A visit to the mall resolves an ongoing difficulty.
Chapter Description: A mall meeting resolves a marital difficulty. (First try at this genre.) M
She had a bundle of troubles, an unfaithful husband, no children and not to mention that the biological clock was now well advanced. Advice from expert friends and confidants, even a "family" lawyer had promised no sure solution, even at much expense. Despairing, she felt the urgent need for a cheer-up; she went shopping.
The mall was quieter than usual and the window displays were particularly uninspiring. Uggh! What to do? Maybe coffee might bring inspiration, so sights were set on the Starbucks. A skilful and expensive barista created the latte of the century, and soon she was seated, relaxing in the comfortable ambience of the most expensive coffee joint in the mall.
"Hi! It’s Sue, isn’t it?" The words quite took her by surprise. Who would know her name? The stanger continued, "Can I join you, just for a moment?"
"Sure." Anything and anybody was worth a try to improve the day.
"Seems that you could do with some help. Life will soon be better, I promise. There’s a package waiting for you at the Post Office. Just give them this card, and follow the instructions inside the package, exactly. I’ll see you again here in a week." With that the stranger smiled, and had gone as quietly as she came. A Post Office pick-up card remained on the table -with the correct name and address.
She looked at the card. It seemed a simple job to pick up a package. While here husband philandered, she felt even so, he was unlikely to send her a bomb! All very intriguing!
The Post Office line was short, and soon she was holding a plain carboard box, maybe a little more than a foot each side. The card was stamped and signed, and she carried the package to the car. She was unsure enough about opening it that she hid it until her husband went to work (hopefully) the next day.
The box appeared to contain some clothing wrapped in plastic, a small paper package, and a letter, written in a rounded female hand -addressed to her, personally.
"Dear Sue,
I so enjoyed meeting you over coffee. This package contains your future happiness. Follow the directions carefully and later this evening, your troubles will be over.
Play your part and he will play his.
I will see you for coffee in one week. Please bring him too, with the little package enclosed.
All very best wishes for a happy future,
Dryad"
Strange indeed. The other sheet was smaller and mentioned a few harmless details of a bedroom game we played after first married. This was all in the box; there was the plastic package of some warm garment, a letter, this other small paper and a paper packet. So after reading the instructions carefully, not much to read anyway, she waited for her husband’s return.
"Hi, honey!" he shouted from the door.
"Hi, Sweetie!" she replied, "I have something special for you." With that, a somewhat inebriated man was invited upstairs.
"You look ravishing!" he sighed, and she smiled.
"Come." she said, baring a breast. "You want a little, like you did before? Plenty here!"
"Wow!" he sighed.
"If you want it, you dress for the occasion. Open the package and dress."
He looked at the package, cautiously, carefully and then at his wife. The package opened, he looked at the contents unsure. However, moments later he stood newly attired in front of her.
"Come." she said, and he approached, eyes open wide at the beckoning breast.
He needed no second bidding, but soon fell on the nipple and sucked. As her husband sucked, a strange warmth came over her, comforting and arrousing. A little milk spilled into his mouth.
"Suck, baby." she cooed to her husband, all zipped up in a blue bear-patterned footed fleece pajama. And suck he did, as she watched the pajama become looser, then regain its fit and then looser and then alternating many times, as it slowly changed form, gradually enclosing the hands in mitts and the head in a hood around the face. Each time, a wave spread from fingers and feet inwards. First the fingers, and presumably toes, shrank into the hands and then the hands shrank, and then the forearms caught up with the hands , revealing a tiny hand and fingers on the end of an upper arm. A moment later the sleeper regained its appropriate fit, and the process began anew, now with the upper arms and thighs. A moment later and she saw a huge head and torso sucking her breast, but with little limbs, as one might expect on a small child.
"What’s the f*** are you doing to me?" he blurted out between gulps, but now so disproprtionate that he couldn’t move. The sleeper now looked like an infants zip-up bunting bag, with just short rounded bumps where little hands and feet were enclosed within. An anguished face stared out from the hood. The anguish turned to terror as the reality of the situation set in. This started as a game, but had been turned to a life-altering power change, and he was losing the battle fast.
"Enjoy the titty!" she encouraged, but the sucking stopped. As she looked in horror, his head began to shrink into a tube of loose neck skin. For a moment he was sightless and speechless. A further wave spread over him, and the neck reduced to match the limbs, and the torso writhed, like a bag of worms as bones and internals noisily shrank and reorganized. The rending sounds abated. The fleece shrank one more time to loosely fit the new conformation, just as the movement stopped.
She gazed in disbelief, and then hugged the diminutive form back to the breast. He cried, not an adult sound at all, but that of a healthy infant.
Her husband appeared to be an infant, much like any other, dozing contentedly after a full meal at the breast, zipped up in a little hooded bunting.
Cautiously, she unzipped the little bundle, to clean and apply a makeshift towel diaper. The transformation was indeed complete, and now many details became stunningly clear. Yes, here was an infant, not likely to chase the ladies as before, well not for a while anyway. So maybe that’s why the anguished expression earlier...
The next few days passed at home as she shopped for Pampers and bottles and all the stuff she had never thought she’d ever need. A few excuses about ’flu and caring for sick relatives kept the boss off her back for a few days. Life felt so good. The baby fed and pooped and bonded with her as she had always dreamed a baby should, so much so that she almost forgot her rendezvous at Starbucks.
It was exactly the week, to a day. The young man was scooped up, diapered and wrapped and off they went to the mall. The bunting looked cute, so she thought maybe it should be shown off to the stranger, if she managed to meet her again.
She carefully selected the same Starbucks table, and set the baby bag down beside. She looked into the ocean of people in the mall hallway but there was still no sign of the stranger from a week ago.
"Sue? Jamie?" came a familar voice from behind. The voice was kindly and comforting, but how had the stranger arrived?
"Yes, we’re here." she replied.
"The best Mom and best baby in all the Mall!" the stanger complimented. She then sat at the table, and smiled at the infant gazing out from the hood of a little blue bunting.
"Now what?" Sue asked, almost fearful for the answer.
"Well, he’s not chasing the ladies like before is he? Maybe you like the change and the new life?"
"Very much.."
"I promised in the letter that you would never have to worry about him again. If you want to continue with no such worries ever again, it’s time to open the little paper package." Dryad waited patiently.
"Yes, the paper package. There’s something important in it." she thought. Moments later she had it open. There was a small card, and an infant’s binkie, with a sparkling red nipple.
"Go ahead." encouraged Dryad, and she slipped the small ringed binkie into his sleeping mouth. She smiled and they both smiled, and again as she read the note enclosed with the binkie, now being sucked lustily. "Congratulations. This seals his change, and joy for you both."
"Thankyou." was all Sue managed to murmur, and then after a moment the stanger said, "I have something for you. Congratulations!" With that she was gone, as silently as she had come.
A large manila envelope lay on the table. The envelope had official seals and printing in the corner and Sues full name in the middle.
It was time to go home, so she picked up the baby, the bag and the envelope and headed for the restroom to change him before the journey home.
She unzipped, and untaped and was just about to clean him when she noticed something very wrong. The young man’s manhood was missing, completely gone. Everything had been just right at home, but now... A further quick check showed a normal little girl in place. A mistake? He’ll certainly be permanently out of the philandering business now, though she wondered if she had reallly intended exactly this when the game started.
She reached for the manila envelope. Tentatively, she opened it, and withdrew the papers inside. She began to read the news they contained.
"My!" she murmured as the full impact set in. Here were the legal papers for a two-month infant girl, all properly adopted, for anyone to see.
She looked down at her small charge, squirming on the changing table.
"I love you." she whispered. "This time, we’ll be the best in all the world!"
