in more searing pain, but she enjoyed the humor regardless.

Bhaal had needed someone to go to the Throne. Someone to perform the ritual so that he could return and be reborn from death to reclaim his godly power. Amylissan he chose, and she, being the highest worshiper of an evil god, had of course betrayed him and attempted to take the power for herself. Somehow, even now she could not help but find it hilarious.

Calling herself Melissan she had masqueraded as a benefactor for Bhaalspawn everywhere. They were hated and feared, most bringing destruction and death in their wake due to the dark pull of their taint. She had pretended to help them, while truly shepherding them to their destruction. The most powerful, and corruptible she had formed into the Five. After all, every assassin needs her blade. They killed the most as she gathered them for the slaughter. All the while thinking they would serve, as Bhaal’s favored when he was resurrected.

In all they had, she had, killed thousands. The crowning moment of glory the hundreds who’d perished in Saradush when an army of one of the Five, the Fire Giant Yaga-Shura, had breached it’s walls and slaughtered all. Amylissan remembered that moment fondly. The screams. The blood and death. So glorious. Even in her years of service to the god of murder nothing had compared. Then she, as planned, had betrayed the Five.

Tobyn had been her instrument then. A Holy Paladin as well as a Bhaalspawn himself he had served as a vengeful sword of righteous fire. It had seemed so perfect, so ironic that a warrior of the light would bring forth a new goddess of darkness. She should have known better than to try and control such an unfamiliar weapon, or worse, try to snuff it out once ignited.

In the end Tobyn was the last threat, the last minor obstacle for her to overcome before godhood. The anguish returned as she recalled the final battle. Beaten again and again. Her Throne, the seat of her godhood, toppling and crashing down upon her before exploding. If she had the ability and form, she knew tears would come to her face. But she did not, for her world was still merely light and pain.

But that was changing. She could feel it, after a time. What she had once believed was her soul being torn asunder she was beginning, against all hope, to suspect was the opposite.

Conscious thought was slowly and surely returning, her memories gravitating together. Eventually, the pain ebbed and dissipated. She could feel her body reforming. Trying to move she felt tired, so very, very tired, but she fought the abyss of sleep. “I have not come this far, fought this hard, to fall back into oblivion!” she screamed to herself. It was the first complete thought she’d had in what felt like an eternity.

A new world came into form around her, though she suspected it was she that was coalescing. The light remained, but thankfully the pain was fading. It returned swiftly in a violent jolt as a spasm hit her body. “My body.” She thought with bittersweet happiness.

A moment later she took air into her mouth sharply, her first breath since she knew not when. Her lungs burned, her throat melted and she hacked, painfully and endlessly. At least so it seemed.

Her eyes, still closed, were a mass of tears, not from sorrow but because they too burned. She had no idea where she was or what condition her body was in but she did not care. She was alive, she knew because of the incessant pounding heartbeat that echoed in her ears, and she would take that at any cost.

Finally her breathing slowed, her beating heart relaxed and her body seemed to accept that it belonged in the state it once again found itself in. After a moment, Amylissan, the would be goddess, opened her eyes, and was utterly dumbfounded by what she saw.

********************

Ironically, at first she almost thought she was being worshiped. She found herself atop a pedestal, on what could only be described as a white marble alter, and before her stood the great hall of a cavern, lit through it’s far wide opening by the sun. Standing and sitting within were hundreds of white robed elves. All staring at her. Closing her eyes once more in disbelief she took a deep breath. The second glance however was identical to the first.

Still, it was then she noticed something above her normal line of sight. Some of the elves were neither sitting nor standing. They were flying. Gliding on crystal wings from one rocky outcropping to the next, like the angelic Solars in the heaven the followers of good preached.

An icy fear gripped Amylissan’s heart. She had not been good. Not in the least. Granted, these were not Solars, but they were almost the same thing to her. They were Avariel. Winged elves that pursued good above all else. She’d known of an Avariel once, or at least one who’d claimed to have her lost her wings to slavers. Wracking her dusty memories she finally managed to pull a name up, her eyes widening in horror as she heard a clear, and familiar female voice boom through the hall.

“Tobyn’s will is done!” the voice called.

“So shall it be.” The hundred’s of Avariel echoed her.

Amylissan turned, her neck exploding in sharp, but manageable pain. A few feet from her stood the source of that voice. A young Avariel wearing the robes of a high priestess.

“No.” Amylissan realized. “THE High Priestess.”

The priestess, her hands folded before her in a contemplative manner, smiled warmly. Her hair was the same as Amylissan remembered, long and blonde, and her two pointed Elvin ears rose up to cleanly breach the golden tresses. Large blue eyes, deep as the sea stared back. “Hello Melissan.” She said, her voice sweet as honey but terrifying Amylissan nonetheless.

Taking a deep breath Amylissan tried to speak, managing only a raspy tremor from her parched throat. “A-(cough)-Aerie?” she squeaked weakly. She wanted to say more but she could not. Aerie, the childish Cleric/Mage Tobyn had loved and married. The wingless Avariel who’d carried Tobyn’s child the last time they’d met. She was no longer wingless, her beautiful glass-like appendages flowing downward with the cloth of her robe, and she was no longer carrying Tobyn’s offspring. Some time had passed since that battle, and the idea did not make Amylissan feel very good.

In contrast, Aerie’s smile widened. “Wonderful! Your memories remain.” She replied cheerily, signaling to someone behind the weakened deathstalker. Within seconds a pitcher was pressed to Amylissan’s lips, cool water purifying and soothing her throat as she reflexively drank. She found herself hungrily gulping the liquid despite herself as Aerie continued to speak.

“Tobyn told me you would remember, but I honestly wasn’t sure. (giggle) I am so foolish sometimes, after all, he is a god now.” Aerie told her. Amylissan nearly choked upon hearing it confirmed.

A smirk came to Aerie’s face and her voice became more serious, almost condescending. “Just drink my dear and listen, you’re really going to need your strength. Yes, as you must have suspected Tobyn is no longer mortal. He took his father’s power and ascended to a role of justice and goodness.” She said with pride. “He returned my wings to me and has kept me and his children safe. Despite what I’d feared he is able to visit me fairly often. We have both a son and a daughter now, and he has told me another child is on the way. Motherhood has been very fulfilling for me.” She finished with a happy faraway look.

Amylissan emptied the pitcher and it was pulled away. She had consumed too much too quickly however and she coughed, spitting a mouthful back up and onto herself. Her chin was quickly dripping with water-laden drool, which her arms were too weak to rise and wipe away.

Aerie tilted her head and pursed her lips, her voice much sweeter than usual though few would have thought that possible. “Awwwwwwwww, does poor Melly need help holding her drinkie?” she mocked.

At first Amylissan stared at the elf in shock, never expecting such a tone from one such as her. The fire of anger quickly replaced her cold shock however. Managing to spit weakly in the priestess’ direction she gasped, “Go to hell bitch. I just escaped from oblivion, what do I have to fear from you?”

The smile never left Aerie’s face as she simply responded with, “Wait.” She turned, and took a large object from the alter behind her. Amylissan recognized it immediately as the Holy Avenger Carsomyr, the two handed sword Tobyn had wielded, the very blade that had killed her. Aerie held it easily, as if it were light as a feather. Only Paladins were supposed to be able to hold such weapons, but apparently exceptions could be made when one was the consort to a god of light.

“You shouldn’t even exist you know. That is what Tobyn was told. You’d melded your soul to Bhaal’s power, and once it fled you, your soul was ravaged and torn apart.” Aerie explained.

Involuntarily Amylissan shivered at the buried memory. That was exactly what had happened and it had been even more painful than it sounded. Her head dipped in phantom pain, her wet chin touching her chest. It was then she noticed how she was dressed, and the state of her body.

It was exactly as she had been just before her death. When she’d thought herself a goddess. She wore the uniform of a deathstalker priestess; skin-tight brown leather tunic and trousers, red sash down the middle of her chest and around her waist, and large gloves styled to appear like a cross between the wings of a hawk and the claws of a bear. They were sharp too she knew, she’d washed them in enough blood to know that very well.

But they were useless to her now. She could not even raise her hand to wipe her spittle covered chin, never mind gouge the eyes out of that smirking elf’s head like she wanted to. She also noticed that there was something on her head, covering her ears. It had to be the deathstalker headdress, with four eagle’s feathers to either side, she knew it, despite the fact she could not see it.

What she could see, and quite clearly, were the impressive mounds of her breasts. A small laugh escaped her lips. One of the first things she had done upon stealing Bhaal’s power was make herself immortal, and more importantly, make herself young again. Returning her body to it’s prime had been a dream come true as she had been among the most voluptuous and tempting of lasses in her day. Even so, she’d never gotten the chance to really enjoy it before her fall from godhood, and now she could barely even move. In fact, she realized now she wasn’t even standing, her booted feet floating inches off the marbled pedestal.

Her thoughts were broken by Aerie’s voice. “Tobyn however, in his wisdom, believed that your essence was not completely lost. He has spent the last two decades trying to piece you back together.”

Utterly amazed at the statement Amylissan managed to pull her head back up and lean it to the side, staring into the High Priestess’ eyes. “He did what?” she whispered.

Aerie’s smile was warm once again. “Tobyn is merciful.” She said simply, and the throng of worshipers behind her echoed the statement. After a moment however her face darkened. “Even so, there must be a reckoning. Tobyn felt that by fading to nothingness you were escaping just punishment for your crimes.”

True fear again gripped Amylissan but it quickly turned to resentment. “Crimes? For trying to steal a dead god’s power? I do not regret that in the least, especially when your ?god’ did the very same.” She spat, knowing the elf before her was na?ve and hoping to rattle her a bit, at least for old time’s sake.

But the assault did not succeed. Instead Aerie laughed, a deep, chilling cackle. “Oh my. My love was right again. All you can think about is the power, and yourself. You do not even realize what you are being punished for.” A sad, dark expression took hold of the good priestesses face. “You’ve killed thousands of innocents in your time Amylissan, High Priestess of Bhaal. Not to mention the Bhaalspawn and the citizens of Saradush, many of whom I met before they were slaughtered by your dark plans. The evil members of your Five burn for what they did, but you escaped punishment. Tobyn did not think that was ..... Fair.”

The would be goddess’ eyes widened once more in astonishment. Why were the lives of so many pathetic weaklings such a concern? She had killed most of them with little thought. “I am a Priestess of Murder foolish girl! That is what I do!” she screamed at the silly elf.

“Correction.” Aerie calmly rebuked her. “You WERE a Priestess of Murder. To a dead god, whom you betrayed. In other words ...........” the Elvin Priestess smiled, coming closer and whispering to the former deathstalker, who was just now realizing the full scope of her predicament. “Not even the Lord of Lies Cyric himself will lift a finger to help you. Ever.”

The fear returned to Amylissan, and this time she could not force it away. “I .... I.....” she stuttered.

“Will speak when spoken too!” Aerie commanded her, and for once, Amylissan obeyed.

“Good girl.” Aerie said, as if to a small child. “Now, as I was saying, Tobyn feels you need to be punished. But do not worry, he does not intend for it to be as unpleasant as you may think. Tobyn is merciful.” Again the worshippers repeated the statement, unnerving Amylissan even more.

With that Aerie stepped forward and lifted the huge blade, resting the tip on Amylissan’s cheek, before jerking the blade downward and slicing through the skin.

“Ahhhhhhhhhh!” the former deathstalker cried out, her fear getting the best of her.

“Shhhhhhhhh.” Aerie soothed. “Don’t worry baby, the pain will be temporary.” She said, reaching a goblet to Amylissan’s neck to collect her pooling blood.

“You’re, you’re sacrificing me?” she gasped. “B-but, Tobyn is a good god. You said so yourself!”

The blood collected Aerie turned back to the alter. She laughed lightly at the obviously terrified subject of the ritual. “He is. While his father, your Bhaal, was a god of death, my Tobyn is a god of life. Do not worry child, you will live. For a very, very long time.”

Further conversation between them was negated by Aerie’s growing chant. She was casting a powerful spell, a spell backed by godly power.

It took some time and Amylissan began to shift uncomfortably as she floated in place. She’d had quite a lot of water to drink and now she was feeling the effects. A scowl took her features. Once she was nearly a goddess, now she just wanted a pot to piss in.

Eventually Aerie finished her spell and an explosion of white, billowy energy encompassed both her and the alter. There was a gasp from the collected worshipers of Tobyn, and a bowing of heads as they realized the will of their new god was coming to fruition.

With her back to the captive Aerie seemed to open her robe and lean over the goblet before her, an action that caused all of the worshipers to avert their eyes downward, and Amylissan’s fear to grow once more. Having been a High Priestess herself she knew when a ritual had reached its apex.

Aerie shifted again, and then lifted the goblet high above her head, causing the Avariel before her to fall to their knees. She turned and faced Amylissan once more, the goblet before her and that infernal smirk still on her face.

The would be goddess struggled and squirmed futilely, actually hearing herself whimper in terror. She did not know what her punishment was to be, but gods never went through as much trouble as her resurrection must have cost to simply give slaps on the wrist.

Desperately she tried to delay the inevitable. “P-P-Priestess of Tobyn are you? Avariel worshiping a deity other than Aerdrie Faenya? I don’t understand. Aren’t you all betraying Aerdrie Faenya? You are a cult! Nothing more!

Many in the crowd raised their heads and glared at the infidel for her insults, but Aerie’s smile only grew in that condescending way. “Hardly. Tobyn is not an Avariel god exclusively. He does not care what his followers are, so long as they fight for the light. Being his consort, and having my wings returned of course caused many of my people to flock to his banner, but he is no rival of Lady Aerdrie. Their goals are too similar and many Avariel pay homage to both. He simply fills a niche that Aerdrie Faenya never cared to.”

Amylissan began to breathe faster. Aerdrie Faenya was a goddess of peace and love, what facet of godhood had she failed to fill for the Avariel? Slowly and carefully she asked, “What niche is that?”

Aerie’s smirk returned. “Tobyn is also a god of righteous vengeance.”

“Righteous vengeance!” the crowd echoed.

“And you Amylissan will become the greatest symbol of that vengeance, and of Tobyn’s power.” Aerie told her.

It was almost enough to make Amylissan wet herself right there. She was to be made an example, of what Tobyn would do to the wicked. “N-N-No. Mercy. Please.” She whimpered, her voice cracking.

“This is mercy for one such as you.” Aerie intoned and approached, stepping up onto the pedestal, lifting the goblet high and pressing it to Amylissan’s lips. The target of Tobyn’s vengeance shifted her head desperately, turning it to and fro, trying to keep the goblet’s rim from meeting her sealed lips. Her strength was still gone however and the diminutive Elvin priestess easily matched her every move, finally forcing the cold metal between her lips and pouring it’s contents into her mouth.

To her surprise the liquid was actually very sweet, coursing down her throat like molten honey. Aerie’s sugary sweet comments didn’t make her feel any better however. “That’s it sweetie. Drink your nummy nums. Good Melly.” The Elvin priestess mocked.

Tilted all the way back the goblet was quickly emptied, the magical mixture of blood and some kind of milk, Amylissan was sure, drained it’s way into her stomach. She did not wish to swallow, but it was almost as if she was compelled to by the force of the spell. She could feel it’s energy which was now beginning to spread though her body and into her limbs.

Immediately she became more alert and she quickly found the ability to easily move her neck and turn her head. Soon after she managed to lift her arms and stretched them in a wide arc. She was confused. Not only was she feeling better, this was the best she could ever recall feeling, at least before she’d pooled the power of a god.

She moved her legs and stretched them as well, flexing her feet and toes as feeling returned to them. Not only was power and feeling returning to her body but even her clothing felt more comfortable than usual. A slight smile came to her lips as she looked at the rival High Priestess. “Are you sure you didn’t screw up the spell little Aerie?” Amylissan asked, reveling in the chance to mock the elf back.

“Let us find out.” Aerie replied, gesturing at the floating captive.

A moment later Amylissan’s feet dropped to the marble top of the pedestal. Bending her knees she took an attack stance and grinned widely at the short, weak elf below her. She was free, and her muscles felt energized. “Let’s.”

Amylissan leapt off the pedestal to attack the priestess. She did not care if the congregation eventually overwhelmed her, at this point she would take what she could. No one humiliated her like this and lived. Charging her prey she imagined tearing Aerie apart limb from limb and enjoying every bloody moment.

As she approached however the robed elf seemed to grow, quickly becoming larger and larger. Thinking it a spell Amylissan continued on, diving and swinging her clawed hand at her opponent.

She was quite surprised when the giant priestess caught her by the wrist and twisted it back painfully.

“Owwwwwwwwww!” she cried out, noticing something was very wrong. She was much weaker than she felt and her voice sounded much too high.

“Naughty little girl.” Aerie scolded. “Melly mustn’t play with sharp things. She might hurt herself.” With her free hand Aerie struck Amylissan in the chest and threw her back. Finding her boots loose Amylissan stumbled and fell onto her ass. She quickly felt tears coming to her eyes.

“What’s happening to me?!” she cried, realizing finally that it was not the elf that had changed.

“I told you already Melly. Tobyn’s vengeance.” Aerie answered her, sounding like a mother reminding her silly daughter of something important.

“Righteous vengeance!” the crowd echoed.

Finding herself sniffling despite her best attempts at control Amylissan regained her feet and stared down at her body, finally understanding what was going on.

Ironically, it was not what she saw at first, but what she didn’t. Her breasts, they were gone. Well, mostly. Her tunic hung on her, no longer remotely skin tight, and her entire upper chest was clearly visible to the world. Her breasts, her beautiful symbols of womanhood, were mere buds and she reflexively covered them with her arms in shame.

Aerie laughed. “Oh Melly. Do not be so concerned. Modesty is going to be the least of your worries. Besides, what do you have to hide now anyway?”

Amylissan wanted to cry and it was a strange, unfamiliar feeling. It was the spell she knew, but she could do little to fight it. Still, she tried. “Be quiet!” she screamed at the Priestess, but it ended up sounding more like a whine. “Change me back or I’ll hurt you! I’ll kill you!”

Once more the elf laughed at her. The one time goddess was a truly pathetic sight now. Aerie guessed her age to be little more than about thirteen, and her once proud, intimidating outfit now hung on her in multiple folds. Some in the congregation were already beginning to laugh as well, enjoying the spectacle before them.

“Really?” Aerie mocked again. “Well, I say if little Melly doesn’t behave herself and do as mommy says she’s going to end up with a very red bottom.”

Anger flashed in Amylissan’s eyes. She did not care what had been done to her. She would not be treated like a child! Releasing a growl she charged again, claws forward.

She didn’t make it far. The now much larger Aerie grabbed her wrists again, this time spinning the girl around and giving a sharp smack to her bottom. “Ow!” the girl complained.

Again Amylissan tried to attack, swinging at Aerie’s face, but the elf dodged the blow. The former deathstalker immediately found that her gloves were as loose as the rest of her clothing when the glove she’d swung with flew off her now smaller hand.

She paused, momentarily in shock, allowing Aerie to grab her other wrist and pull the second claw off, tossing it to the crowd.

“Noooooooooo.” Amylissan whined. “I need those!” She tried to pursue the first one but found herself held, a firm grip on her wrist.

“You will never have need of such weapons again child. Never again will you be allowed to play with such dangerous toys.” Aerie told her.

“I said shut up!” Amylissan screamed, swinging her open palm back at her tormentor and finally landing a blow, slapping Aerie across her face.

For a moment everything was silent. Despite her success Amylissan actually found herself feeing nervous. A part of her was screaming that she really shouldn’t have done that.

With a scowl of anger Aerie’s grip tightened painfully around Amylissan’s wrist and the girl found herself being dragged to a nearby chair, set aside for the High Priestess’ use during long ceremonies.

“I’m sorry. Please. I’ll be good.” She pleaded, hoping to escape some of her punishment as she futilely tried to stop the elf’s pull.

“It is far too late for those promises, isn’t it Melly? As I recall you broke every one of them. No. Certain little girls only understand one thing and what you will learn, eternal ward of Tobyn, is that violence will not be acceptable.” Aerie intoned.

Once Aerie had sat on the chair Amylissan found herself pulled by the wrist over the elf’s lap. She knew what would happen next and to her credit, she tried to fight it.

“No. You will not!” she yelled. Despite the protests she felt Aerie easily force her wrist behind her back, snatch the other one and lock them both in place. Aerie?s free hand then grabbed the back of her loose trousers, bunched the material in her hand and pulled them down to Amylissan’s knees. She kicked, she struggled, she even tried to bite, but nothing got her free. Either the Priestess was stronger than she looked, or Amylissan was weaker.

Within moments Aerie’s open palm was smashing into her bare bottom and every blow stung more terribly than the last.

Amylissan bawled like a baby. The pain was great and she was humiliated as well, but there was something more. Her control, her maturity had fled her. She felt like a little girl, despite the knowledge she still held in her head. She was no longer Amylissan she realized, she did not deserve the name. Aerie was right, Melly was the only title that fit now.

Another surge of energy roiled from her belly, spreading to her limbs. Within seconds everything around her seemed to grow again, though Melly knew it was actually she that was shrinking.

The spanking continued along with her regression. Clothing loosened, boots slid from shrinking feet, a pair of dull clomps interrupting the steady pattern of smacks as heavy leather met marble floor. Melly’s eyes blurred with tears that she then felt rolling down her cheeks.

She felt something else too, a building pressure down below that was quickly becoming urgent, likely due to her body contracting around all the liquid she had consumed. As her bare feet kicked through the cool air and her naked middle bounced on Aerie’s lap the stinging sensation within throbbed with each jolt and she knew immediately that she could not hold it.

A squirt escaped her, filling her with a feeling of panic. She struggled to get up, to get anywhere else so she could relieve herself but her toes could find no purchase and her arms could not break Aerie’s grip. The constant pounding was working against her as well. With the next impact another squirt forced it’s way out and yet another matched the following blow. Utter mortification filled Melly and after the next pair of spanks the squirts turned into a steady stream, matching her flow of tears. Her control was gone as was her pride.

Mercifully the spanking stopped, the High Priestess’ voice gasping above her. A piece of Amylissan emerged, happy to have caused the Elvin bitch some grief, even in as a pathetic a method as this. It sank swiftly though at Aerie’s words.

In an amused voice Aerie scolded, “Melly, you naughty little girl! You did pee-pee all over mommy! Well, serves me right for thinking a crybaby like you could hold yourself together. Still, it’s didees from now on for you bad girl. And you’ll be in them for, well, forever.”

Surprised at the Avariel’s words Melly was even more shocked when she was lifted into the air and held, under her armpits, to dangle in front of the seated High Priestess. Her soaked trousers slid past her ankles and dropped to the floor with an ominous splat. Melly averted her eyes, looking down to avoid Aerie’s bemused stare and her now oversized headdress flopped down to cover her sight.

For a moment she was in darkness. Scared. Helpless. Her bare legs cool from her own waste. She wondered, absently, if this was how her victims had felt. The ones she’d sacrificed in her time. For an instant she felt pity for them, for all the pathetic creatures she’d tortured and slain. She finally understood. The instant faded however as she returned to pitying herself.

Aerie giggled and pulled the child’s face free from the hood, setting her on her lap to do so. The little girl jerked in pain as her sore red bottom met urine drenched cloth. The beautiful white of Aerie’s robe had been stained yellow, but it was no matter. She had plenty of robes after all and watching a butcher such as Amylissan suffer what had to be a literal burning humiliation seemed well worth the sacrifice of one of them.

The child looked to be about five, her leather tunic fitting like a dress. As the hood was pulled away the little girl’s striking red curls fell over her neck and shoulders. Even Aerie had to admit the child was very cute as this age, and she would get cuter.

The terrified girl blinked at the renewed light and gaped, her green eyes opening wide at Aerie’s seemingly monstrous size. The elf giggled once more and placed a finger under Melly’s chin, gently closing her gap toothed mouth. “Now, now Melly, it’s not polite to stare.” She joked.

Melly shivered in fear, struggling to find her voice as she fought another bout of crying. She ended up gulping and hic-cupping as she spoke in a halting and very high pitch.

“W-What are you doing to me?” she squeaked, shifting uncomfortably on the High Priestess’ wet lap, her behind burning as terribly as Aerie had suspected.

Aerie did not bother to look the girl in the eyes, after all small children were beneath that level of respect. Instead she busied herself by brushing the girl’s beautiful hair back out of her forehead with her fingers as she spoke, “Silly Melly, that should be obvious. You are being granted eternal youth, something I believe you’ve always wanted.”

“N-Not like this.” The little girl whined, choking back more tears.

“Well, of course not foolish girl. That is why it is called a punishment. You are to be an eternal child, never to age, never to return to adulthood and never again to wield the power to hurt a single soul.” Aerie explained as she played with Melly’s red curls, pulling them into two adorable tails sticking upward on the top of the child’s head. Melly found herself unable to respond through her sorrow, large tears silently rolling down her cheeks.

Finally Aerie released the hair, allowing it to fall and looked down at her charge. “Awwww, the mighty Amylissan doesn’t look happy. (giggle) Good, then the punishment is just. From this day forward you will be under the care of the High Priestess of Tobyn until Tobyn is no more. You are in essence now an aspect of Tobyn’s power, your life force attached to his, and only the power of another god would even have the hope of freeing you from this spell.”

Melly sniffled and shook, there was no release for her. Another god would have to defeat Tobyn AND steal his power AND wish to release her. Given her past betrayals that simply would never happen, her fate was sealed. Still, eternity as a little girl was not the worst of fates. Melly was just beginning to ponder this when Aerie spoke again.

“I think this is a wonderful punishment for you and me. You are going to be such a cute baby.” The High Priestess cooed, tickling Melly under the chin with a finger.

Once again the one time goddess was emotionally crushed. “What?!” she squealed in fright. “A baby!? Noooo! I don’t wanna be a baby! I don’t wanna!”

Again she kicked and screamed and fought. She wanted to just get away. She didn’t care if it didn’t matter, if her fate was sealed, she just wanted to run away and escape. Escaping from the giant priestess and dropped to the marble floor, her wet feet skidding as she tried to find purchase. Large hands reached for her but she managed to avoid them, slapping one away with all the strength her little body could muster. Then she ran, the direction not important.

Immediately she felt the energy return to her body and limbs, the energy that made her get smaller. She cried out, screamed in defiance but the feeling only gained in strength. Her tunic grew, from a dress to a robe, till her foot caught the bottom and pulled the collar to her waist.

Frantically she slipped out of the leather, noticing how chubby her hands and arms were. She saw the innocent roundness of her tummy, and the rolls of baby fat literally gathering on her thighs and feet. Her balance began to leave her as her run turned into a toddle, her gait unsure and unsteady. She slipped again, falling back onto her soft cushy behind. Her escape was done.

The sharp pain on her already sore and suffering bottom caused her to cry, to once again bawl and this time it was completely a baby’s. Long and high and exceptionally whiny as only a babe’s could truly be.

The pressure built again, from whatever liquid was left in her, and it escaped without the slightest of battles. Within seconds, Amylissan, once High Priestess of Bhaal, Lord of Murder and a would be goddess in her own right, was crying her eyes out while sitting naked in her own puddle of piss.

A tantrum started, the baby swinging her arms and kicking her feet, splashing the puddle of waste all over herself as her final remnants of maturity faded back into the oblivion the rest of her had escaped.

Aerie approached slowly, shaking her head as a bemused smile took her face. Melly was now and forever 18 months old, and as Aerie had suspected, she was absolutely adorable. There was even enough hair left for that pair of pigtails. She grinned, her love had definitely been watching. Tobyn was so generous to her.

Allowing the babe to vent her frustration Aerie folded her arms and gazed down at her. “Tsk, tsk, ?You don’t wanna.’” Aerie mocked. “Silly little baby, do you not understand it has nothing to do with what you want? That it never did? It is your pride that brought you here and it is your pride that had to be crushed for your punishment to mean anything.”

She knelt, reaching for the baby’s hand, but not to soothe her. Taking the tiny, chubby appendage in her palm Aerie brought her other hand down in a stinging slap. The baby’s wail rose for a moment as Aerie scolded her. “Baby mustn’t hit. Ever. You will find it is simply not worth it anymore to try and hurt anyone. You do not have the ability, physically, or mentally. Search your mind, could you hurt me now, even if you were all growed up?”

In her despair and rage Melly heard her and thought about it. She tried to picture attacking someone, trying to hurt them, and she couldn’t even begin to understand how. She knew what she’d been, could picture every face, every pair of eyes she’d closed for the final rest, but she couldn’t remember how she’d done it. Her power had been stripped completely in both mind and body. The wail rose yet again.

Aerie smiled, and picked the tot up into her hands, lifting Melly high above her head as the baby screamed and kicked her weak little legs. The congregation bowed at the symbol of a god of vengeance’s power as their High Priestess recited the final lines of the ritual, sealing Amylissan’s fate.

The next moments were something of an unpleasant blur. Melly dangled, no purchase, nothing to steady her mind or body. Her body lowered swiftly, a distinctly uncomfortable feeling and she was soon laid across cold marble that froze her back and bottom.

She found her ankles quickly bound and her entire body lifted into the air, her shoulders and upper back remaining against the marble, acting as a counterbalance. She struggled feebly, pathetically, unable even to bend her knees. Her legs and butt were wiped none too gently, reinforcing her feeling of helplessness.

Lowered back down her still sore bottom met something soft and warm, soothing her skin somewhat. She tried to clear her tears away, rubbing her eyes with her soft little fists, but her concentration was broken as large, strong digits moved lightly across her tummy, tickling her mercilessly.

She giggled then laughed, her baby voice sounding strange to her. She wasn’t happy in the least but she couldn’t help herself, she was just too damn ticklish and she noticed her legs kicking in pleasure on their own accord. Yet another way she could be so easily controlled now.

Aerie’s voice boomed from above, gentler now, soothing and soft, but no less unwelcome. “Good baby. Melly’s going to be a happy baby for mommy, whether she wants to or not.”

The tickling continued for a few more torturous seconds, Melly wanted to cry but simply could not. She felt her bottom become warm, and for a moment had no idea what was happening. Shifting a bit however, it was not hard to figure out. Whatever liquid was still left in her had found it’s way out, and this time she had not felt it passing in the least.

Aerie was not kind. “Oooooooo, looks like baby had some more left for mommy. Oh my, Melly’s just letting go whenever she needs to now. Well, that’s not a problem, that’s what didee’s are for after all.”

With that, a warm, damp material was pulled over Melly’s crotch and sealed around her bottom. She knew what it was, and began to sniffle again as Aerie’s hands were occupied tying the infantile garment in place.

“Baby likely has more in her.” Aerie explained, “So mommy is going to wait a bit before changing her.”

Melly was lifted swiftly and uncomfortably into Aerie’s arms and cradled against the elf’s chest. Another Priestess approached and she was handed off, despite her useless resistance.

“Let the followers of Tobyn see her first hand.” Aerie commanded, and Melly screamed. Her emotions were completely on the surface now.

Aerie giggled. “Oh, do not worry little one, you are immortal, as you always dreamed. You cannot be killed or injured, why you could be dropped on you head and you would be just fine. Though I am sure you would feel it.”

This did not comfort the baby but it was not as if she had a choice in the matter. She was handed, one by one, to every member of the congregation. Thankfully she was not dropped, but she was touched, poked, prodded and gushed over. Dozens pinched her cheeks and many checked her diaper, playfully mocking her lack of control. She would have told them herself that it had become colder, smellier and more full by the end, but it was not as if anyone was listening to her.

It was hellish and long before the end she found herself exhausted and sucking her thumb. She barely even cared anymore and drifted off to sleep, her world one of cold dampness and annoying contact.

********************

The first thing Melly noticed upon returning to consciousness was an almost overwhelming feeling of warmth and comfort. She was mildly confused, not sure at first what had been real. Wondering if she had been dreaming the entire thing. Hoping she would open her eyes and discover herself an adult and a priestess still. Perhaps the entire experience had merely been a warning from Bhaal. If so she swore to follow her promise and return him from the dead.

Still, she kept her eyes closed, afraid to even move her body and find out. It was then she felt a light tap on her nose. She scrunched her face a bit, annoyed but still half asleep. The sound of a child giggling could be heard above her and another tap met her nose. Finally she opened her eyes.

Hovering above her was a little half Elvin girl, her short pointed ears accentuating her medium length blonde hair. Her face was chubby and she was very cute and were she fully human Amylissan would have guessed her age to be somewhere between five and seven. The child was also huge, her hands holding onto the edge of what could only be a cradle. A cradle Melly fit nicely into.

Squirming a bit Melly could feel that she was wrapped snugly in some kind of blanket, the bare skin on her chest and legs letting her know it was very soft. She reached her hands down to feel the only garment she wore and was not very surprised to find a very thick cloth wrapped tightly around her waist and bottom.

Her heart sank. It had all been real. She was a baby, a fact the unnamed child announced soon after.

“Mommy! The baby’s awake! Can I play with her?” she shouted.

Melly ignored the response, deciding to explore herself for the first time. Her hands and fingers were impossibly short and pudgy and her thick tongue found few teeth in her mouth. She touched her nose, the same one the child must have been tapping, finding it to be short and round.

“Just like a button.” Melly thought, cringing at how adorable she had to look.

There was noise then movement above the crib, and soon a familiar face looked down upon her from high above.

“Good morning Melly.” Aerie said sweetly. “Is baby ready for her breakfast?”

The baby frowned, scrunching her face in displeasure.

“Ohhhh, you look just soooo cute like that.” The giant priestess cooed, reaching large hands down to wrap around Melly’s chest and tummy. She was lifted swiftly again, the blanket coming open to reveal she was clad in only a diaper and warm booties. Again she felt her head spin from the rapid accent. But that was the limit of her discomfort.

Aerie was a skilled caretaker and Melly found her body cradled softly in her new mommy’s arms as the elf’s long fingers tickled her tummy and legs lightly in a calming manner. Once seated however she found the complacency short lived as Aerie shifted her robe to reveal a surprisingly large breast and nipple. Perfect for feeding a baby Melly realized.

“Nooo.” She whined, not believing the squeaky pitch of her own voice. “No bweast. I c’n dwink wit’ cup.”

Aerie giggled. “I seriously doubt that my dear. Despite your protests you will need mother’s milk at least once a day from now on. It is not so bad, you have already had some of mine. It was in the potion you drank. It is all a part of the spell. And in case you have any devious plans forming on escaping your punishment that way, know that being deprived of milk will not kill you, it will just cause you horrible hungering pain.”

A low whine began deep in Melly’s throat upon hearing those words. She would be a suckling infant for the duration of her very long life, unless she wanted to suffer even more.

Trying to soften the blow a bit Aerie continued. “Awwww, it does not have to be your only sustenance my dear. Just once a day, so let us just get it out of the way for now, agreed?

Giving a slight nod Melly noticed movement near her feet and Aerie’s waist, the child had returned. Grasping Aerie’s robe with one of her little hands she reached the other out to poke Melly gently on the chest, causing the baby to squirm in discomfort.

“Taerie that isn’t nice.” Aerie scolded lightly. “If you want to meet Melly just say hello.”

“Hello.” The little girl said, her timid voice even sweeter than her mother’s.

Sticking a finger absently in her own mouth Melly decided she might as well try to be nice. “Hi.” She squeaked.

Giggling once more Aerie sped things along. “Melly, this is my second child, Taerie. She will turn eighteen next week. I must say it is amazing to me how quickly a child with human blood grows. I had already known of course but to see it firsthand is rather incredible. My baby is growing up so fast.” She explains, running her fingers through her child’s golden hair, her word’s causing Taerie’s entire head to resemble the sun as she blushed.

The speech also reminded Melly that she, human herself, would not be growing ever again, causing her to scowl once more. Aerie’s next words chilled her.

“I have so missed having a baby in my alcove, but I will never be without one again. Will I Melly?” Aerie asked.

The whine returned but Aerie ignored it, raising her new baby to her teat and playing her nipple over Melly’s lips until it was forced in. Once the infant began to drink the pumping was automatic and constant.

For Melly, she had tried to fight the inevitable but knew it was pointless. Once she began drinking she was surprised at the sweetness of the liquid that entered her mouth. The milk was good, extremely so and she soon found herself drinking it willingly.

She fed from each of the large pair of globes, her chubby fingers finding a use as she helped the flow along. Once satiated she relaxed, honestly surprised at how pleasant the entire thing had been, despite her mortification at the act of course.

Her peace was again broken however as she was lifted onto Aerie’s shoulder and a large firm hand began to pound her back. After a few seconds she opened her mouth to complain and a large burp escaped instead. The mortification returned. She’d just been burped and it was going to be an everyday occurrence.

Taerie encircled her hand around one of Melly’s feet and tugged on it annoyingly. “The baby didn’t say ?excuse me.’” the little girl joked with a giggle.

“Oh, that is fine, she is just a baby after all.” Aerie said.

Agitated by the humiliation she was suffering Melly kicked and struggled against her ?mommy’. “I din’ need dat!” she complained. “I coulda done it myself.”

Aerie laughed lightly and sat Melly on her lap then used a large hand to gently rub the baby’s tummy and diaper in a circular motion. “Do you really think that? You are just a baby now Melly. You cannot control your little body.”

Taerie giggled again, coming closer to inspect Melly’s little hands and feet. “You were a big girl but you were bad so my daddy made you into a little baby.” She scolded innocently. “Now mommy’s gotta take care of you. And I get to play with ya too.”

Melly swatted at the annoying brat’s hands but it only succeeded in making the child giggle more. The baby shifted on the huge lap, partially to avoid the probing fingers, partly because she was beginning to feel some discomfort. In contrast, the rubbing of her tummy felt good and she didn’t try to stop that at all.

“I kin take care of myself!” she baby whined in defiance, tears coming to her eyes.

“You seem quite positive little one, but you have no idea how complete the spell has been.” Aerie told her softly. “You are a baby and you will need constant care.”

“No!” Melly disagreed, sounding completely like a toddler. Her little arms crossed over he flat pudgy chest and she stared at her captor angrily.

The mean expression did not last long however as Melly’s discomfort greatly increased at a rapid pace. For just an instant she felt the pressure, a momentary burning between her legs before her dam broke as if it were a twig snapping underfoot. She felt herself peeing, the water flowing into her diaper and greatly warming her crotch.

Aerie noticed the funny face her baby was making and knew what she had just done, but she didn’t comment on it immediately. She just continued rubbing her little one’s tummy. “I see Melly. Perhaps you are right then. Perhaps I should allow you to care for yourself.” Aerie commented lightly.

Melly shifted uncomfortably in her wet diaper, her arms dropping from her chest. She barely heard Aerie’s comments but tried to respond. “Dat’d be nice.” She said, much more meekly than she’d wanted too. She turned, trying to move her butt to a less damp position when the second blow hit.

An even funnier face took Melly’s features, indicating to Aerie that the rubbing had been successful. Her baby was voiding her body of all its nasty stuff.

Melly tried to stop it, but the right muscles were gone. She sat on her ?mommy’s’ lap, powerless as she pooed into her soaked diaper, the sticky warm mess spreading itself everywhere. Around her bottom, between her already damp legs and into every crack. It was horrible. The worst, most disgusting thing she had been through yet.

It was then the pleasant rubbing stopped as well and Melly was lifted again, this time finding herself placed on a thick carpet on the floor.

“Very well Melly. I shall leave you to care for yourself.” Aerie told her, completing the trap.

“Melly’s smelly.” Taerie complained, holding her nose and waving her hand in the air.

Aerie actually laughed loudly this time, greatly enjoying her daughter’s comment. “Yes she is honey. Smelly Melly. What an excellent name.”

The subject of the joke ignored her new nickname, it was the least of her current problems. “Wait! Don’ weave! Tange me. Pwease!”

Aerie ignored her, holding a hand out to her daughter. “Come Taerie, mommy needs your help sewing. The big girl can take care of herself.” She said, leaving Melly to her mess.

Melly tried to follow after them, but soon discovered she was trapped. Pillows and cushions surrounded her in a large circle, like the walls of a city, and she quickly found that they were impossible to climb. In truth, her legs were so weak and her balance so poor that she found she could barely walk under perfect conditions, never mind trying to scale a hill of cloth.

She resorted to crawling, her pride taking yet another hit but that didn’t work either as no purchase could be found. Still she tried, eventually losing her balance and rolling back onto her bottom, squishing the contents of her diaper even more.

She began to cry, a desperate pathetic mewling. This wasn’t what she’d meant. Not want she wanted in the least. She bawled, her control having been taken in the ritual, but nobody would come to her aid. Eventually she noticed her hand near her mouth and her reaction was instinctual, her thumb finding it’s way between her lips. She sucked on it fiercely, soothing herself in the only way that would work.

After some time she slowed, but the thumb did not move from it’s new home. Her bottom was cold now as well as uncomfortable and deep down she just wanted to be clean and comfy again.

It was some time before Aerie and her daughter returned, the elder holding a bundle of cloth in her arms.

Setting the items behind the ridge of pillows Aerie asked cheerily, “Hello again Melly, did you manage to change that smelly dipee of yours?” Before the infant could work up the courage to respond Aerie reached out and grabbed the upper rear of Melly’s diaper firmly, pulling it away to look down the back.

Aerie gasped in mock shock. “Why Melly, you’re still all messy on your hiney. I had no idea you enjoyed sitting in messy didees.” She said, Taerie giggling at the humor.

Melly sulked. Not taking her digit from her mouth she mumbled, “I don’. Tange me pwease.”

“What was that?” Aerie asked, a hand to her ear. “I barely heard you and I do not believe you asked mommy correctly.”

Blushing horribly over her entire little body Melly pulled her thumb out of her mouth and said as clearly as she could between sniffles, “Pwease tange me mommy.”

“Much better Melly. I do believe you are starting to understand things.” Aerie told her, adding for her daughter, “Taerie, please get mommy the water bowl and some rags. Hurry now.”

Smelly Melly, as even her new mommy had to call her, was changed and cleaned right on the floor. She squirmed from the touch of the cold wet rags on her now very sensitive skin but didn’t protest in the least. It wasn’t a pleasant way to be cleaned but it was vastly better than the alternative. The baby placed her thumb back in her mouth soon after her sticky mess of a diaper was removed and kept it there for the duration.

After what seemed a small eternity she was actually clean again and soothing powder was sprinkled and spread all over her crotch and tiny bottom. ?Baby’s diaper area’ she thought with contempt as Aerie said it in that sugary sweet baby talk voice she liked to use. Admittedly, it was the only name for that place now. There was a time when a god had been content to use that part of her as a temple. Now it was just a baby’s little pee-pee, to be cleaned when dirty and ignored otherwise.

“There now baby, Melly doesn’t want to get dipee rash does she?” Aerie cooed to her as she pulled the diaper shut and tied it snugly about the tot’s legs and waist.

Melly kicked her chubby little feet at Aerie’s hands in protest, but to her new mommy it was far too cute to be considered a threat.

“Awwwww, Melly doesn’t like her new clothing. Well, mommy has a surprise for her new baby. Something she made very special.” Aerie told her, reaching behind the pillows.

Tilting her head up a bit, but making sure to keep her thumb firmly planted, Melly gazed curiously at what her captor was doing. When the giant hands returned the baby’s eye’s opened wide with shock.

Aerie paused for a moment, showing off the little outfit she’d made especially for baby Amylissan. It was a tiny, lace edged, utterly adorable version of the deathstalker outfit the would-be goddess had worn when they’d fought so many years ago. Taerie was giggling hysterically now. Melly’s deep whine returned.

“Oh, cease your complaining. I think it is going to look so very cute on you.” Aerie decided, pulling the short, red leather top over the baby’s head and past her red curls. It fit snugly, leaving enough room above her diaper to allow her belly button and much of her round tummy to stay bare below the added pink frills.

Her white booties were removed, Aerie taking the chance to generously tickle each of Melly’s tender soles and chubby toes as she cooed at the baby, and replaced with red leather replicas of her former boots, padded now for baby’s extra comfort and pink laced at the top in unison with the overall theme.

The bonnet was next a large, feathered red creation rimmed in pink ruffles that defiantly looked liked an infantile version of the deathstalker headdress. It was tied under Melly’s chin with pink ribbon into a thick bow, Aerie making sure that a few locks of the child’s curly red hair peeked from under the brim.

“Now last, but certainly most unique for a baby’s outfit, the gloves.” Aerie said, pulling into view a pair of tiny gloves that looked exactly like the red claws Amylissan had worn. Except of course there was nothing sharp on them for baby to hurt others with, and they each had a pink drawstring on the ends so that they could be tied firmly into place and not removed by little hands.

Once the outfit was complete Aerie leaned back and admired her work, her hands hugging one another below her chin. “Ohhhhhhh, you are just so cute!” she squealed, reaching out and pinching one of Melly’s irresistibly chubby cheeks.

Melly tried to ignore her as well as the sharp pain the pinch had brought, desperately but futilely attempting her get her hands free instead. “Here, allow me to show you how it looks.” Aerie added, picking up a mirror and showing Melly how she looked, in all her infantile glory.

It was the first time Melly had seen herself since the ritual and what she saw was an image that would be burned into her mind for centuries. She was, absolutely, without a doubt, the cutest baby she had ever seen. Chubby cheeks, puckering lips and a round tummy begging to be tickled. She hated it all.

The outfit was perfect, adding perspective to the surreal vision before her. This is what it had all come to. All her scheming, all her ambition and now she was reduced to a mockery of what she once had been. A sweet little harmless dolly reminded for all time of what a bad little girl she’d been.

She whined, she cried, then kicked and screamed, all the while frustrated beyond belief that she couldn’t even get her gloves off. After all, her thumb was the only thing that had calmed her.

The Taerie brat giggled again, saying, “Mommy, smelly Melly is being silly.”

“Yes, she is.” Aerie agreed with her daughter, reaching out once more with her long deft fingers and tickling the baby’s tummy. For some seconds Melly kept crying, but eventually that broke, giving way to giggles and laughter as the tickling overwhelmed her, just as it had on the alter.

This time however it was worse. She could see herself being manipulated in the mirror, see how simple it was for her captor to change even her reactions. Playing with her as if she were a puppet on strings.

It sickened her, but still she laughed. She was powerless to do anything else. Finally, thankfully, the dancing fingers stopped, allowing the baby to catch her breath.

Aerie smiled, leaning in close. “Silly baby, you gave up the right to act as you please. If you are angry and throw a tantrum, I can simply tickle you into submission. If you cry too much you will be placed where I can’t hear you, until I decide to return. If you insist on being bad for any length of time you may be spanked on your tender little bottom, much harder than a normal baby. Remember my dear, you cannot be killed or seriously injured, but your pain will always be very real.”

Melly listened intently, sniffling as the weight of Aerie’s words sunk in. She was an eternal infant, but she was no baby. This was a punishment, a prison of dependence and humiliation, and it had just been made very clear that insolence would not be tolerated.

“Now, just to demonstrate, Taerie, please give little Melly a spank-spank. Mommy thinks she’s been naughty.” Aerie intoned.

The little girl cheered, clapping her hands happily and creating a smacking sound very ominous to Melly’s small ears.

“Wha’? Pwease. No!” the baby whined, but the half-Elvin child was upon her in an instant. She felt her body jerked to the side, pulled like a rag doll across the little girl’s lap. All her downward gaze could see was the carpet past a small field of yellow ruffles that made up most of Taerie’s dress.

Little fingers reached under the back of her diaper, pulling the snug garment down roughly and uncomfortably to bare Melly’s little butt. She struggled, but both her wrists were firmly grasped in just one of the child’s hands.

Three swift strikes met her bottom, causing searing pain. She cried instantly. Amazingly that was all it took now, so much she had been reduced.

The diaper was pulled back into place, her skin still burning under it as she was seated once again.

Sweetly, as if nothing had just happened, Aerie asked, “Now Melly, what do you think of mommy’s gift? Do you like your little outfit?”

A sliver of pride remained but it was crushed easily. Melly did not want to be spanked again anytime soon. “Yeth mommy. It’s vewy nice.” She blubbered.

The wide smile returned to Aerie’s features. She knew, as did her captive, that Melly’s spirit had been broken. Things would be much easier for a while, though a part of her hoped Amylissan’s courage would rise again sooner rather than later.

“Good girl. I think we’re going to get along wonderfully.” Aerie cooed to her, patting the top of the baby’s head.

Melly swallowed hard, she’d found it was the best way to suckle on her only tool for comfort.

********************

The day was finally over. The first of many she knew. Staring up at the rocky ceiling from her comfy cradle Melly reflected on things.

The rest of the day had not been ALL-bad. True, she’d learned that other than breast milk she would have to get used to a diet of mashed veggies; ?Good for a growing baby and you too Melly’, her mommy liked to joke. She didn’t know what was worst, the taste, the fact that less seemed to reach her tummy than her face and bib or her new mommy’s sense of humor.

She’d also discovered that the amount of times babies relieve themselves in a day was downright chilling. Literally.

Still, there were moments when she’d almost had ... fun. It made her cringe internally but she had actually played a bit with the toys made available to her, and had enjoyed some. It was amazing how much happiness a few dolls and blocks could bring. It allowed her mind to escape, if even for a little bit. At least something of hers could.

Even Taerie wasn’t so terrible once she joined in playtime, though not at first. It had given Melly her only fond memory from the whole experience. While occupying herself by building a wall with some blocks, Taerie had approached and knocked them over.

Melly had of course cried. Taerie had laughed. Aerie, much to each of their surprise, had spanked Taerie and even made her apologize. Apparently, Aerie was not going to allow Melly’s punishment to turn her own daughter into a mean spirited brat. The little girl had been very pleasant from that point on.

She pondered how things would be with the coming baby. Likely she would not even be allowed near the child until it was larger than she. Fortunately, that would be at least five years off. A period of time Melly figured would pass with agonizing slowness.

Melly sighed in resignation. There was nothing she could do to change her fate so she had to at least make the best of it. She wondered if, after enough time, she would even forget her past and come to think of herself completely as a baby.

A solitary tear rolled across her cheek as she pondered that in bittersweet sorrow. It was so totally opposite her former nature, but would it truly be the worst of fates? She was not even supposed to exist. Perhaps the bliss of innocence would be welcome in comparison.

As her drowsy eyes flickered and closed she heard a voice above her. A strong, commanding voice she had not heard in ages but knew in an instant. Tobyn!

“Hello Amylissan. Your thoughts are very interesting, but for you that will never be an option.”

The babe’s eyes flew open and the sight above astounded her. Leaning over her cradle was a shining image of the Paladin she’d known; flaming short red hair, chiseled features and that intense blue-eyed gaze. It was all much larger than she knew it should look, even given her diminished stature. In fact, his upper body literally almost filled her vision, hovering seeming inches beyond her grasp.

Her thoughts were immediately questioning. Angry, sad and desperate, all projected in an instant.

“You know why former goddess, and it is very deserved no matter your protests.”

The baby’s features creased in frustration, but she did not cry. She knew he was right, but still she had to know more.

The avatar continued. “As to the deeper reasons, I needed a symbol, a holy relic that my followers might rally behind in times of need. You are that symbol Amylissan. My greatest enemy made into my greatest example. But you knew this already, you just wanted to hear it.”

Melly whined and the figure laughed. “No little one, you will not escape by retreating. I have foreseen that possibility. Oh, your emotions will diminish if you allow them to, but your mind will always be intact. You will never forget the events of your coming long years and you can never go mad. Each morn your adult memories of striving for godhood will blossom anew, even as you awake soiled and crying like the foundling you now are.”

The eternal infant began to cry silently, tears rolling down the sides of her face. The new god of vengeance actually sounded soothing as he spoke next. “Shhhhhh, it is not so bad little one. Aerie is very kind and while she will diligently follow my wishes, I know she will never punish you more than you deserve. You must also know that this is far from the worst I could do. Some even consider it lenient. Why, even Helm himself thinks I am mad.” A deep chuckle followed, but the words failed to soothe the whimpering babe.

There was a pause then finally, “I can feel my words are a small comfort to you. Then know this. Despite what the immortals like to think, you and I know better. Nothing is forever and if you do learn from your past misdeeds, well, even you could find redemption eventually.”

A large hand reached out, poking a finger gently to the baby’s chest and rocking Melly’s little body easily, reminding her of her helpless state. “However, you have many lifetimes of punishment to live before that even becomes a remote possibility. I leave you now Amylissan. Farewell.” The image intoned.

Melly felt miserable, her tears increasing and her thumb returning to its comfort zone immediately

Within moments however it became clear that the god of vengeance’s presence would not disappear from Melly’s life for quite some time. There was a rustling off to the side, out of the baby’s limited line of sight.

The first thing she heard clearly was Aerie giggling, then silence. More giggling ensued then Tobyn’s voice broke the silence in a loud whisper. “And how’s my widdo Aerie-poo doing tonight?”

Aerie’s voice responded in a slightly higher tone than normal, as if she were play-acting. “Awie wan da-da to pway wit her.”

Melly’s eyes widened again, this time not believing her little ears. They continued on, Aerie baby talking as Tobyn undressed and ?played’ with her. She didn’t want to even begin to picture what she was hearing but the image came anyway, burning into her mind as if she were staring straight at it.

Tobyn, seated on the bed and dressed in armor above the waist but not below. Aerie laying back fully nude, legs spread as she squirmed playfully. None of this was too shocking until Melly noticed that like her, Tobyn’s High Priestess was also sucking her thumb.

It didn’t stop there of course. The ?playing’ continued. Melly shut her eyes but could still see it all. Aerie lovingly wrapped in a large diaper and tied snug. Tobyn working his way around the cloth and the entire time, they played their game. That disgustingly sweet baby talk and daddy play that made Melly want to puke!

Finally her mind clicked and understood. This was a part of it all. She would see and hear this, every night, would witness their insufferable joy after each day of her sexless misery, until Aerie finally ascended to her love. Elves lived a very long time.

The crying of an infant broke the tranquility of the pair’s lovemaking. Aerie giggled around her thumb as she wet her diaper, the bottoms of her feet meeting in perfect unison as her bent knees bobbed up and down before her hero. Tobyn smirked and finished tying the fluffy white bonnet around his love’s head. He could silence the child, allowing her to scream while no sound escaped. He decided against it however, opting for a more direct, and enjoyable approach.

Picking his adoring love up and into his huge arms he rested Aerie on his hip, her wet diaper a warm cushion between them. With her crystal wings flowing down her back she almost looked like a fairy, the image broken however by the ample pair of breasts on the elf’s chest. She snuggled up to him, her legs wrapping around his hips as her feet entwined and her head resting against his broad shoulders

Tobyn had become a father figure to her as well as her lover long before his rise to godhood, but their games had taken on new meaning when he began to visit her with such increased size. She rubbed and wiggled slightly against his large frame, happy the size extended to everywhere.

The exact form and extent of Amylissan’s punishment had been Aerie’s idea. A little baby to play with and care for until the end of her days. A flesh and blood dolly for Tobyn’s baby girl.

In all, she imagined Melly’s suffering would pale in comparison to what Aerie herself had endured at the hands of slavers. Sold to a circus and stuffed in a tiny cage until her wings had withered, finally sawed off with rusty blades as she screamed in pain.

No, Amylissan was getting off easy in Aerie’s mind, but what fun she would have with the little tot as the years passed, reminding Melly of her new place.

Tobyn walked to the edge of the cradle, leaning slightly to allow his love a good view of the crying baby. Aerie spoke in her play voice. “Awwwww, smewy Mewy not happy.”

One of Tobyn’s large fingers reached out and rubbed one of Aerie’s already hard nipples, causing the elf to shudder slightly in pleasure and suck her own digit more fiercely.

“Maybe baby wants her mommy.” Tobyn mocked. “Perhaps Melly’s hungry.” He added as Aerie’s nipple became wet and milk began to drip down her stomach and onto her diaper.

The baby continued to cry, trying to ignore the vision she could not escape. A force gripped her little body, lifting her out of the cradle and into the air as she screamed. Ever upward she went, finally within reach of her new mommy’s perch. Plucked from the air she was cradled gently, lovingly in Aerie’s arms.

Her open mouth soon met the elf’s teat and upon tasting the milk, clamped on it, shutting the noise off immediately. Melly drank unwillingly, struggling weakly as she was held in her play-mommy’s arms even as Aerie was held by her own play-daddy. It was a strange symmetry but one she could not fight. In her mind she was just a plaything of a plaything now.

It was not far from the truth, though of the trio only she was unwilling, kicking and flailing uselessly even as Aerie giggled again and tickled her tiny feet. She tried to scream but the sound could not escape her lips.

And so she drank, slipping eventually into sleep, back to oblivion for a night, her world now a place of warmth and darkness and comfort ... and absolute horror.
