Sharing is Good

The first thing she heard was a voice. A familiar voice at that. It was Jade’s voice.

"No. Seriously. Yes I know but I wanted to wait till she woke up. Yes. Yes. Oh wait I think she’s coming round."

At first Georgina didn’t understand why she couldn’t comprehend what was being said, when she slowly figured out that she was only hearing one half of the conversation. She opened her eyes and stared up at the ceiling. The ceiling wasn’t a familiar one and she blinked a couple of times trying to blink away the blurry eyed feeling, only it didn’t seem to help her focus. Her hand came into view and she crammed it into her mouth, chewing on her knuckles. This woke her up quite quickly. She tried to pull her hand from her mouth but it seemed like her body had different ideas and she continued to chew on her fist.

"Looks like Georgie is awake finally" Jade leant over the bed into Georginas view and gave her commander a large grin. Jade had short black hair and sparkling green eyes, she was wearing her lab coat and her reading glasses had been pushed up into her hair. Those green eyes were positively brimming with glee at this present moment in time at seeing her commanding officer chew on her hand like a very young child. Georgina felt several questions spring to mind. Questions she was currently unable to ask due to the fact that she was still continuing to drool and chew on her own fist. Jade leant in closer and gently hooked her fingers around Georginas wrist, pulling the 38 year old woman’s hand from her mouth. Instantly Georgina began to whimper and came very close to a full scale wail before Jade popped an adult sized pacifier into the woman’s mouth.

"There. That’s much better isn’t it sweetie?"

Georgina was in shock and she grinned behind the pacifier sucking it happily. What was going on?

Jade stroked some of Georgina’s wavy brown hair

"I bet you’re confused. I know I would be in your position. Bet you weren’t expecting this though were you Georgie? Here let me help you.

Jade leant closer still and pulled Georgina into a sitting position. Georgina could see now that she was in the medical bay of the compound. What had happened to her? Had there been an accident in the lab? She tried to wrack her brain, to think of the last thing she remembered, but her memories were cloudy for the time being.

"I bet you’re trying to figure out what exactly is going on aren’t you sweetie. Do you remember the conversation we had two days ago? About how the compound needed a morale boost. You even spoke to the commanding chief Hivings himself about it all. About how we’ve all been stuck on this base for so long that staff needed something new to focus on other than work."

Jade giggled as Georgina began to pull at her hospital bedsheets that covered her, looking down at the fabric rather than concentrating on what was being said. Feeling the softness of the sheets Georgina giggled behind her pacifier. She was concerned about the fact that her body was acting on its own, and that she had been given a large baby dummy to suck on. She was also suddenly acutely aware that something wasn’t right with her crotch. And the bulge in the bedsheets was alarmingly leading her to believe she had been put in adult incontinence products. She was acting sporadic, like a young child and fear was already griping her, making her stomach twist in knots. What had been done to her.

"It was so sweet of you to agree to be the base’s mascot. Being head of the science wing here you could have easily delegated the position to someone of lesser significance but you were insistent that it had to be someone close to the top, so that those lower down would find it more entertaining"

Georgina was beginning to recollect the conversation she had had with Jade, and indeed her superior afterwards, about being insistent that she take on the role. But she had expected a mascot to be her putting on some stupid outfit and doing things like shaving her hair off for charity, doing embarrassing but fun tasks and running quizzes and suchlike, not suddenly finding herself locked inside her own body which was now acting like an infant. This had gone wrong.

"Look get Commander Hivings on the phone" Georgina tried to say behind the pacifier that she couldn’t seem to spit out, but her words just came out as incoherent mess. A random bunch of baby babbled noise and she stopped trying to talk instantly. Her eyes would have widened in fear had she had any control over what her eyes were supposed to do. Instead she stuck her forefinger up her nose and started digging around. Jade laughed out loud and pulled Georgina’s hand clear.

"No sweetie, good little girls don’t do that." Georgina simply grinned and then poked herself in her tummy and giggled at the crinkling sound her stomach seemed to make.

"Is your diapee soggy? Is it?" Jade chuckled with unsuppressed mirth as she pulled back the bedsheets to reveal Georgina’s suspicion. She was wearing a green hospital gown but it didn’t cover the fact that she was indeed wearing adult incontinence briefs. They had been decorated with some childish looking tape to make them look brighter and more infantile. She also noticed with impending doom that her briefs were saturated to the point where they had leaked onto the hospital bed sheets underneath her.

"Awww poor baby Geegee went weewee." Jade chided, causing the happy smile on Georginas face to slowly fade into confusion and then waver dangerously on crying again, she hiccuped a little sob and then suddenly she was full force crying. The pacifier falling from her mouth Jade continued to chuckle.

"There there Geegee. Mommy will have you all dry in no time, don’t cry, don’t cry"

Much to Georgina’s horror Jade leant over the bed and began un-taping the sticky tapes holding the large adult diaper in place and removed it with a quick but firm tug leaving Georgina completely exposed with limbs flailing everywhere as she continued to sob uncontrollably.

"Georgina? Georrrrgieeee. Look what I have. Look!" Jade talked to her superior in a happy go lucky way reserved for small children as she waved a colourful plastic bunch of keys at the woman. A couple of loud sobs escaped Georgina but the colours of the keys captivated her and she kicked out her legs excitedly as her hands reached up to get the keys. All the crying instantly forgotten and as soon as she had the keys in her grasp, they went straight into her mouth. She chewed contently as inside her mind she recoiled at how revolted she was feeling for herself.

"see Mommy is good at sharing. Pity adult you wasn’t quite as good. But it’s okay. We’ll raise you to be a good little girl wont we. You’ll learn that sharing is good. You know that the device was half my idea but you just won’t accept that. Well that problem is fixed now isn’t it soggy pants"

Georgina was coming to the conclusion quickly that not only was she now the base mascot, but it seemed she was also being trialled on one of their latest pieces of technology but she sincerely hoped she was wrong. It was still in the first stages of testing. Testing it on a human would be down right irresponsible at this present moment in its development but how else could she explain what her body was doing.

"Don’t you look like a vulnerable little cutie? Yes you do. Yes you do!" Jade tickled Georginas naked tummy causing Georgina to burst into a rupture of giggles and to wet herself a little bit more.

"oopsie, you are a little widdler aren’t you. Don’t worry there’s plastic sheets under the bed. So no serious damage done"

Jade ducked down for a second and returned moments later holding some wipes and talc as well as a fresh disposable diaper.

"Mommy’s going to get you all fixed up. Don’t worry" She said as she began wiping Georgina down. Georgina was too busy staring at the keys she was chewing. She wanted to kick and scream and get off the bed and run to her quarters but she was rendered helpless by her lack of control. She was being dusted down with baby powder now and Georgina wanted to cry, she didn’t want to be treated like a baby, this had all been a mistake, she hadn’t agreed to this. Okay so maybe Jade had had a hand in the initial development of the device the lab was working on. Surely they could come to some kind of understanding. Georgina could share if it meant having control back. She didn’t want to be stuck like this for good

Suddenly she found her ankles being hauled into the air and when she was quickly lowered again she noticed her butt was now on something considerably softer and dryer. Jade pulled the disposable up between her superior’s legs and up against her tummy.

"Awww soo cute!" Whose a cutie? Is it Geegee? Is it. Yes it is. Yes it is" Georgina squealed in delight and kicked her legs out as Jade cooed at the adult and taped up the sides of her fresh diaper. "Let’s get you dressed sweetie? So we can go back to our quarters and you can play."

Again Jade disappeared from view for a few moments and then reappeared with a very pink very babyish dress and matching diaper cover, with pink booties and large pink hair bows. Where had Jade even gotten this stuff?

"I bet you’re wondering where all this adult sized baby apparel has come from. I’m also betting you’re wondering where your body has gotten a life of its own, or perhaps you’ve been clever enough to figure that bit out already. Let me enlighten you doctor, when you signed that document to say you agreed to take on the Mascot responsibility and to not sue over any embarrassing situations that might occur as part of that job title...." Georgina did indeed remember signing that document, not realising that this had been their intended mascot idea

"Well after the argument we had the other night I came to a new idea that I passed on to Commander Hivings. We decided that due to the large number of parents here on the base who hadn’t seen their kids for several months, that it would make sense to have a sort of surrogate child at the base. Now, you know due to the nature of our work we can’t actually have children running around on the base and so we thought you’d fit the role nicely, and taking into account our latest weapon development needed a guinea pig and you being chief science officer, we thought it would be apt to test it on you. So we, and by we I mean me and commander James Hivings, altered reality a little bit, using the machine the lab built. Only me and Jim know about this. Oh and you too obviously. We’ve changed reality so that you’ve always been the way you currently are. Everyone on the base adores you, course they all think I’m chief science officer, so now there’s no more arguments about who developed the device, and now you’re my child and to everyone on the base that’s the way it’s always been. Its amazing Georgie. The device really works. The first time I walked into my quarters after the activation was startling. You have a full blown nursery, soo many outfits and toys and it’s all just been crazy."

Jade chatted on happily as she threaded Georgina into the pink dress and laid her former superior down on the bed to pull the diaper cover on. Georgina couldn’t believe what she was hearing, what a conniving bitch. With the diaper cover in place and the booties pulled on Jade sat Georgina back up again and began brushing Georgina’s wavy brown hair into two high bunches fixed with the pink bows.

"Me and Jim were standing in the circle at the machine’s activation so we’re out the loop. We remember what life was like before the change, but everyone else doesn’t. Don’t worry, we’ve been recording all our findings, the level of new data we’ve collated has been staggering. Everyone on the base has been much happier with you to dote on. Productivity has increased and the base just seems like a much happier place. Oh we also thought..."

It was at that point that the medical bay door opened and Commander James walked in. He saw Georgina dressed and sitting up chewing on the toy keys and he smiled. Georgina had always had a crush on James, the way he smiled with the little wrinkles that creased the corner of his eyes giving him a boyish charm even though he was 40 years old. He was compassionate and level headed. She wanted to hide, to curl up in a corner and die some place but instead she dropped her chew ring and threw her arms out wide

"DAADEEE" She squealed in utter delight "DADEEDADEE!" She bounced up and down on the bed, Georgina was acutely aware of exactly how thick her diaper was as she bounced and she made a mental note that regardless of the contract she had signed, she would find a way of being compensated for this embarrassing outrage.

James walked up to the bed and sat on the end of it. He stroked Georgina’s hair.

"Hey Georgiepie. How’s my cupcake this morning?" he chuckled as Georgina flung herself at him and hugged him round his waist. He turned his attention to Jade.

"I came as soon as I could, thanks for the call, letting me know she was waking up" Jade shrugged her shoulders and planted a kiss on his cheek. Georgina had noticed this and she wanted to scream her anger. What had that been about? Jade and James?

"I was just explaining to our new daughter that you and me are together in this new reality. A baby shouldn’t be raised by just a Mommy or a daddy, she needs proper care and attention from both and how it made sense that seen as we were both the ones out of the reality loop that it made a perfect opportunity to create a family unit."

James nodded and touched Georgina’s nose causing the 38 year old to squeal happily and hug her new daddy tighter. Georgina couldn’t believe it now it had been pointed out she could see both of them were wearing wedding rings. She had been pursuing James. Jade knew it. Jade was Georgina’s second in command and they were more than just work mates they were best friends. Georgina had confided her feelings for James to Jade and Jade had gone ahead with this reality change irrespective of what she knew. And now Jade had the guy Georgina wanted, and had Georginas job title and was now taking credit for the reality altering device that had been Georgina’s concept to begin with. The anger that boiled inside Georgina could not be measured. Jade was deluded and crazy and needed to be stopped

"Yep your Mommy is right Georgiepie, one big happy family. It seems to have had a rather positive impact on the base. You’re such a bright bubbly little girl. Everyone thinks its completely normal for you to be toddling around with your diapers on show. There’s even a wall dedicated in the staff mess room for most adorable picture of the week. You see we’ve set up a sort of time share idea where different members of staff can take turns babysitting you, you know take you to the garden area to toddle about, or the cinema complex for a movie, or whatever they want to do, we’ve already got had a keen interest and so each day for three hours you’ll be looked after by someone, it just helps people to unwind from the job, gives them something new and unexpected to focus on. It’s been like that for the past 6 months in this reality. We have people lined up for the next 23 days too.

Georgina wanted to cry. 23 days stuck like this was going to be a nightmare. Where was the stop button, there had to be a way of alerting them both that she wanted to abort this mascot plan. She certainly didn’t want half the base seeing her private area during diaper changings or bathtimes or being dressed. She hadn’t signed up to be a communal doll. This was all some kind of twisted nightmare. She blew bubbles at her daddy as he picked her up from the bed and laid her head on his shoulder. He paced the room feeling content that this woman was now looking to him to provide comfort and safety. He looked over at his new wife Jade. Jade sighed

"I still think we should have completely mentally regressed her. It’s weird knowing her adult mind is still trapped inside her body. I bet she’s pretty pissed right about now. Isn’t that right Georgiepie?"

Georgina babbled animatedly at her Mommy and stuck her hand back in her mouth as she drooled on her daddy’s shoulder and suddenly filled her diaper grunting as she pushed the contents of her bowels into the seat of her diaper. James felt her crotch get warm as her bladder gave way and she flooded the front whilst still filling the back. He gently lowered her to her feet and she stood there unstably as she continued to push until she was done.

Jade was laughing quite loudly and openly James just stood there watching his new baby’s display with an arched eyebrow. The smell filled the room almost instantly and Georgina’s light blue eyes looked into James steel grey ones, she gave him a grin and giggled a little bit.

"daddee I go’ed pottee" She said as she flopped down onto the floor landing heavily on her butt and squelching in her own mess she giggled some more and stuck her hand back in her mouth.

"you certainly did go potty you little stinky bum" James chuckled Jade was still laughing as she then put on a mock serious voice.

"Geegee I just changed you two minutes ago you smelly little terror" Georgina looked over at her Mommy and waved at her then began crawling over to her Mommy Georgina didn’t want to go anywhere near the backstabbing bitch but her body was betraying her yet again.

"It’s okay Jade, I’ll do it" James said as he grabbed Georgina’s ankles and pulled the 38 year old back towards him. Jade smiled and threw him the supplies she had been using less than five minutes ago and James pushed Georgina down onto the floor and began stripping the diaper cover off. Jade walked over and put Georgina’s pacifier back in her mouth to Georgie’s delight. Her hands wavered up to her Mommy who dangled the brightly coloured plastic keys above her head. She squealed and kicked out excitedly enjoying all the attention that was being paid to her

With two degrees a phD and several published technical journals under her belt Georgina had never in her life imagined she would find herself one day sat in a diaper full of her own mess about to be changed by her superior officer and potential love interest whilst sucking on a pacifier and cooing like an infant.

James had managed to get the diaper cover off and the diaper sagged dangerously close to leaking.

"She’s quite the heavy wetter isn’t she. I don’t suppose we have any cloth diapers to act as a second layer do we? For emergencies? We can’t be changing her every twenty minutes."

Jade gave Georgie the plastic keys and went to look through the medical supplies whilst James peeled the severely abused disposable from the woman and began cleaning her up. Georgina had never been so embarrassed in her life, the smell made her want to gag but her body was oblivious to what Georgina wanted to do. She just squirmed and kicked as James struggled to clean all the mess from the 38 year old’s bottom. Soon though he was taping Georgie into a fresh disposable cooing at her happily

"There, daddy fixed it didn’t he. Who has a clever daddy. You do. Yes you do" Jade came back at this point with a couple of rather thick looking towels and oversized diaper pins. James grinned. "They’re perfect. Stay still Georgiepie. Daddy is going to work some magic" he said as he started folding the towels into cloth diaper shapes. He pulled the squirming adult onto them and pinned them on expertly. He saw Jade appraising him and he grinned sheepishly. "I used to look after my sisters kids a lot. She was insistent on having them in cloth diapers I got pretty good at changing them, that was quite a few years ago now though. Rob is in college now for goodness sake. Always thought I’d have time for kids but, well you know how work gets.."

Jade smiled. "Not just a pretty face then, clearly you’re a 21 century hands on kind of father, still you’re getting your daddy trip now" She said as she moved round to James side and began massaging his shoulders. James chuckled and groaned a little in pleasure as Jade kneaded his shoulders. "And you’re getting your Mommy trip too. Lets not forget Georgie here gets a whole new second childhood. How lucky is she, whose a lucky girl" He said playfully as he tickled one of Georgina’s bootied feet. Georgina lay there unable to do anything but watch the sickening display of affection and giggle. The new diapers she was in now had her legs bowed out that even if she had the use of her body she wouldn’t be able to go anywhere, she was rendered even more helpless than how she had begun. James looked serious for a second as he watched Georgina quietly watching him and Jade.

"I still think we should have made it so that Georgina was mentally that of a baby too. I mean isn’t it cruel that her adult faculties are still in tact, its not like she can do anything to use them." Jade spoke softly watching her former superior laying on the carpet drooling

"well how about we use the machine so that Georgina can speak for herself, that way we can ask which way she would prefer it and then make the necessary adjustments."

Jade nodded. "That’s a brilliant idea" Georgina perked up. That WAS a brilliant idea. If she could speak she could call this whole thing off, get them to change everything back and expose Jade for the crazy bitch she was.

Georgina managed to roll herself onto her tummy and had pushed herself into a crawling position the diaper really was huge and her dress came nowhere near to covering it up. She crawled a couple of meters then tired by the bulk between her legs she flopped back down onto her tummy and played with some fibres in the carpet. Suddenly she felt James big strong hands under her armpits and she was being hauled to her feet. She wobbled unstably.

"Come on Georgiepie. Down the corridor to the lab. Here we go. He held both her hands and Georgina tottered one step then the next. She waddled unstably as her daddy began leading her out of the medic bay.

She didn’t want to go out like this. The lab was literally two doors down from the medic bay but the chances of anyone seeing her were quite high. She sucked on her pacifier as Jade opened the medic bay door and ever so slowly step by step James led Georgina out into the corridor. Immediately they bumped into Doctor Landring. A 25 year old female doctor working quite closely with Georgina and Jade.

"Awww is Geegee going for a toddle today." She said brightly as she passed. "And doesn’t she look adorable in that diaper, going for the more economically friendly option now I see Commander Hivings. No more disposables? What a cute waddle she has. Hi Jade. I got those reports you wanted on your desk." Georgina felt miserable. She didn’t like being talked about as if she couldn’t comprehend. All her life she had been in control and now here she was bottom of the pile, insignificant. Just a toy. She blew a raspberry and her pacifier fell to the ground. Jade stooped to pick it up and she pocketed it. Causing Georgina to suddenly start bawling.

"No Geegee you can’t have it now it’s been on the floor. It’s dirty." Georgina wailed louder.

"I best be off, see you later" Dr Landring left hurriedly as Georgina cranked the crying up a notch to the point where it was now a full scale temper tantrum. Georgina felt a little satisfaction at the panicked expression on Jade’s face. James held out his hand.

"Give me the pacifier." Jade passed it to him quickly and he stuck it in his own mouth sucking the lint from the carpet from it, and then plonked it into Georgina’s mouth. Her wailing stopped instantly. "There. Baby likes her dumdum doesn’t she" Georgina simply stood there wavering unsteadily sucking quietly on her reclaimed pacifier as she rubbed at her crocodile tear covered face. "now stop being a sillybilly okay Georgiepie, and lets go" He took her by both hands again and carried on down the corridor. One shaky step at a time.

Soon they were at the lab about 6 people were currently working on the project, all wrapped up in their own little tasks to notice the newcomers in the lab.

"James, if you could clear everyone out, then we can have peace to sort this out." Jade said quietly. James nodded. And clapped his hands loudly, getting everyone’s attention

"People if you follow me a second we need a quick briefing next door"

He said with commanding authority. Georgina wanted to punch the woman who had stolen her job and her team and who was trying to take all the credit for the idea they had had together. Okay so Georgina had been trying to do exactly the same thing, but sharing was now the real option. They had to work together. But instead Georgina just stood there and allowed herself to be patted and hugged as the six lab assistants moved past and followed James down the corridor. As the last one left Jade followed to the door and locked it. Georgina didn’t understand. How was James going to get back in?

"I’m sure you’re daddy will understand, that I don’t want to take the risk of you bowing out of this. So I’ve made the decision for you okay, and well..afterwards you’re daddy wont even know there had been a decision to make. I’ll fix it. You’ll see. Sorry Georgina but at the start of this little exercise I was rather dubious but I must admit I am pretty hooked up on you in your current state. I think your positively adorable and I’ve never fallen so completely utter in love before. I can’t trust you not to rat me out, and this way our idea is now MY idea So why not make it permanent huh. Wipe your mind, have you a proper happy baby girl and have your daddy be the perfect loving husband. Hell I’ll even wipe my own memory so that I don’t even get guilty about it all. See I’ve thought of everything. Perfect huh."

Georgina listened to all of this as Jade lowered Georgina down onto the floor where she sat in her oversized diaper and began playing with her booties. Jade couldn’t be serious. she wouldn’t surely wipe one of the best minds on the base. She looked up at her to see an almost feverish glint in her eyes. Jade was mad. A crazed glimmer shone in her happy eyes.

Jade took her hands

"GeeGee. I will love you and care for you so well, just you wait and see. I’ll be such a loving Mommy and your daddy too will adore you soo much. You’ll be really happy."

Georgina wanted to shake her head, to say anything to stop her, hell she’d relinquish the original concept design to Jade, if it meant saving her mind. She could share. It wasn’t that important but she just grinned at her Mommy She stepped away from her and walked over to the device. A large silver ball at chest height that had finger indentations. Jade stepped onto the footpad which activated the machine a low humm filled the room.

Hearing banging on the glass door Georgina looked over to see James pounding the glass looking quite disturbed that he could see Jade standing up at the device without him. Jade smiled and waved before putting both hands on the silver ball. Instantly she was bathed in a soft white light. Georgina wanted to scream but instead she just stuck her finger up her nose again, with Mommy currently busy to tell her no she was free to dig around of her own free will. It was all over, Georgina was about to be mentally wiped from the face of the planet. She thought about her real family her friends her academic career. Everything was about to be erased.

Georgina would have cried had she been in control instead she giggled and cooed at her Mommy being bathed in such pretty light.

"Georgina Octly is mentally the age of an 18 month old baby. James Hivings is my loving husband. This is the way life has always been for all those concerned. We are one big happy family. Myself and James will have no recollection of ever having used this device."

She removed his hands from the device and that removal instigated the change in reality for a split second everything went blank like someone had erased the page and when Georgina opened her eyes she was staring up at the mobile in her crib The little butterflies attached to the mobile were stationary now but her hands wavered up to them happily trying to reach them even though they were well above her head.

Her Mommy came into her room humming brightly as she lowered the cot bars so that she could get her adult baby out and ready for the day. Georgie squealed happily as she was handed a bottle of formula and she began to suckle it down hungrily as her Mommy changed her sodden diaper and got her dressed in a set of red corduroy overalls. Cooing and making funny faces at the 38 year old baby who simply giggled and squirmed as she was cleaned and dressed. Finishing her baba the bottle was replaced with her pacifier and she was led into the living room of the quarters where daddy was sat on the sofa reading a newspaper. Georgina toddled wobbly over to her daddy and tried to climb on his lap. He chuckled folding the newspaper and putting it down.

"Morning Georgiepie. My how pretty do you look today" he touched her nose playfully and she giggled behind her pacifier, she pulled it out of her mouth and offered it to her daddy. And he shook his head.

"No thank you Geegee, it’s all yours but good girl for sharing"

Her Mommy ruffled her hair "Such a good girl, sharing with your daddy like that"

Georgie giggled happily and stuck her dumdum back in her mouth. Sharing was good.
